Omgee!! Boy am I glad I was recommended to this location. Will took care of me right away to get my tires replaced. Excellent service from him, guided me and educated me on how to know if my tires are in good conditions or if they are in need of replacement. He answered all of my questions clearly and also gave additional information. When it comes to pricing they have the best prices for the tire brand you obtain. Lobby area is super clean, smells like brand new tires lol and they have complimentary drinks for their customers; such as coffee, water, sodas, chips are also available for the customers. Again overall it was an amazing experience coming down to the location. Will made the process go smooth and very pleasantly. I will be coming back for any type of tire needs. I have been meaning to write a review for a while now. I brought my wife's Lexus IS 250 in for tires and service including changing the cabin filter. It wasn't my first time being a customer here and my experience in the past had been positive. However this time, after getting the car back my wife noticed that when driving it the car air recirculation no longer worked. Even when the fresh air mode was turned off and recirculation mode was on, it was obvious that there was still outside air and smell coming through. When I brought it back in the team claimed that they go nowhere near the mechanisms that control that for the service provided. They told me that if I wanted them to look into the problem beyond just visually looking at the glove compartment they would have to charge me. I told them that seemed odd and that it sounds a huge coincidence that I did not have this issue before and only had it right after getting the car back from them. They said I can just close the air vents in the car if i wanted to reduce the air/smell from outside. I didn't want to argue over it and have just been living with it like that since then. When looking into it online and also having someone else look at it it appears likely that they did not have the recirculation set appropriately when changing the cabin filter and broke the mechanism that opens and closes the panel that interacts with the air flow. Very very disappointed in the quality of work and customer service received. Would not recommend coming here. read more

I've been a loyal customer of Cook's for nearly a decade. I attended the grand opening of the Orange location and worked with Jason there for years. They handled everything on my vehicles -- alignments, oil changes, brakes, suspension upgrades, and more. After moving to Cypress, I started going to the Fullerton shop. About two years ago, I brought in my 2011 Tahoe for A/C issues. They replaced several parts and charged me a substantial amount, assuring me the problem was fixed. A few months later, the A/C stopped blowing cold again. I brought it back, and they said another part had been missed the first time. They charged me full price again -- including another A/C recharge. Now, less than two years later, I'm having the exact same issue. I brought the Tahoe back in, and they told me the same part they replaced before now needs to be replaced again, along with a recommendation to replace the entire A/C unit -- all for over $4,000. To make matters worse, during a recent inspection, they cracked my dash cover while removing it. I have before and after photos that clearly show the damage. I noticed it immediately when I got home -- the dash was literally flopping up and down over bumps. I called right away, and the manager asked me to send photos so they could take care of it. I sent everything over... and never got a single response back. After ten years, multiple vehicles, and visits across multiple locations -- I'm done. I came in to for wheel alignment and the experience was great. Even after the alignment was completed they noticed the steering wheel was still out of aligned during the test drive but they were able to diagnose the problem. I also got to learn a few about tires and what to look for the next time I'm shopping for them. Cook's is incredible! I've been taking my VW Passat to the dealer for the past 8 years. Over the last 3 years I've had a ton of issues with the EPC light turning on constantly. VW dealer could never find the root cause so I basically lived with this light coming on, and the resulting loss of power. Finally I decided to give Cook's a shot (after Chat GPT searched them out for me). First they did an excellent brake replacement for about 30% lower than the dealer charged. Then I showed them a check engine that came on. I also told them about my EPC light problem. I'm telling you guys, their master mechanic David is an absolute treasure. He quickly diagnosed the 18 codes and found the real culprit: the fuel pump in the gas tank area had a 1 inch hole and was leaking fuel! (No wonder I would frequently smell gas). Finding this issue required removing my back seats to get to the fuel tank. Something my VW dealer never even considered checking. David ended up replacing the pump, and not only did this fix the check engine, but my EPC light problem was fixed too as a result. My car has never performed this well since the day I bought it! This place really lives up to its logo "the dealer alternative". Manager William was phenomenal as well. I've found my new shop! read more

I can't recommend this tire shop. The staff made me feel welcome. They're genuinely friendly and take the time to explain your options without trying to upsell you on things you don't need. It's clear they value honesty and customer service above all else. I've been here a couple of times now--for a tire repair and later for a new set--and both experiences were excellent. Upsell, upsell, upsell. The people here are nice enough but they work on fake upsells. I brought my vehicle in a few times for oil changes and every time they found something else that was wrong with it. Once it was that the wheel weights weren't correct. How would they know that when they are just doing an oil change. Another was a mysterious loose oil pan that had to be rebuilt supposedly. I passed on everything except my oil changes and what do you know I have never had a problem. If you do come here just watch for the upsells. read more

Third time coming here. Always had an appt and got in. Had an appt at 2:30, show up at 2:20 and was told it would be 2 hours before they could get to our car because they took a bunch of walkins. Immediately I noticed a tugging while driving but I thought that may be because of a new alignment and maybe it was my driving? This place has been my primary mechanic for three of my vehicles for the past 4 years. William has always been been very honest with his recommendations and prices every single time. His customer service is always phenomenal and is always my go to guy for service. I've worked with other service reps here as well and all of them seem great. They use OEM parts so the prices are not the cheapest but I can always trust the quality of the work and parts going into my vehicle. If you're looking for the cheapest mechanic, this is not the place for you, but just keep in mind that you will often get what you paid for. Car maintenance is something that I do not want to get the cheapest parts or service on. In the four years them working on my cars, I have never had any issues with them and I have done several major overhauls on two of my cars with Cook's.
