As super lovely and relaxing vibe. They have a counter that says "Order Here" but there was one other table who ordered at their table and received the check at the end of their meal like regular table service. They offer a guest WiFi network, but definitely would not recommend taking any meetings or calls from this space; it's definitely not that kind of cafe! Food (5/5): I ordered the French Classic, which is egg, cheddar, and ham. It was SO delicious and generously portioned. I honestly didn't expect to feel so full, especially since this crepe wasn't as filled as some of the other ones on the menu, but wow! The crepe itself has a very lovely flavor and well complimented by the thin layer of egg inside. (Sidenote: I've gone back another time since I started writing this review, this time trying the 9am and the Lean Machine crepes. Both tasty and generous with the fillings, but I think the French Classic is still my favorite among the three. You get to taste the crepe itself more, and it's really good!) I knew that was a lot of people to come in all at once and I did not want to overwhelm her or the ones helping her make crepes that day. She was very accommodating and said that she would make sure that there were 2 crêpe makers there to be able to handle the group. We explained that we were doing a Flash Mob Dance at the Lighthouse down the street and could not get to her restaurant until a little after 1 o'clock. ( Yes I wrote a review for the Fairport Harbor Lighthouse and Museum that talks about what happened !). Since she usually closes at 2 o'clock on Saturdays, she said she would close to the public at 2pm..., but leave the restaurant open for one more hour so that we could all be there together and visit with each other! Now that is good Customer Service! The two girls that were making the crêpes did a great job! Everyone loved the crêpes and the cozy cute vibe. Many that were in our group had never been to this restaurant before - so we were happy to introduce them to this super cute restaurant in Fairport Harbor! I ventured out within a couple of hours of viewing to experience Le crepe on Washington Avenue in downtown Royal Oak. I was greeted upon entering while my 2-high top table was arranged. The ambiance and vibe in this small space was extremely relaxing and the staff friendly. Tiekeya, the owner, was helpful when I explained that it was my first time. My server was her niece, a young lady with a tremendous smile who shared she was a student at MSU as I was wearing a pullover displaying her Alma mater that I know well from paying so much tuition over several years for my children. I started with an enjoyable vanilla cappuccino which was prepared to my liking. I did not feel rushed at all, but the service was attentive and consistent throughout my dining experience. The restaurant was quite popular on this morning and I heard others mentioning the segment on the news. It was funny, as I was texting a couple of friends (foodies) from work who were very curious to hear about my experience. I was sharing quickly upon sitting down as this was a nice treat. I reviewed the menu which had several unique choices and I decided to order The Green Goat which was a crepe containing pan-seared chicken, bacon, Granny Smith apples, and caramelized onions with goat cheese and a little arugula. The combination of flavors was delicious in every aspect! Wow! As wonderful as my main course was, the sweet crepe favorites were even tastier. I chose the Cinnamon Sweet Cheese with bananas which included a crepe containing the bananas and a house cinnamon cream cheese icing that was fantastic! Thanks again to Fox 2 News as I will gladly make the 24 minute drive to enjoy this experience again. I also was thrilled to meet Chef Dennis in the kitchen who I had seen on the news. On day #2, I was really struggling to decide which crepe to try from so many descriptive choices on the menu. I chose the James Dean which was also fantastic once again. It was a delicious combination of flavors of scrambled eggs, a slightly spicy homemade sausage that was a perfect complement, and red skin potatoes with a cherry sauce drizzle. It is wonderful to meet such a kind business owner and it was refreshing to experience the staff interaction and she shared that I have now become one of her "regulars". The pierogi came in styrofoam to go containers. The onion was well fried, maybe a bit too fried, still not a bad accompaniment to the pierogi. I can only speak for mine but I thought my Hawaiian crepe had a generous serving of ham and pineapple inside and the pineapple sauce was chunky and slightly spicy! For the two of us, my bf paid about $45. So the crepes were great but I'd like to mention a few things that bumped this down to just a 4 star experience. The limited time drinks didn't have the prices listed on their special menu. I think that, if they read this review, they should write the prices next to all items they offer.
