Not a bad stay for the price! We stayed here for three days and two nights. Our room was clean, safe and right on the beach. It was free to park and they have a lot of amenities. A bowling alley, arcade, indoor pool, out door pool, gym and more! We used the store twice and ate dinner at the splash pad. I would stay again but they have really thin towels. You need your room key to do everything! I like how they send you text messages to keep you inform with what's happening on the resort. They had karaoke night and live music. I ordered a mixed drink and it was $17. There was a lot of people staying here but everyone was nice and night it was chilled and quiet. read more

(Coral Beach Resort Myrtle Beach) I usually never review anything but I am putting this out there so the next family doesn't go through the same thing. At the rate of $260-$280 a night for a 2 queen suite. We had an extremely disappointing experience during our spring break trip and ended up leaving shortly after arriving. We chose this resort because it was rated high for children. To start, check-in took nearly an hour, which was frustrating after traveling. Parking was another major issue--there was no availability, and because we have a larger vehicle, we were told that if it didn't fit in the garage, we'd have to rely on metered street parking for our entire stay. That's completely unreasonable for a hotel/resort. When we finally made it to our room on the first floor, the hallway smelled strongly of weed and urine. Unfortunately, it only got worse from there. As soon as we opened the door to our room, we were hit with a strong stale odor of mold, mildew, and cigarette smoke. The only positive thing about the room was its size. Everything else was unacceptable. There were broken items, stains, and visible dirt throughout. Within minutes, my toddler picked up an earring and a loose screw off the floor--clearly indicating the room had not been properly cleaned. There was grime on the walls, doors, and floors, trash shoved under the couch, candy left on the floor between the bed and nightstand, and buildup of debris between the headboard and mattress along with a nasty yellow substance that looked like it had not been dealt with. Mold in the bathroom and the ceiling tiles were beat up. The worst part was the smell and air quality--our entire family started coughing within 10 minutes of being in the room. At that point, we didn't feel comfortable staying another minute. We didn't even bother checking out the rest of the resort--the condition of the room and the check-in experience were enough for us to leave. The advertised photos of this resort are far from what it looks like in person. I would not recommend staying here. read more

Great location for this hotel! Walkable to some attractions and pretty close to broadway on the beach as well as the boardwalk. The big pool was the main reason we booked this hotel - it was really nice! The kiddie pool area needed some attention - kind of old. The room itself wasn't the best. Bathroom could've been more clean and the door to the patio would get stuck and had no handle from the outside, locking anyone out if they shut the door! We just left it cracked. We went to go to bowling because the website listed it as an "amenity" yet it was like $20 per person even though we were staying at the hotel and thought it was included. We did not bowl. The food from the bowling area was ok. Just needs some cleaning and updating, and if they list bowling as an amenity like the pool, it should be included just like the pool doesn't cost extra to access. read more

Where to start with this one. We came here for bike week. We wanted a hotel that had a hot tub that didn't break the bank but wasn't so cheap that the wild and unmannered crowd would be there taking over the pool and actin' a fool. However, at $260 a night the crowd was not what I would have expected. Kids were definitely using the hot tubs as a kiddie pool diving in with swimmies and you know they peed in there. It was the same circus at the pools that you would get with an $80/night hotel in Myrtle. Not what I'd expect from a resort. Check-in was pretty awful, one of the worst I've had anywhere. Soooo many forms to fill out. And they wouldn't let us complete check in until they had all of the adult IDs. My girlfriend was out unpacking her bike and I had to go get here to check in. They had told us they had special bike only parking for bike week but it was full of cars both days. We had to leave the bikes out in the elements because they didn't enforce this, see attached photo. They do charge a "resort" fee although I don't see how this could really be called a resort. Our room was fine and that's why I give it 2 stars instead of 1. It was big, it was clean, it had everything we needed. We had a "partial ocean view" which means we could see the ocean from the balcony but we weren't ocean front. I went to the bar to see what they had to drink, big menu, no prices. I asked how much and the bartender didn't know...how can you not know? I ended up making them look up the prices and they were about $17 a drink. A bit steep and probably why the bar was empty. They have a gift shop that sells alcoholic drinks by the can, this is the way to go. Since this is a "resort" breakfast is not included and will cost you about $20 per person which isn't great for cheap hotel breakfast food. We opted to go to the Golden Egg down in Surfside Beach and it was freaking amazing and cheaper than eating here. At the prices for this place, breakfast should be included but it seems that they just call it a "resort" and then charge a bunch for everything. Kind of shocked they don't charge for wifi. Anyways, we probably won't ever stay here again. Not the greatest amenities or experience. read more

It breaks my heart to give Coral Beach Resort a one-star review. We've been coming here pretty consistently for the past four years. Usually, we visit during the off-season, but this time we decided to come during early spring. That meant we finally got to use the lazy river and experience the resort at its "full potential." If you're going to book this hotel, do it during the off-season, and make absolutely sure you get the bowling and breakfast vouchers. You won't find cheaper breakfast or bowling anywhere in Myrtle Beach... and honestly, the breakfast alone easily covers the upcharge. The voucher gets you an entrée per guest, usually with a side and either toast or a biscuit. The portions are generous enough to leave you satisfied and full until lunchtime. My personal favorite is the Garden Omelet. It's fresh, filling, and easily the highlight of the morning. Plus, having bowling right on-site is a lifesaver on rainy days or when the pools get too chaotic to enjoy. Let me get the formalities out of the way: if this is all you can afford, it's easy to see why it's considered a winner. But if you're able to spend a little more on your health, I'd recommend going somewhere else. After this trip, I know we're going to have to seriously reevaluate our choice of resorts. The indoor pool was great in theory, but it was always cloudy, which is a huge red flag for filtration issues. Cloudy pools like this harbor bacteria, and this time around, there were tons of hairs and even scabs floating in the water. I was downright horrified. The towels they left for us in the room were all stained. Sure, you'll see the usual complaints about the thin towels in other reviews, but this time? They had skid marks. Like seriously, did I just not notice before!? The lazy river? It was okay at best. The jets were tired, the tubes were tiny, and floating around in there was an active activity, not the relaxing drift you'd expect. The hot tubs were filthy... not just from lack of cleaning, but from the guests. Countless kids (12 and under) were splashing around, but the worst offenders were the adults dragging their babies, in Huggies, straight into the 100-degree water. I'm still recovering from the trauma. I'll be forever scarred by the sight of babies smiling at me, unloading their bladders into the very water I was supposed to be relaxing in. Nothing says "vacation" like locking eyes with a toddler mid-bladder release in a place you paid hundreds of dollars to enjoy. Again, credit where it's due: the bowling alley is 100% worth it. Good food, okay-ish service. and honestly, it's a bowling alley. You either like it or you don't. As for the convenience store, it used to be ridiculously overpriced, but these days, the prices aren't actually that bad. That probably says something about the state of the world, but whatever, I'm just here trying to review a resort I used to swear by. The on site restaurant's breakfast was the best part of our stay here. The room's furniture was so uncomfortable! I was hurting so bad after trying to sleep on that bed! If you just were released from Prison or you are on Food Stamps it's possible this place may suit you; but it's really really bad. A raddison in Englewood would be more comfortable. One of only two hotels in Myrtle Beach that have a bowling alley. Great for a winter weekend getaway, have stayed multiple times and always pleased overall. Milkshakes in the little grill at their entertainment center were delicious, though a bit pricy at over $8 after taxes and fee- BUT worth the convenience cost when you don't want to get in the car and drive! Wish they'd keep the outdoor hot tub open in the winter but the other indoor water amenities are very nice!. Breakfast is tasty and efficient, beautiful decor in the restaurant, recommend the breakfast and bowling package to get your money's worth. Only real complaints: bowling alley doesn't allow personal balls which is pretty unusual, and time spent on our oceanfront balcony was limited due to so much cigarette and marijuana smoking by one or more neighboring rooms. read more

I have always really loved coming here every year but now not so much. You have to keycard everywhere you go which is a HUGE hassle when your arms are full with beach/pool stuff. The carpets were cleaned DURING our stay. And the worst, there are no more late check-outs. I stayed here one night , October 7 to October 8 , 2021 . I wish I would have just stayed here the entire time . I came to the Carolinas to see my niece get married in Maggie Valley , NC and also to look at some condos here in Myrtle Beach to possibly buy and rent out . I liked this one the best of the Condotels , but the HOA is so much I just can't see buying and also paying for management and cleaning . I wouldn't be left with much profit . I stayed at 2 other hotels and they were horrible ! You will always read about reasons people didn't like a place , but some are not just complaining about the little stuff . I stayed in Room 1148 which came with a kitchen , two queen beds , and a balcony with a view of the ocean and the boulevard . I liked the mixed view . The room was properly cleaned and the bed was comfortable . The kitchen even had plates , glasses , and utensils . When I was a kid we always rented beach houses in Cherry Grove and they also came with everything to cook with . The staff was very nice and I had a good conversation with the front desk clerk about the property . The bartender outside was nice too . At night they had a DJ / Karaoke person that was entertaining and the people were having a good time at the outside bar . I felt very safe here also . I walked the beach at night for a little while and it was so nice . The property has lots of pools inside and out , jacuzzis , lazy river , kids pool with the submarine and dump pails , arcade , bowling alley , computer station with internet if you didn't bring your laptop , restaurant , plenty of parking , nice lobby , just all around a nice property . I definitely recommend staying here . I work at a 5 Diamond Hotel in Las Vegas , but was raised in the Carolinas so I know I'm not getting a place like that in Myrtle Beach . Most places are old and remodels are done cheaply and of course the salt in the air makes things rust and we all know that the Carolinas have those big water bugs . I didn't see any water bugs in my room and thank goodness I didn't have any bed bugs . I always check the mattress to see if there is any signs of them at any hotel I stay at . I know bed bugs are becoming a problem again , especially in Myrtle Beach for some reason . Everything in my room seemed to be in pretty new condition and the air conditioner worked great and wasn't loud to keep me awake that night . Of all the hotels I have stayed at in Myrtle Beach over the years , I would say this one is the best and the most like a real resort . Nobody is perfect , but they are pretty close . One of the other places I stayed at for 2 nights this week had good reviews and nice pictures and was another condotel I was looking at buying was awful ! My room smelled of clorox and sand everywhere , TV had to be replaced , all kinds of problems and they couldn't change me to another room because it was full . They had a cool water slide with freezing cold water also ! Definitely not going back to that place again ! read more

We stayed in the fall for a short stay, and all was well. We stayed for several weeks this spring and saw another side of things. We have a unit we purchased in the building that was not managed properly by onsite property management, who takes a portion of the revenue to "maintain and clean" the units. We had to deep clean our unit, request minor maintenance, and do some ourselves to get it ready to sell. We will be managing it ourselves until it sells so that we know it is properly cleaned and maintained. We have several units in different resorts on the ocean very close to each other, and the one we have been managing has received great reviews. We have partnered with a fantastic on the ground crew, A2Z that cleans, rents the linens and towels, and does minor maintenance. We are confident our unit will be pristine and well maintained. 3* for the property being kept immaculately in the general areas. The front desk staff and housekeeping are very friendly and helpful. The bowling alley is far more expensive than the lanes down the road, the restaurant is only open for breakfast, and the bar gets food from the bowling alley, which closes at 8 p.m. Other than having fantastic and very clean water amenities and the beach area (this resort is one of few we have seen actually cleaning the beach area every day), the rooms are also nice. read more

The room was ready and very clean. The king size suite was very comfortable, with a full kitchen, a living room directly at the ocean front balcony. In room safe and microwave & coffee pot. The living also had a full size Murphy bed (folds down from wall). We enjoyed all the pools, indoor & outdoor jacuzzi & lazy river. They had kiddie pool and separate kiddie pool play area. Pool side bar. They have a game room & bowling alley, gift shop and restaurant. We even got a room credit to use on the premises. The staff were very friendly and super pleasant considering how busy it was. Parking was free. read more

This place was all what I expected. When spending money on a resort, I research research and research. I want to make sure I get my money's worth and enjoy my vacation. I was a little skeptical about staying here. we stayed at Coral Beach about 15 years ago and we enjoyed it thoroughly. And we enjoyed it again as well. Price was right, yes you can stay at more updated places for double the price, but this place is in no way horrible as some have written. Some of the room has been updated with bedding and rugs as well as Kitchen. The front room facing the ocean was older furniture but was still in great shape. It was comfy and the kitchen was perfect for breakfast and lunch. Even dinner would have been good in the room to save money. Balcony was my favorite place, Sunrise Breakfast and enjoying the ocean. The pools were wonderful to relax and swimming to cool off we spent each day at the pools even our last day. You could order food and drinks in the pool area. Staff was always friendly and willing to help us when we had questions. At night, there was music and karaoke at the bar. Great way to unwind. Safety some people brought this up, I never felt unsafe you needed a key to get into the areas: Pool, bowling area, etc. Maybe a suggestion, to have elevators Key accessible to make everyone feel even safer. Had a great time here last year for spring break and loved it so much that we came back this year!

Resort was fantastic! My three person family had an oceanfront family suite for four nights, and the only thing we didn't like was the issues with hot water (aka there is barely any hot water). Being as it's off-season, we had the bowling alley to ourselves and the pool almost to ourselves. The indoor pool and jacuzzis were great. Loved the beach access via the pool area as we were able to easily access the beach for shell hunting. The best part for us was the Murphy bed in the back room. That happy find allowed for each one of us to have our own bed. I especially loved it as I'm the one that took the Murphy bed specifically so that I could hear the waves all night. read more

So after spending a great week in Myrtle Beach I feel compelled to tell you about the experience I had at this resort. First off we opted when we arrived to not have house keeping service and to call when we needed towels exchanged. We called Friday morning and told the. We needed towels. They delivered towels and took the dirty ones. We left for lunch to find that while we were gone they still entered our room even after we requested they didn't. Strike 1 The we return to the hotel around midnight to find that half the parking had been comes off and there was no parking. We drove through the parking garage and still no parking. So we go into the front desk and ask why that there is all the stops blocked and not accessible? The answer we were given was that they were saving those spots for the bike guests and for extended late arrivals. Really. Why do bikes or people checking in late take priority over other paying guest? Why do they even think that is an answer? The front desk clerk was rude and unhelpful. Regardless of the rate, the location or the room. Rude people don't deserve my business. And I would hate to recommend this joint to someone who is likely to receive the same treatment. read more

Stay here a week, and have little to no complaints! The biggest issue I had was trying to book an additional night at the beginning of our week. It was going to cost an additional $210, and had a two night minimum, which didn't really make sense because we were already booked for a week. We would have to make the reservation, check in, check out, and check in again. Needless to stay we went somewhere else for the first night. This hotel does, however, have everything. Amazing views, attentive/friendly staff, beautiful views, good food and drinks, multiple pools, and walking distance to the beach. I'd stay again! The only thing that made me really nervous were the crowded elevators. Some of us are still in COVID mode, and practically no one wears masks or practices social distancing. (I definitely wouldn't get in the pool. Kids running amuck taking mouth fulls of water and spitting it out. no no no!) read more

We were very pleased with our stay. The room was clean, didnt feel muggy or feel like their was moisture. We had a king room and it was very spacious. The only qualm I had was the bathroom wasn't very ventilated. If the door was shut it would get very hot in there even with the fan on. So unless we were using the bathroom we left the door open. We had the breakfast buffet package for 2 days. The buffet was wonderful and delicious with a lot of options. The pool area was always busy, but that's to be expected. However they maintained a clean pool area. Pool bar/restaurant was awesome as well. We enjoyed drinks and some food there. They also had nightly entertainment at the pool bar area. Weather depending. It rained our one night so I don't think they had the entertainment. Some nights it karaoke, dance party, or a live group that does a mix of everything. The adult only lounge was nice, and a good little getaway if you had kids and needed to go grab a drink. You could also take the drink with you if you didn't want to stay and drink it. They also offered food from the 4th where the bowling alley was. Not an extensive or high end but good if you needed a small bite. The other amenities such as the store, fitness center, and coffee shop were all great to have as well. The store has a little bit of everything as far as food, drink, and beach supplies. Coffee shop was perfect for the coffee lovers Also I noticed they had restrooms located on the lobby, the pool level, the 4th and 6th floor and were all kept very clean. Also they automatically add gratuity to all food and beverage purchases. Which didn't bother me, but it may bother others. The service was 5 start. Everyone who worked there was so kind, courteous and helpful. I really appreciated their staff there. Truly top notch efforts by all. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was mainly the bathroom situation in the room. Other than that I would definitely go back again for another relaxing trip! read more

This resort is beachfront Myrtle. There is plenty of parking. There is no seating in front of the building or the tiny lobby - an obvious attempt to keep the flow moving but annoying if you are waiting for a ride. The property is pretty well maintained. The walls are printed and the flooring scuff free. The rooms, while clean and well maintained, are dated. Dull carpet, bland bathroom and tiny television are not appealing. The partial view balcony had plastic chairs and table. If you are not planning to spend time in the room it is sufficient. There are lots of pools. Maybe 7? So there are a lot of options. The beach is large and just a few steps from the pools and bar. The chairs with umbrellas rent for $40 per day. The only restaurant we ate at was for breakfast and not impressive. We enjoyed the adults only bar on the 6th floor. Ah! Speaking of Adults Only, that was our hold back on another star. We don't have children. We don't want to spend time with children. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY RESORT. This was not a good fit for us. The staff was pleasant but not well informed about the resort or local attractions. I recommend the Coral Reef for families but not couples sans kids. read more

By far one of the nastiest places I've stayed at in Myrtle beach. Do not stay here! My boyfriend and I were bitten by a cockroach in our sleep. And had one crawl out of our bags when we left this place. They will give you the run around at this resort. No refund and spent almost $1,000 to stay at this facility. NASTY. Do not stay here if you don't want to go home with roaches. Literally have to embalm our whole vehicle and they feel as if it didn't come from them. read more

We spent 5 days here for our vacation this year and it is a big resort in Myrtle Beach proper as opposed to N Myrtle Beach. It has many amenities. The rooms aren't huge but we had the bedroom, a kitchenette and then a small living room then the balcony. It suited our needs. The place is pretty clean - didn't see any bugs. The rooms are a little dated and could probably use a little facelift. Now.... The problems. This resort hosts a lot of people with varying stays so the place is busy daily. The clientele ranges from families to undesirables. We had people reporting weed being smoked by people but I will say they have good security there and they take care of it quickly. Many people complained of weed smoking so beware! The beach is clean and the water in August was warm and very relaxing. The outside bar is nice for drinks and u can eat at the outside cafe. The pools could use cleaning throughout the day as they get dirty form the amount of people. All in all I gave this 3 stars. read more

Terrible place to own a condo. they do a 60/40 split before any expenses. HOA fees are too high. the management is never available for the owner. I was looking into buying a unit, but they could not provide a copy of the rental calendar. then I was due to conduct inspection and they called me the night before and said they going to let the guest have a late checkout so I am not able to do inspection. A three year return on your money only yielded $5,000 a year and that is of the owner does not have to update it. if they do, you will be on a hole. one of the units gross is $50,000 a year, after all expenses owner net $7,000. at that rate you will never be able to make anything off the $200,000 purchase price. the business set up here is not good. you want to make money on your investment or rent a nice place with a free hot breakfast go to Monterey Bay Suites read more

Good close to the beach, daily service by house cleaning with new towels by the door without them coming into the room. -not cleaned properly. You had to walk through the indoor pool to get to the outdoor/beach. When walking through the indoor area I noticed for 2/3 days there was a floss stick by the hot tub and didn't move. Which means no one was cleaning the area. The outdoor hot tub wasn't being clean either and had lots of mold around the tiles. When calling for the reservation and I talked to an employee they said the rooms were just remodeled, if the rooms were just remodeled why would tiles not match and there be molded at the foot of the tub and flooring? How is it that when housekeeping when preparing the room not notice the bathroom sink had no water pressure and we had to call down to get that fix? And the mini fridge freezer was completely frozen that it wouldn't even unfreeze? One of the coffee cups had lipstick marks when we checked in as well. They didn't have the best customer service. When asking for a late checkout because of a later flight they said housekeeping will call and let us know. We didn't have our phone on us, when they called they didn't even leave a message. The front desk didn't even know what was going on with housekeeping. I know the hotel was on the beach but the rooms were so humid they need to have some type of dehumidifier in there to prevent mold. read more

Checked in on Saturday, March 27, 2021 - after driving down from Ma in 1 day - we arrived at roughly mid-night only to be told the only room they had was a ground level room on the same floor as the indoor pool - it was like being in sauna and smelled of severe chlorine, let alone the noise from the screaming kids in the indoor pool. We went back up to the desk and I told Kelly that this is not what I reserved and or paid for. I reserved a family suite ocean front efficiency room with a ocean front balcony room, not a room facing a bunch of bushes & a hot tub. When we questioned the staff, we were told that "we don't reserve room #'s, just types of rooms - so your telling me having a balcony room on the 5th floor is the same price as a ground floor room??? Absolutely makes no sense! 2nd day we hit the pool bar - drinks were good - bartender Ed was pleasant and nice to talk to. On day 3 we decide to use the Oceans 6 restaurant on the 6th floor - we walk in, the place is empty - we ask if we can get food as advertised. Bartender tells us, his system is down. down?? He sends us down the to game/bowling area to order food, telling us it's the same thing, NOT - it Styrofoam containers with junk food! Honestly just wanted to have a good meal at "the resort" we were staying at and relax. NO CAN DO. Had to get in the car and go out for dinner. Coming back to the resort, the parking is a nightmare, people fighting over the parking area in front of the place. Other parking is in a garage under the building - didn't feel safe as a single woman parking the car and walking through the garage. Still have 4 days left to my vacation and time in Myrtle to look for a house to purchase - thought I picked a great place to stay for the week. Extremely disappointed - nothing is open at the resort. In my mind resort says " you have everything I need here on sight and I shouldn't have to leave if I don't want to? Right? Would not recommend or stay here again. There are a hundred other places to stay along the beach, so choose wisely. read more

Coral Beach Resorts and Suites in Myrtle Beach, SC was infested with roaches and exceptionally dirty. My daughter had an allergic reaction, and I had to demand forcefully for the murphy bed sheets to be changed. The place reeked of age, and during the one night we spent a significant amount of time in the room, I discovered roaches in the bathroom. The night auditor was absent for several minutes, and when he finally appeared at the desk, he was still getting dressed.My wife had to argue with the front desk supervisor, who downplayed the issue by saying "it was only two roaches" during our four-night stay. She reluctantly offered a 20% discount, claiming "they said don't give you anything". Despite having evidence in the form of pictures, no one was interested in seeing them as they were convinced of the roach infestation.Two days later, I had to make multiple calls to speak with someone who identified themselves as the maintenance manager, who then offered only a 25% discount. Even after explaining that we hadn't received a proper apology despite numerous conversations, we were given a half-hearted, patronizing apology. In addition to all that, the hotel restaurant charged me $108 for a $56 meal. They literally lied to my face about what happened and it took an entire week to be resolved. Don't be deceived by the numerous fake reviews online; check the profiles and see how fabricated they are. Pay attention to the genuine complaints about bed bugs, roaches, poor customer service, and the musty smell. My advice: Avoid Coral Beach Resort and Suites at Myrtle Beach at all costs. read more

Coral beach resort was horrible! There was blood on our bathroom door. There was hair in our room from not being cleaned properly. Our shampoo and lotion was half used. When we came back from dinner our roof was purring water and flooding our room! We checked out and got our money back! Dont stay there it not worth it! I will never go back! We stayed here with a large group of people, nine families, 41 people to be exact. I'll start with something positive. Our room had GREAT water pressure. Now for the not-so-positive. The room wasn't clean when we arrived. The first time we used the shower, the water pooled up in the tub. We discovered the drain was plugged with hair from the previous occupants. Some of the other families in our group had the same issue. We also found candy wrappers under chairs and furniture. I was willing to overlook the cleanliness issue and give this resort three or four stars, but what happened on our sixth day knocked it down to one star. We decided to cater a group dinner with all nine families staying at the hotel. There were some tables by the bar outside that had been mostly empty all week. That seating area got busy on the weekends, but every time I saw it on a weekday, it was virtually empty. We brought in the dinner and set up at the empty tables, but the bartender quickly ratted us out. A security guard showed up, and told us we had to move because those tables were for bar or restaurant patrons. I had only visited the bar once and ordered a flat Diet Coke. When I returned the drink because it was just sweetened syrup, the bartender said, "Well, that's the only diet soda I have," and gave me a warm Red Bull instead. So that was the bar. And as far as a restaurant goes, we never saw one. Never saw a menu on a table, never saw other people eating or being served, and never had a hotel employee ask if we wanted to order food when we were relaxing at those tables. But as soon as we brought outside food, that area magically became a restaurant. If those tables really are reserved for restaurant goers, the resort is doing a horrible job marketing it. Going back to the security guard telling us to move, he wasn't very hospitable when making this "request". Despite signs posted everywhere advising GUESTS to wear masks and social distance, this EMPLOYEE got within about two feet of our friend's face when telling us we couldn't use the tables. When she complained that he was too close and not wearing a face covering, he just turned around, walked away, and said we needed to move. For those of you that think I'm being a Karen, I get it. I know you can't just buy food from one restaurant and take it into another. But Coral Beach Resort is in the hospitality business. The nine families in our party probably spent a combined $20k to stay here for a full week. They could have let us use the tables, or offered to set up tables in another area. They ended up sending us to a windy second-floor patio. We made the best of it, but lettuce was literally blowing off people's plates, and my friends were using their knees for tables when there were plenty of empty tables in a much calmer area, 50 feet below. No one in our party will visit this resort again, or recommend it to anyone. I can handle a little filth, especially during a pandemic, but how you treat people matters when they are literally paying you to be nice to them. read more
