I was ordering a birthday bouquet from out of town. I didn't want to spend too much... They were reasonable, down to earth, and friendly, and they really exceeded my expectations. My dear aunt was so pleased that she sent me a photo of the arrangement. I would heartily recommend them! read more

I ordered an almost $100 arrangement to be delivered for someone's birthday. The recipient sent me a picture of what arrived. Looked NOTHING like what I ordered. I was so disappointed. I called the shop to discuss the situation. The man on the phone advised me that he didn't have the flowers in stock that were on the website. I asked him why he didn't call me to advise me of that so I could pick a different arrangement. He said he picked what he thought looked best. NO! What my loved one received looked VERY disappointing and definitely not worth the almost $100 I spent. He said he'd go pick it back up and give me a refund. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! It was already delivered to a loved one for their birthday. I'm not going to have it taken back! That's ludicrous. I managed to get the delivery fee taken off, but that doesn't fix the poor customer service, disappointment, and outrageousness. read more

Ordered an all white rose arrangement for my daughter's birthday. She received a gerber daisy, carnation, 1 snapdragon, lily and greenery arrangement, not one rose!! My bill was $119 for crap flowers I didn't want or pay for! Owner said would only refund delivery charge.. Unacceptable!! Would not recommend this florist! read more

Wish there were a ZERO Stars available! My wife and I needed to order some flowers for a funeral. We had used Cooksey's before as we grew up here, but NEVER again. We waited in the car, called their posted number, and then were waved in by a man. Both us us had masks on, but my wife's mask was not up high enough for the the man. She told him it was covering her nose, and it was. Not good enough. He told her to pull it up or he, "couldn't serve us and WOULDN'T serve us." After my wife told him she couldn't breathe with the mask much higher (it already covered her nostrils and the tip of her nose), we were told it didn't matter. He again, repeated if she didn't pull her mask up further he, "couldn't serve us and WOULDN'T serve us." Piss on him, we went down to Posy Peddler and those folks couldn't have been nicer. We selected our flowers and were on our way without the drama and hassle. Screw you and your chicken spit flowers. We spent our money (almost $500) at the Posy Peddler. read more

Cooksey's handled the flowers for my mother's funeral. The gentleman listened to my sister and I and incorporated our ideas into the most stunning family arrangement that I have ever seen. Every arrangement they created was beautiful. I appreciate that they wrote the description of the flowers and the sender's name and address on the back of each card which made sending thank you notes much easier during a difficult time. They far exceeded my expectations. read more

Having grown up in Jonesboro, my family has used Cooksey's for many years. Although I now live out of state, I was recently in Jonesboro to celebrate my Mother's 98th birthday. We visited with Janelle at Cooksey's and explained we wanted something spectacular -- she more than delivered. The arrangement was FABULOUS - the flowers were fresh, the design was lovely, and my Mother was absolutely thrilled. Cooksey's always makes it easy for me to send flowers to my wife or friends who are in the hospital or a skilled care facility. Mr. Cooksey went above and beyond to fill my order on such short notice. I had ordered a casket spray for my mother's funeral from another florist. The flowers showed up the day before the funeral and were the most hideous flowers ever. Mr. Cooksey had less than 10 hours to make a spray. He did a fabulous job with the spray. I will ALWAYS recommend Mr. Cooksey to anyone in need of flowers. read more
