I must say, I could not have been better treated than I was when I walked in this place. I had not been there in over a year. The man behind the counter looked up my name in their files and found that I had paid for a package- way back so long ago I certainly didn't remember, and he was honoring the rest of the package. I was so pleased I offered to buy some goggles. He gave me some for free. I noticed as he was waiting on me, someone else was cleaning a room, and very thoroughly at that, not just a quick sweep with on old cloth, like most places. Possibly the worst tanning salon I have been to. Very unprofessional and the owner really doesn't know how to deal with customer problems. The lady they have working the front desk most of the time is unprofessional, comes to work looking like she just rolled out of bed with no bra on and everything visible...simply not a well run business! I have tanned here a few times; most recently I purchased 10 visits for myself and my husband to use. I had 4 visits left on a 3/12/11 and my husband and I were going to use them Saturday and Sunday before we moved out of town on Sunday. We went to the salon 40 minutes before they closed and the lights were off and the door was locked. Consequently, we were unable to use up our visits before moving due to the fact that the OWNER closed early. I called about getting a refund for the last few unused visits and the owner was very rude...telling me they take their last appointment 15 minutes before closing and that what I was saying was impossible. He proceeded to talk over me when I tried to explain I was unable to use the visits due to them closing early, not because of my own reasons/issues. He hung up on me twice and when I called back to ask for the owner's phone number (I didn't know I was speaking to the owner...especially considering how rude and unprofessional he was) he told me I was barking up the wrong tree, he wasn't issuing me a refund, and hung up on me. I would avoid this tanning salon if at all possible!!! If you need to tan there is another tanning salon on Long Beach Road and the owner/employees are much more polite and professional. read more
