The chef is from southern Italy and knows how to combine spices to make a delicious meal. We had the Caprese salad (excellent and prepared in an unusual and delicious way), Pizza Margherita (fabulous), Pasta arrabiata ( the sauce was amazing), and the Feldschlosschen beer is very tasty. Service was excellent and they were happy to accommodate our special requests. Highly recommended!

The first place to stop is a typical Ice cream, beer wine spot but what separates it from the usual is all the stuff for kids. They have several "Catapullar" like machines, a crane and a front loader the kids can operate for one Frank. Super realistic . They also have mini cars and a cool track where the kids can drive- also one Frank for about 5 minutes. Really fun. Above the restaurant is a city owned park with gobs of water features, climbing stuff, a mini zip line and ropes to climb on. Gorgeous park! The restaurant is called Schlucher-Treff. The dinner portion prob would have been 2 mushroom but with the soup it was a lot of food. Hubby had cordon blu- but this one is made with pork. They do not have English menus so make sure you read German or have a translator like google. We ordered the fish and chips and the pork snitzel. Both were very good. They have a decent wine menu but we opted for the wheat beer, which was very good as well. The lake view with the castle on the hill was awesome. It is a little pricey but I would eat here again.
