Toledo's famous almond-fruity-sweet mazapan is sold all over Town. As we wandered, we kept a lookout for Convents advertising their Artesano version. Our first opportunity was at Convento de San Antonio de Padua and for only 5 Euros, we bought a box that came in really handy as a snack when we were later driving through Northern Spain. Very good place where to buy some traditional sweets far from the expensive places around the main squares. I found it by chances while walking around and I decided to have a look, it was a nice discovery. I bought a Toledana that was really good. Handmade products at very good prices, it is definitely worth it. read more
