When I went, there was a long line that stretched through much of the block. They allow one group at a time into the shop for a fully curated Jamon Beurre experience. Yep, that is all you can get here. Ham sandwiches, but it's a much more involved experience than that. When you walk in, there is an entire wall with a cooler displaying every kind of ham possible. You have to pick whether you want cured or just baked ham. What region? They offer Italian, French, Spanish and then you have to narrow it down to the region! Then you do the same with the cheese. I ended up getting two sandwiches, the cured ham from Spain's basque country paired with Ossau-Iraty, or basque sheep milk cheese. My other sandwich was a French baked ham sandwich with comte. Which was the winner? I have to say, the cured meat from Spain was out of this world and in our taste test, was the top winner. I know, I shouldn't say that in France!

We had no idea what the menu said or what to get and the worker was so sweet and helped explain all of the options and what the favorites were. Small little shop, only allows 1 group at a time which honestly makes you feel like rushed/judged. We went with 2 types, one cooked and one curated meat and the one with Brie cheese and one with truffle cheese. Absolutely phenomenal and would recommend if youre in pairs!

To see what the locals eat, drink, do, etc. Decent size market, both indoors and outdoors. Not sure what the relationship is between the Aligre Market and Beauvau Covered Market, but because they are literally next to each other. I feel they were the same/similar market. So this review will reflect that. The products/produce are so fresh and flavorful. Ripe. Meats, seafood, flowers, etc. Everything is so fresh. There is even a "thrift" shop market here?!?! Ambiance - Decent size, both indoor and outdoor. Again, I am connecting the two markets. Service - Good. Price - Reasonable. Expect farmers market prices. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success.

I especially loved the prepared meat in the stall near the entrance (they have many prepared items to choose from--I ended up loving the duck foie gras and duck rillette). Also, people were helpful and willing to deal with my poor French :) As another reviewer mentioned, there aren't many (perhaps any) ready-to-way meals. But I wasn't looking for that, and I found the quality to be fantastic.

Their sandwiches are HUGE and are served on traditional Jewish brioche-like buns with poppy seeds and sautéed onions. Delish! This is a really a meat lovers spot, their pastrami and other sliced meats are the star of the show as well as their giant burgers. They have a very bustling restaurant that gets packed at lunch time but you can also order to go. On a recent visit to the hood, I ordered one 11€50 pastrami sandwich+soft+dessert combo and also picked up some of their fabulous roasted turkey and some homemade Shabbat meat patties for dinner that night. If you find yourself in this part of town definitely head to Chez Victor for a true taste of Jewish deliciousness!

No bread no sauce no mushrooms etc. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they said it's kosher style? You can't put sauce on a steak or piece of bread under it or mushrooms etc but you can put ketchup on the kids burger and load fries on the same plate. Even if it is Kosher and you can't cook it the proper way don't put it on the menu. We were also served raw chicken when we received it we sent it back and it looked like it was microwaved w the fries on the plate. Again the can wrap ham and cheese with chicken and fry it but no sauce or bread with my steak Do not go here to it . Unless you like bull...
