There was another family there when we got there and there are a ton of flavors to choose from. I am surprised they offered gluten free flavors and have such a variety that it was so hard to pick just one. They also have fancy cone flavors along with the basic cake cone and sugar cone. The service was great and the pricing is like a typical ice cream place. I like how much parking there is but it also makes me wonder how bad parking would be if it was warm outside. I believe it is Perry's brand rather than house-made, but it's still very delicious. I ordered Birthday Cake and White Lightning in a dish. White Lightning is a very nice rich dark chocolate base with mint swirls mixed throughout, delicious and different from any other mint ice cream I've had before. The Birthday Cake flavor is sweet, with delicious blue buttercream frosting and sprinkles mixed in. They give generous sized scoops, so 2 are filling and worth the $5 price. I had eaten recently and didn't have the space for a sundae, but it's the best bang for your buck. I got one cookie to go for the following day and a single scoop in a cup to enjoy right then. My total after tip was a little over $8. The single scoop was a generous portion and the packaging was good for travel. I thought the ice cream was fresh, creamy, and exactly what I was looking for. Just left Cookie's Creamery. I told my husband that was the best ice cream that I've had in a long time. I'll start with the positive. They had a huge selection of all different types of ice creams. I had the peanut butter cup and it was so creamy with tons of gigantic chunks of peanut butter. I'm obsessed with peanut butter and it was a dream. My husband got study break in a dark chocolate cone that he said tasted like dark chocolate. He really liked study break because it was mocha iced cream with the giant bands of peanut butter and big brownie chunks. Only one minor annoyance: They have a numbering system they weren't using. It made it very confusing because no one knew what to do. They just waited on whoever was around. We finally got waited on by the girl. She was nice. In the end, the one guy asked what our number was and they started doing it from there. Either use it or remove it and use the line concept. Cookie (family matriarch) went everywhere with the family. They recounted stories of sitting on the boardwalk at the beach eating ice cream with Cookie. Ice cream flavors were plentiful and and even included fat free no sugar added (why???) I had a single scoop of the raspberry swirl ice cream. As I drove home eating my ice cream, I regreted not getting a quart for the road. My parents got a quart and a cup of ice cream. They called me with rave reviews. Seating is available. Parking may become an issue once more people hear about this business on the corner of Thompson Run Road & Babcock Boulevard. They support another local business by selling Red Ribbon (Natrona Bottling Company) beverages. I love their MINT gingerale (very similar to Tom Tucker). Gift cards aren't available yet but ... Wonderful ice cream shop located in Wexford. It's located within a strip mall with adequate parking. The creamery has traditional ice cream offerings. What sets them apart are the large freshly baked cookies and unique homemade waffle cones that they can incorporate into your ice cream order. Not sure if I want to go there anymore. Cookie's has been my family's place to go for ice cream since they opened but not I'm not so sure. We wanted some ice cream after dinner and looked on the website seeing they close at 8 (google says 9 but the website says 8) it was 7:20 and they are only 2 minutes from our house. So we get in the car and headed down got there around 7:24 There were 3 girls sitting at a back table and all the lights were on. Walked up to the door and went to open the door and it was locked. So I called some young lady answers and I asked if they were open by chance and she said "yes but we closed early". So we left and went to DQ ( which we did not really want) so on the way back since we have to pass cookie's to get home. There were people inside getting ice cream.
