Weeks later I verified with both businesses that nothing had been paid for/ordered. He then abandoned my project and left my house in complete shambles, including exposed wiring, tore off all my gutters & downspouts, removed exterior wall sheeting, etc. In addition to the legal action my attorney is taking, I have a formal complaint filed with the Secretary of State of ND--his license will soon be revoked.

I proceeded to ask him about other services he has to offer and found that all home needs could be met in one company. Coming from an elderly woman, It is hard to find someone that is as trustworthy and honest as Preferred Services LLC here in Williston ND. I was a bit hesitant to proceed with further work due to the fact that I have been burnt in the past by contractors regardless of the fact I was more than thrilled with how my carpets turned out. They assured me that they where not to take advantage of me and was here to help. So much infact they walked me through every step and how to protect myself from being taken advantage of by contractors. Infact Travis came over on his own time and placed trim around my door free of charge. I tried to pay him but he refused. When I asked why he said I had already paid for it. They showed up early and did an exquisite job putting up my siding. I will be calling them back to help me with more work. Black Diamond…read moreSolutions (Built by black diamond), signed a contract, accepted 50% deposit on a project, then abandoned the contract by failing to complete the agreed upon project. The builder ordered the incorrect size trusses and would not replace them, even after numerous attempts to get the builder to rectify the error. Eventually communication stopped and there was no effort made on the builders part to resolve the situation or return funds. Due to the lack of performance and abandonment o the contract, I have reported Black Diamond Solutions the the North Dakota State Attorney, in an effort to regain funds from the project or have the builders license revoked. This situation has caused significant delays, stress and additional costs to move forward. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to use caution before hiring Black Diamond Solutions.
