This place was great and is easily our new favorite whenever we visit Solvang. The beer selection is fantastic, and we really enjoyed the hefeweizenhef and the blonde, with the hef being my personal favorite. The food did not disappoint either. The fries were great, the pretzel was good, and the cheese was decent. For our main meals, we got the kielbasa, which was pretty good, and the jalapeno cheese sausages with the rolls, which were also good. They also offer a wide variety of sauces to choose from. The atmosphere and setup are very welcoming. It is open seating with long tables, so there is a chance you might sit next to other people, which was completely fine with us. The tables were pretty clean when we went, and the staff is quite good at quickly clearing them up as soon as people get up. The price was not bad at all for what we received. We got two 16oz beers, two sausages, a pretzel, and fries all for around $50. We will definitely be back.

We love this place, they have a very good selection of food and drinks, we try a variety of sausages and the beer flies and they were just great. Also the place is huge for large parties, they are pretty fast in terms of serving the food, i thing everything we try was just delicious, also The staff is very helpful, maybe i will work in the cleaning of the areas bc it was trash on the floors and also the restrooms were a mess.

This is a great spot that has lots of outdoor seating. You walk up and order at the register and then grab whatever table is open. They give you a number and bring you your food. There are TVs outside. Food is good. We tried two different kinds of sausage and they were pretty tasty. They have all kinds of sauces and toppings. The condiment bar is honestly the most impressive thing. They have sauerkraut, jalapeños and pepperoncini. The beer is very cold. It's delicious. The only thing I didn't love was the pretzel. It was pretty dry. Not my favorite thing. If I go again, I would just do the sausage sampler. That's the best part.

Party of 3 eyes bigger than stomachs . Ordered charcuterie tray, onion rings, pretzel and sausage platter with cheddar jalapeño, andoulie, bratwurst and chicken apple sausage. All tasty We really liked the cranberry BBQ sauce. I didn't pick it but that's what my friend said it was. Tried the Radler for 1st very refreshing my new favorite summer drink.

Our first stop after checking into our Inn in Solvang was the Copenhagen Sausage Garden! It was on my husband's list of food places to try while in the area and I'm so glad we did. We ordered the Bavarian Pretzel that came with cheese sauce, the Sausage Sampler with Jalapeño Cheddar Bacon, Bratwurst, Kielbasa and Hot Italian plus a big beer and a cider! The pretzel was buttery, soft and paired well with the cheese sauce. I loved all of the sausages, but my favorite was the Bratwurst and Kielbasa - our daughter loved them as well. They offer a plethora of sauces to enjoy from Curry Ketchup to Honey Mustard plus they offer fresh Sauerkraut and other pickled items. They offer picnic tables outside under a shaded area which filled up very quickly. Staff were nothing special - but they were hustling to get the orders out as well as clearing off tables. Overall, we really enjoyed the Copenhagen Sausage Garden - we wanted to stop by one more time before heading home, but couldn't find the time. We will definitely come back next time we are in Solvang! Check them out!

Love their sampler options for both beer and sausage! Very good for the price too! Their pretzel was really soft and right amount of salt and their sauce was also a nice touch. My favorite aspect of this place is their sauce bar, so many sauces to choose from! It really felt like I was at a beer garden and food came out relatively fast which I appreciated. The only downside I would say is their customer service, it's not really good but the food was so good I would def come back!

Super casual eatery and solid share snack option. A bit pricey for sausages, but there's a good variety of sausages and sauces to choose from. Employee recommended some sausages favor. Order, get a number, and sit yourself. Picnic style seating, the order took about 10 minutes. Order the andouille, bockwurst, kielbasa, a Bavarian pretzel which totaled to $31.43. The sausages were juicy and not too salty, I think 2/3 of the sausage tasted the same lol, I couldn't really taste the difference. The Bavarian pretzel with cheese dip was delicious. Overall, very casual picnic style with unique flavors.

We stopped by Solvang for a quick day trip on our way down to LA from the Bay Area. We saw plenty of online buzz about Copenhagen Sausage Garden so we had to give it a try. We lined up right at opening coincidentally since we were already in the area. The line moved pretty quick, and took about 15 minutes for our food to come out. We got the sausage sampler -- letting us pick 4 sausages to try of their extensive list. We tried the jalapeño cheddar bacon, hot italian, bratwurst, and andouille. Our favorites were the brat and adouille, but their sauces are outstanding. They have so many to try and it was fun trying to find the best flavor pairings with each sausage. Delicious and cute stop on our quick weekend trip! Would recommend! Unrelated, but the downtown bakeries, restaurants, and attractions are all within an about a mile or two radius making everything easily accessible by foot and really easy to try a bunch of things.

Loved this place in Solvang! It was on our list to try while in town and we are so happy we did. We tried the 4 day adage sampler with the bratwurst, curry wurst, jalepeno cheddar, and keilbasa sausages. On the side we ordered the potato salad, the single pretzel, and 1 bun. We loved being able to try different sauces with the sausages. Each sausage was very moist and juicy. To our surprise, the pretzel was also so delicious. Everything paired very well together.

I feel a little entitled writing this, but also feel like my order was literally the easiest one to complete and shouldn't have taken as long as it did. I ordered 4 frozen sausages and had to wait 10 min. to receive them in their to-go boxes. To their defense it was a busy Saturday, BUT how difficult is it to see an order of 4 frozen sausages, take them out the fridge, put them in the box and walk 3 steps out the door of the kitchen where I was waiting? As someone who has worked in the food industry before, this would've been a ticket I got rid of easily. In the end, I paid just over $32 for the four sausages.

I decided to get a Bockwurst, so I could get one of the more unique ones, and I enjoyed it! It had nice seasoning overall. I loved that they had a mustard bar, where you could try different mustards on your sausages. I'm not even a mustard fan, and thought they were good. The ambiance is very relaxing, as it's located outdoors, and there's ample seating. The food came out pretty quickly as well, considering it was pretty busy.

I've been to Solvang numerous times through the years and haven't been here before. I visited Copenhagen during the Christmas holidays, and there was a long line. Luckily, the line moved quickly, and my family and I found a great spot to sit down and enjoy our drinks and meal. This restaurant is more laid back, and you order your food at the register, and they give you a number to place in your table. The tables are all outdoors. They have picnic-style tables. Our food and drinks were out quickly. We had a sampler of 4 different sausages, hot dog buns, and fries. My favorite sausage was the cheddar bacon one. My kids loved it and thought it was a fun experience trying different sausages. My husband had a beer flight. He liked all their beers. I had a pear cider. I'm not much of a beer drinker, and I'm glad they had it. We had a great time, and hopefully, we can come back soon.

    My C.

Love Copenhagen Sausages! We love the sampler plate. To be honest, we forgot which ones we ordered but all of them were good. I love their pretzel and variety of sauces available. We tried their pear beer and it was delicious! You order first before you're seated. It was pretty easy to find a spot amd people are normally very friendly with sharing their tables. Service is fast. Sometimes the line is super long though!

I could be wrong, but my first thought was that they were Field Roast sausages, or at least very similar to them, which use vital wheat gluten and has no casing. Whatever they use, it's delicious!

Are any of your sausages (meat) gluten free? Thank you.

Hello, yes all of the sausages are gluten-free and can even be paired with a gluten free roll for sausages, or bun for the burgers offered as well.

Do you have any vegan options?

Two vegan, plant-based sausages are offered that are separated from any non-vegan products, try the Mexican Chipotle if you're in the mood for some spice!

Do the rolls/buns for the sausages and the Barvarian pretzel have any dairy or egg my son has a diary and egg allergy?

I honestly don't think they skip the dairy on pretzel. It was really good though

Do they allow dogs in outdoor patio?

Absolutely! We are very dog friendly.

Are the Vegan Sausages Also Gluten Free? Is the Gluten free bread Vegan?

Hi! Yes our Vegan Sausages are gluten free, but the gluten free bread is unfortunately not vegan. Our pretzels are vegan friendly as well.

Are they open for dine-in now (06/02)?

Yes the patio area was open for dine-in.

This place is non-descript yet just off the main park downtown, and an easy walk from most of the major hotels in town, or the central parking lot - plus lots of street parking as well. It seems rather small, with one area for bar seating and small tables, plus a larger dining area "next door" to the bar, but I like the bar ambiance, so it may be challenging on busy tourist days. Luckily, I travel on non-busy days and have always had a good seat. The ambiance is great, with a typical, colorfully decorated pub feel with TVs offering an invitation to relax and have a pint - or two! The menu is varied, and I had planned for what I wanted, but when the server/bartender/boss offered the daily special as an option, I quickly jumped at the chance. The special was a queso dip with house-made chips, and I had to try it! Sadly, I also ordered my usual, the Cobb salad. Sadly, because after the "appetizer" arrived, I quickly realized the full consequences of the saying "your eyes are bigger than your stomach!" The dip and chips were plentiful in both, and for me would have made a great meal on their own. But I was committed and managed to finish the salad.
