Obviously, part of the plan was to catch a (FIRST RUN) movie at this cool little vintage theater. That we did, and we were glad we did! Listen, if you're into small town nostalgia, this is the spot for you. If you're into seeing a movie in a comfortable theater, this spot is also for you. If you're into comfortable seats, good screen quality, good sound quality, and great popcorn, Bryan Theatre is for you! The seats, especially the recliners, are very comfortable, the movie screening experience is great, and even the popcorn was delicious! There was a little bit of noise from the adjoining theater, but it was not intrusive. Price? 16 bucks for two adults. Seems cheap. If, in order to enjoy a movie, you absolutely must have the latest and greatest movie viewing technology, then this might not be the place for you. I discovered this hidden gem and was excited to be able to do the pumpkin patches again with my kids. They have a large and small pumpkin patch that both my kids loved doing, fun, commentated wagon ride, smore making down by the river, great deal on pumpkins from the patch, putt putt, food truck, goats, and tons more activities. I also added the round trip kayaking which topped it off. The family was very involved and engaged with the visitors and super sweet. You can tell they truly enjoy sharing their farm with the community and seeing the happiness on faces. Now that I know about this place and all they offer, more trips are in store and can't wait to see what they add next year.

The river lends itself to those who want to take it easy or to those who want to do a quick trip down it. The scenery is beautiful; we have even seen an eagle on two of our trips!! And the sounds of nature are all around. I love that the company drives you up river and puts you in so that you never have to row against the current. And for those who wonder, the kayaks are ocean kayaks, which means it is hard to flip them....even if you try!!!

If you have any sort of pain issues, be prepared to never see a new release. They have two Dolby…read moreAtmos screens, and no one I know has enjoyed seeing a film there. People who have autoimmune disorders and other issues which cause pain found being in those seats to be extremely painful. Another person I know who went, and does not have those health issues, found the sound to be at a pitch which hurt her ears. Even with Spiderverse being on multiple screens, and it being passed the opening week, it is only playing on Atmos screens, so I can't see it. Not unless I want to be in extreme pain for 1-2 days afterward. If you're not going to a new release, aka able to avoid the Dolby Atmos, the seats and screens are very nice.
