They do agreat range of Le creuset items, which if you are not familiar with are the cast iron pans that probally a lot of your grandmas had when you were little. I love this range and i although i have to save my money in order to purchase items for my collection, its so worth doing for the quality you are getting. They also sell professional chefs knifes, which my husband has purchased over the years as he is a chef and he finds they have cometetive prices and a very good selection. The staff are really nice and also very helpful and never mind ordering things in in different colours or other parts of the range they may not have in stock great store, great staff, great service and most importantly great product range.

You may know the French have a great reputation for their unique and tasteful cuisine, which is where the shop name was inspired from. Based on their style and products I think it suits them well. I asked the guy about their non stick pans and they have a great section in a style that I would imagine to suit everyone. As a person who enjoys cookery I was curious about what else they had to offer and I wasn't disappointed because if they didn't have something they could tell you where you can get it. As well as this the prices are high but good value for money and all pots and pans had a guarantee. Their selection of non stick items has a lifetime guarantee; music to a chef's ear! The guy was really nice to chat to and even owned some of the items himself. The fact that he told me detailed stories about the items proved this. He also gave helpful information about every item I enquired about. If you ever need an item for your kitchen then consider coming to Le Cruset.

I appreciate that for good quality cookware, you need to spend, but I'd never anticipated it would be quite as costly as this, even with the benefit of a large summer clearance, with 50% numerous items. The one item I have bought from there, a birthday gift for my mum, has proven to be excellent quality. The shop has every conceivable variant of pot and pan, and it's nicely laid out and presented, with friendly staff. However, because of the prices, I'd say that Le Creuset would only really be suitable for gifts or for those very serious about their cooking.

We love browsing there - the atmosphere is welcoming, the goods attractively laid out (even if the place is a wee bit tight - it's not so crowded that you feel you're going to knock stuff over every tie you turn around). We very often end up finding something we need or want even if we didn't know we needed it or wanted it before we came in. Neither my husband (the cook in the dam,ily or I) are gadget hounds or anything - the size of the kitchen is good but doesn't give us room for whirly-gigs that we don't REALLY need. But the shop is chock full of the useful as well as the aspirational but best of all has a VERY knowledgeable and helpful staff. They not only know their stock and go out of their way to be helpful - they clearly cook/bake themselves and can speak with from first hand experience with many of the items they sell. So we usually end up doing our part of the local economy :-)

Downstairs is the usual mix of homewares, ornaments , paints and Diy stuff, there are definately bargains to be had in store and on the whole the staff here are helpful and will help locate stuff from another store if necessary. Biggest downfall, they take ages to answer their phones, customer service over the phone is their major let down point and they can be quite abrupt and not very helpful definately a much better experience in store than trying to find or locate an item over the phone.

The store is fairly large inside and stocks a variety of different items for home and garden as you would expect. I like the fact that the staff are helpful and friendly in here and I think that it makes such a difference compared to the, sometimes rather intimidating staff at the big chain DIY stores. They always ask me if I need any help or advice in here and they seem to genuinely want to help their customers. I have found that the prices are fairly cheap for a DIY store too, which is always a bonus. I would recommend this to anyone in the local area!

A deceptively large store once you get inside, the name may initially sound like it's bitten off a bit more than it can chew, but it certainly makes a very good go at it. Numerous times I've been in looking to pick up one thing or another, and (unlike U2) have always found what I'm looking for. From plants to power tools and flooring to light fittings, you can assume that if you're looking for something in terms of DIY, Dennings will probably have it. Better yet, the shop has a charming, local feel, a much more pleasant atmosphere than the soulless chains, and the staff are always knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended.

This store is rarely busy unless it's 10% day and the parking is good (although it's tricky turning right out the car park since Lidl opened on the opposite side). It's worth ringing ahead if there's something particular you want as the Focus DIY at Warwick is now a Homebase and is larger and often has better stock levels.

We were quoted £3750 to have drawers, doors & worktops replaced in our two bed semi detached…read morebungalow. There was never any question to quibble over the price because the franchise owner Ian Wyper promised with great enthusiasm & sincerity, a complete professional & skilful makeover with quality merchandise including mechanisms such as self closing fittings. In addition, all preparations would be carried out in advance away from our property; waste would be taken away & everything left clean & tidy. However, his expectation of a 30% deposit we did find exorbitant, so he agreed to settle on 20%. The contract states that the time of completion is between 6 & 8 weeks. Within this timeframe we had not heard anything from the company so we contacted Ian by e-mail requesting a starting date; we were given a vague time commencing 3 weeks hence. Nothing materialised so another email was forwarded with a request of a definite date, or our deposit returned. Within hours he was on the doorstep; a date was given for week 13. Week 13- Day 1: It transpired immediately that the promised self closing devices were not on the order sheet & would 'cost extra'. Excessive wrenching & hammering to prise the worktop apart from the base resulted in a leakage to the pipe work. A cupboard door was fitted with the opening the wrong way round which resulted in wastage; it was necessary to order a new door. Day 2: Three end panels were all wasted & had to be re-ordered; one panel was fitted scratched & their joiner used screws unsuitable in length which penetrated through each panel breaking the outer surface. For whatever reason the worktop didn't arrive from the factory on time, so the men decided to abort their working day early & collect it themselves the next day. To do this they would need room in their van. Without permission they decided to dump rubble and waste (From jobs elsewhere) on our drive before disappearing out of sight. Day 3: The worktop was cut on the drive; in fact much of the preparation work on day I & 2 was also carried out on our premises contrary to Ian's promise to the contrary. Because a bag to collect sawdust was not used on the power tool when cutting the worktop, fine sawdust was left covering our drive & was also deposited on the pathway & flower border of our neighbours' property. Week 15: The end panels were fitted. The door panel arrived damaged & had to be re-ordered. We had to specifically request that hairline gaps in the joins of the worktop fitted two weeks ago be filled; the filler is white & does not colour co-ordinate. The result looks what it is - a messy job! Week 17: Four weeks after the kitchen was installed a 12 inch of piece of plinth fell off. Examination revealed it was only glued to its corresponding piece of plinth instead of being secured to the wall with screws. Would we recommend Doors & Drawers? Please make up your own mind; our experience may not be yours. Tip: If you decide to hire this company make sure to get a starting date at the time of paying your deposit. We waited so long for Ian's decision making that we were unable to book a summer holiday. Deposit paid: 24th June - Completion: 23rd October - Over 17 weeks! The most disappointing aspect is that there was never anyone available to quality control procedures during or after completion; we expected Ian to fulfil this role; to have been visible & commutative, but in spite of extensive promises of such, both verbally & in writing on his web-site, this did not happen. From reading order date labels on the merchandise, Ian ordered commodities only shortly before commencement of work, which resulted in delays & inconvenience. Out of courtesy we first sent Ian this review via e-mail with a polite message asking him to respond if he believes any of the content to be untrue or exaggerated; he did not reply.
