Unfortunatuely, only 5 of the 7 cookies were still on sticks when it got to my coworker. And I pay over for the $80 and this is the lame bow you put on it? The cellophane is all wrinkled and the eyes on the turtles are more like little black eyes. Anyway, I had been happy in the past, but I guess the quality has decreased. I live in a different state now but have always been a fan of cookies by design. I found one not too far from where I was staying for my son's college graduation. I called and spoke with the most pleasant person who took and processed my order over the phone. When i arrived, I noticed the cookies were amazing but not on sticks. I let the owner know and she was super apologetic and asked that i give her a few minutes. Within 5 minutes she came back out with decorated cookies that were on sticks. We are using them as party favors and ordered an assortment of graduation designs. She even had a flower cookie to thank me for my business and to apologize (not necessary as she quickly resolved the mix up). The favors turned out amazing! The cookies were delicious and a huge hit. I would have given this a higher review if I would have gotten a response from the 2 emails I sent to customer service about a problem with my order. I ordered 2 separate bouquets and one wasn't correct. I wanted a dozen variety with nuts with 2 decorated cookies and my mom (for Mother's day) received 11 chocolate chip withOUT nuts and 2 decorated cookies. Yes, the cookies were delicious said my mom, but it wasn't what I paid for. What is the problem that I can't get a response for the mistake they made. So, my suggestion would be to find another company to order from. Update: After writing this review within about an hour they contacted me and offered a $15 gift certificate. They explained the reason they hadn't responded and I am satisfied with what they are offering. I recently purchased 30 custom cookies, they were all the same, a simple light pink heart sugar cookie with one word in white. I thought pretty straight forward right? Pick the design off the website and add my custom word, pay $4 for each cookie and good to go. But no, the cookies looked nothing like they did on the website at all. There was this random pipping added around the heart shape, and the overall sugar frosting was inconsistent across the cookies and on some cookies wasn't even there. The writing was sloppy and big on some and small on others. I would not order from this location again. There are plenty of little at home one of places that do way better quality for the price. Second time and last time with this location. Listen just because you are the only location in a 50 mile radius does not mean you can skimp on the brand guidelines. The cookies dont stick to the too long sticks you are using so the cookies are wobbling by the time you get them to the recipient inevitably 1 or 2 are already broken from the stick and now we cant even take a picture. I received an order yesterday from my son same issue by the time we got home 2 cookies were already broken I couldn't even take a picture to post. The cookies taste nasty and salty like you skimped or simply forgot to add sugar to the batter and no glazed frosting. What i received is not like the picture the brand has posted. As a consumer we are trusting you when we place the order and are expecting that you do right by us. Do not use the excuse of covid because that is no excuse. If I could give less stars I would. The worst experience I've ever had with a gift delivery. They didn't deliver on the day I requested, then didn't complete the delivery because the recipient wasn't home. They tried to leave it with the leasing office, and tried literally nothing else. I was not contacted with any delivery issues or difficulties. Then, they called the day after the delivery attempt to say they would try again if I paid another $25 delivery fee, on top of the one I already paid. I asked for a refund instead, and they wouldn't even refund all of my money. Don't waste your hard earned money or time folks. I am appalled by the lack of awareness of what minimally decent customer service looks like. Oh! I almost for got to mention that the girl on the phone hung up on me. read more
