Very popular spot in Lake Havasu City and the reason is the amazing whiskey they are putting out! The moonshine and vodka are great too but the whiskey is phenomenal! Raw Dog will always be one of our favorites and we'll be looking for it everywhere we go! The distillery portion isn't open for tours yet as they just expanded but hopefully soon and we'll definitely return for it! We weren't aware that Wednesday is reservations only but happily they let us grab a seat at the bar! The place was packed and still, service was great, friendly and when it slowed down we finally got a chance to chat with everyone and learn more about the spirits and the history. The atmosphere is more lively like a brewery with plenty of seating, even for larger groups. It's definitely the #1 hang out spot in town and should not be missed! read more

Me and my daughter went here to check it out on our vacation. The place was very cute. There was a wall of badges that really struck my interest. It was from law-enforcement and military. My hubby and I finally had the opportunity to come in today after learning about the distillery at the local Sunday swap meet weeks ago. We sampled a flight of two whiskeys and two moonshines along with ordering a pizza and sharing a bratwurst. I really enjoyed the Honey Doo Moonshine and the Peach Whiskey! I was born and raised in West Virginia.....so if you ever make a nice Blackberry or Apple Pie shine let me know! The distillery is small and has a more intimate atmosphere than a rowdy party place but that suits us just fine! My husband and I are both Navy Veterans and we enjoyed a more cozy and relaxed environment. We really appreciate that the distillery does a Pay It Forward board to show their support for military and first responders! For $8.00 added to your bill you can purchase a future drink for someone who served in the different branches including the Coast Guard, Police and Fire and judging by the tick marks on the board...there is a gracious amount of community support! Over the years, I've limited my 5 star ratings to only the best of the best. Well, this is one of those 5 star ratings! We were intrigued after meeting the owner off site. Headed over to Copper Still Distillery to see what it was all about and so happy we did! As you walk up, notice the front porch like outdoor seating. Covered and plenty of room. As you enter, (think speak easy) you are greeted by welcoming staff. Your mind goes to "oh my, what have we just found" as you take it all in. The bar and seating area are quaint, plenty of room to get around. We loved the decor and atmosphere. Our waitstaff was incredible, she was so excited to share everything about Copper Still, great suggestions, etc. I ordered the Pickle Bloody Mary. It was the smoothest Bloody I've ever had. Topped off with all the goodies, I ate the muffin before I took my picture! But, I think this is more important. My hubs doesn't drink. However, he felt comfortable, no pressure (actually compassion for his life choice) in this cool vibe establishment. We had great conversation with the owner, they are rebuilding clientele as they once considered retirement. They have food on (Taco Wednesday). Popcorn and pretzels were offered and cigars are welcome on the patios. Bottles of their distilled creations and pickles are available for purchase. While visiting Lake Havasu for the annual Winterfest, we came across a vendor advertising the Cooper Still Distillery. After talking with him we decided to give it a go. What a great place. Tucked away in a corner of what looks to be an industrial park, we would've driven right past it. Friendly, patient & knowledgeable staff talk you through their extensive menu of drinks. We bought a " flight" to taste several of their products & I really enjoyed the Root Bear Whiskey, but, also liked the Pecan, while the Mrs was leaning towards their Espresso vodka. A difficult decision was made & we bought a bottle of each. Their drink menu is very large, but the food menu is limited to a variety of self-serve hot dogs. We LOVE copper still! The Dutch Apple is probably the best whisky I have ever tasted. Andy and his wife are great hosts and have made some incredible drinks. The service is always friendly and prompt. You won't want to have an empty glass! With MANY flavors of assorted alcohols, you are able to try a small sip prior to ordering. The inside has a rustic vibe and can accommodate a group but with high ceilings which really open up the bar. We always end up leaving with a case to take home. They make some of the best liquor around. The husband and wife are very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. My two favorites are their Cucumber Vodka and Peanut Butter Whiskey. The vodka is great in homemade Bloody Mary's or mixed with flavored seltzers like Watermelon or Lime. The whiskey is not like any other on the market. Ended up going with peanut butter whiskey, raw dog (regular whiskey), sweet tea vodka and cucumber vodka. The bottles didn't last long since being home lol. The bartender was really nice. Her and her husband are the owners of the business. She explained to us that she uses natural flavors so there would be sediment in the bottles which is normal. We visited this place with two other couples. We found it located in the corner of an industrial complex as other reviewers had stated. My first thoughts on the place is it was going to be a small simple place with a front patio to enjoy a drink on. Once I walked through the door that changed rapidly. The first area was called the porch and was very inviting and looked like a great place to sit back and enjoy a drink with a good friend. I continued deeper into the business and was amazed by what I saw walking into the main bar. So much to see and take in. I really liked the blue line flag and wall of patches. We were greeted by the friendly staff and they moved two more chairs over to our table so the six of us could sit together. We were given menus and water. Looking over the drink menu I decided to go with a flight but knew it was going to be a tough choice on narrowing it down because of all the interesting things to choose from. The flight was great and the root beer flavored one was my favorite. A chocolate drink they had advertised got my attention and I knew I had to try it. The bar area is open and I could see her making my drink. I was amazed at how much effort and time she put into my drink and all the care she took while making it. This drink was an absolute work of art when it arrived not to mention tasty! All six of us became fans and enjoyed our visit here and the drinks. We had a group of 10, 8 who had never been there, really enjoy the experience. We walked in and had a private table set for us. The service was excellent, everyone raved about how good the drinks/tasters were. The mix of drinks had us all talking and comparing. We went in on a Sunday at 2pm and did tasting flights. I've heard about their liquor and have been wanting to try it. $10 for 4 half pours is a great deal, and we liked most of the ones we tried (you can see the picture for what we tried. The cafe vodka was bad, but everything else was either pretty good or great). I'm giving 2 starts because if you just want to try some of their liquors and buy a bottle it's definitely worth your while. Why not more stars? The vibe man, the vibe is off. There was 1 table with people in it and a couple regulars at the bar and 2 bartenders. The place was dead, the music was low so it was quiet. If you're older or super republican maybe you'll be more comfortable getting riled up with "let's go Brandon" (also the name of one of their whiskys) and complaining about athletes who kneel (there's a sign in the ladies room that they will not play any sports where athletes kneel because it's disrespectful to the military and first responders, but from a family of military and police officers we have never missed a football game and all have told me they fight for others' right to kneel and appreciate when people take advantage of the freedoms they fight for so I find this line of reasoning performative and exhausting). And to top it off there's no service and they wouldn't share their wifi password so we had to walk to the end of the complex and wait in the heat for our Uber. read more

Interesting place in an industrial area. Cute decor, good service, tall tables, lots of distilled spirits to choose from. They also have beer and wine (small varieties) to pick from. There is an outdoor area but seemed dedicated to smokers. The server did a great job. I didn't get her name. Prices seemed reasonable. We just had a glass of wine. They sell hotdogs for 1.50 which included lots of toppings to choose to load up your hotdog. It was a warm day and it got warm inside. They did have doors open in the back which was the sunny side of the building. In the front they have a few tables and chairs but again there were people smoking away. They have whiskey, moonshine and vodka distilled on premises. I had the moonshine flight. I chose to try the Honey Doo, Rootbeer, Cinnamon and Cherry. Excellent little gem of a distillery. I ordered a flight of their whiskeys and was not disappointed. I bought three bottles of their Pecan Whiskey as gifts for friends. I didn't sample their bourbons as I don't care for bourbon, but if it's anything like their whiskeys you won't be disappointed. This place is just beyond perfect, in every way! Never judge a book by its cover. This hidden gem, in an industrial area, looks small when you approach it and begin to park. They have a cute sign out front and decent, patio seating . Once indoors, you encounter a tiny, private space and then venture into the larger tasting room. The private space has a few intimate seating areas for 1-2 people and has this cabin-like feel to it. A game of checkers awaits you if you'd like or just fall in love with the warm glow of the amber lighting, rug, and surroundings. The vibe in the larger room is rustic, inviting, and the decor equally appealing. There are plenty of places to sit inside and there's also a back patio for additional guests. They sell some cool merch, too! The menu of libations is quite extensive. Pretty sure you'll have a hard time deciding on which to indulge in first! We were welcomed by our bartender/server Brandy. What an adorable, personable, knowlegeable employee, who later we learned was once a proud customer herself. She directed us to some popular favorites, offered us some freshly made popcorn, and took two police patches my boyfriend had brought in to add to their wall. They have an assortment of police, fire, and other first responder patches and memorabilia to appreciate all different levels of service. If someone wishes to contribute $8, anyone amongst those services can cash in for a complimentary drink of their choice. How respectful is that?! It includes both active and retired individuals. My boyfriend chose the Peach Fuzz Mojito and I selected the Paradise. Both drinks had a nice presentation to them and tasted fantastic! I even ordered the Mojito for my second drink and my love chose a chocolate cherry covered martini. It too, was just out of this world! They offer an annual membership where you can get a copper mug hung on the wall with your name labeled nearby. It then entitles you to any drink at $1.00 off. This includes during happy hour and I believe Andy stated it was an additional discount on top of that. Andy was one of the owners we had the pleasure of meeting. Just a fabulous, down-to-earth guy with a true passion for making whiskey and other liquors that'll woo you for good. He's already running out of space inside, after being open just a couple of years. His expansion and distribution plans, can't help but make you feel like you want to see him, his family, and team succeed. The room also had a Jenga and Connect Four game. The larger-sized ones that you'd see in a backyard or event. A great mix of music was playing, but we eyed the neat jukebox as well. Great drinks... The menu is ginormous and will please everyone. Prices are super affordable for a distillery that makes fancy drinks. I had the PB banana cream martini and the chocolate coco martini; my boyfriend had the front porch and a regular Moscow mule. I enjoyed my drinks but he didn't taste any sort of alcohol in his and said the cocktails he had were in the sweeter side (which he didn't like). This hidden gem is located in an industrial area. As soon as you walk in, you go back in time. The decoration, music and vibe takes you back to the moonshine days in a very relaxing rustic atmosphere. Immediately we where greeted by our waitress and was provided with a drink menu and specials of the day. Here are the drinks I tried: "Try a flight" which consisted of 4 small samples of their famous moonshine. My 2 favorite consisted of the root beer moonshine and lake lemonade moonshine. "The coop" was bursting with mouthwatering flavors. It consisted of lake lemonade moonshine, pomegranate, sprite, blueberries and lemonade. If you like something in between sweet and sour than this is your drink. The "chiller" was probably my favorite. It was sour with a hint of sweetness which consisted of their special cherry bomber moonshine, sprite and fresh squeezed lime. If you like sour drinks with a twist of fruit punch this is your drink! The owners (husband and wife) are very sweet and humble. We had an opportunity to chat with them and they are very passionate and dedicated to their distillery and it shows in the quality of their vodka, moonshine and specialty mixed drinks. Why argue with an older customer and at least be welcoming!!! We walked out because she was just too negative and went to Nikkos where the girls are always nice and have the "yes" attitude!!
