I dropped in here Friday 7/18, the workout was fantastic a great strength piece and burner of a WOD! The people at the gym were super friendly (most of them) and the coach and owner was actually coaching. I have been some places where the coach is not doing much, but at this place the coaching and programming were perfect! This will be my go to place from now on when I am visiting Hilton head! I will be back in December for sure!!! read more

Dropped in for a week earlier this month. Exceptionally clean facility, following all the COVID protocols, not crowded. So nice that they introduced everyone at every class if there was someone new! Equipment was in great shape and the coaches were knowledgeable. They also have weightlifting platforms which is unusual in a CrossFit gym, but so helpful for working on Oly lifts. One really great thing about this gym compared to most is that they have a half hour between classes so you have time to warm up or add to your workouts. All CF gyms should do this! read more

My husband and I dropped in for a workout while in town for 4 days. We met Ed and Natalie. Natalie was our instructor for the WOD. Really nice box with a welcoming community. I worked with coach ed at the 5:30 class. He was very friendly and made the place feel like a home away from home. I LOVE this gym!!! The coaches are amazing! The owners are incredibly welcoming! Out of town visitors are treated just like members. I got to work with Jeff, Morgan and the owner Craig. They are all such incredible coaches. I've been doing Crossfit for almost two years and they all gave cues that I had never heard before which helped so much. Every trainer we've had has been as welcoming, and they're all very good coaches. Try it out when you're in town!...We did the $50/person for unlimited trips while here for five days. Outstanding gym and great coaches. I drop in here for a week every year while vacationing at Palmetto Dunes. They offer great wods for drop-ins and a large amount of open gym blocks if you just want to do your own thing. They have a moderately large space and plenty of equipment for everyone. Highly recommend this box for maintaining your fitness while on vacation! They have a free water purifier system and plenty of supplements and foods to fit your recovery needs while there. They also offer a $50 weekly pass which is well worth it. read more

This is the cleanest and nicest box I've ever dropped in to while traveling. The facility is really just pristine. Great coaches. I felt right at home. Drop in process was super easy. If you're visiting, bring your own jump rope if you have one or if you're picky on exact length---they don't have that many spares. read more

Was in HHI for a week for vacation and needed a place for Crossfit. I could not have been happier with my experience at CTF. The coaches were fun and helpful. The programming was great. It included a dedicated strength portion and wod portion. This mimicked my home box. There was also a logical progression each day with the programming. Not all gyms I have dropped into have done this. The members could not have been nicer to me. I was so pleased with the experience and will go back next year when we return for our annual trip. read more

Was on vacation for a week and wanted to stay connected to my workouts. This gym is tremendous for out-of-towners. It is a great layout, clean, super spacious with modern cages for all possible combinations of your WOD. The best part for me was fitting in among the usual/local Hilton Head XFit members. You could tell those that knew each other from weekly sessions, but, they had a great time welcoming in new people from new cities. The coaches are friendly but serious. They stressed stretching more than my home box and to be candid, after a week of it - I am going to bring that recommendation home to Philly. They are also very diligent about timekeeping, moving through transitions, and the integrity of the workout and teamwork. Firm but fun. Ed was particularly fun, approachable and outgoing to spend time with me (I am a runner first, XFit second, so heavy lifting and mobility are not easy for me). Gym was a highlight of my vacation and 110% recommend it if you are travelling and want to work out and also meet some great people. read more
