    Crowd and Live Music

Had such a fun experience eating and getting drinks at Coral Gables! It was busy on a Saturday but luckily they had seating available still outside since they have a huge outdoor space. There was live music playing which made the vibe lively and fun. They accommodated for a lot of large groups there, saw quite a few bachelorette groups. Our server was really sweet and our food was really good as well. The crab ragoon was so creamy on the inside and perfectly fried on the outside. The fish and chips was served super hot and the fries are pub style. The hot chicken sandwich was also so fresh and crispy with the perfect amount of heat. Definitely worth stopping by, they are open late and also have The Annex- another late open bar. Atopt of it which was one of the most fun piano bars.

Coral Gables is a fun spot to enjoy a meal or some entertainment. There are actually multiple restaurants and bars housed in the Coral Gables complex. A group of six of us stopped in for lunch recently and sat on the upstairs deck which was lovely. We were seated at two round tables pushed together which didn't make for the best conversation flow, but we enjoyed the nice weather and atmosphere. Our server was awesome - super kind and helpful with suggestions and on top of service. I ordered the BLT & T wrap with fries, which was pretty tasty. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, and I liked the accompanying cup of ranch. It was also a large portion- I ended up eating the whole thing since were were walking around afterwards and I didn't want to have to carry my leftovers. I was super full! The menu is pretty basic but it did the trick. It was fun hearing some of the bands at night playing here while we were walking around the area. We tried to go to the comedy show on Saturday evening but it was sold out.

Great seafood would definitely recommend to any who wants seafood in sagatuck. Great service too.

Beautiful Sagautuck, Mi sitting outside at Coral Gables

We had a weekend getaway that made us feel free and safe! We went to Sagautuck, MI and had the best time. We still wore our masks to and from the table (ofc)- but we then were in the sand and breathing the beautiful fresh air of Lake Michigan! The waitress was awesome! We each got a very delicious burger (see photo) and fries! The burger was meaty, moist and so juicy and tasty! We took some photos and put our feet in the sand! I'd like to add that we felt entirely safe here because the staff was wearing masks and gloves and they had a little table set up out on the side near the entrance. A person at this table was checking who went in and who came out! They did everything great and the food tasted awesome on top of all that! We had a great time and I want to say "thank you" to Coral Gables on this #thankyouthursday

No one was there but the owner picked up the phone and was able to arrange a great table for us right in the bar area! Walking in I was immersed in the moody and dark space, brightened by pops of red and other Asian accents. The bar is beautiful and the bartender was hard at work cranking out cocktails. Lindsay was our server, and she was an absolute breath of fresh air, clearly passionate about her role in providing the guest experience, and frankly, she made all the difference in our experience. It all started when she saw our boys sitting at the low two top and offered them a private dining experience right next to us! They downed so much sushi, I nearly had to take out a second mortgage, but I'd happily pay it over and over to see the looks on their faces at 5 and 8 again! To say that a core memory was made that night is a massive understatement, as we have not stopped hearing about this since we returned and my son even made my mother walk him back to the restaurant the next day just to see if he could say hi! She took incredible care of the grown ups too. Helped with menu selections, addressed all requests swiftly and handled any issues with actual regard for the feedback being provided, which is becoming more and more rare in today's industry. On the food, we ordered most the apps including wings, green beans, cucumbers, shrimp, and spring rolls, and then we added the crab noodles, yellow curry and a few sushi rolls. The cucumbers and green beans stole the show, with the shrimp and crab noodles not too far behind. The sushi was decent, but I found the rice a bit gummy and didn't really get a sense of each element within them. The wings and curry were a bit bland for my liking but the wings benefitted by the additional sauce with them. The curry needed a bit more heat, fish sauce, and maybe a hit of vinegar. As someone who LOVES Asian food, this satisfied the itch after mainly eating American food for so many days, but I'd realistically rate it a 3.5 stars, especially considering the price and value. I'd happily return on my next visit to Saugatuck and suggest it to friends too. Keep crushing the service game!

It's such a fun, immersive atmosphere. The food? Amazing. The drinks? Delicious. And the service? Even better. Everything just flowed and made for such a great night. Definitely one of those places you go for the full experience, not just the meal.

This place seems to be known for their pizza, but we had just eaten pizza the day before, so we opted for a side of fries, a side Caesar salad, and an order of the wings. Well, we ended up getting full portions of the side items, which was a bit of a bummer as we weren't super hungry plus it was more expensive. We'd just be more specific next time. The food was good, but we really should have ordered pizza. The Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful, but had a LOT of anchovies. I personally really like anchovies, but this was a bit much. The wings were huge and kind of gamey, and the skin was not crispy so they were not my favorite to eat. The fries were tasty but nothing special. I will give 5 stars for the beer! I had the lake noir, which was a blueberry/blackberry beer and the other fruit beer which was watermelon flavored. They were both fruity and refreshing and I really enjoyed them. I would come back for the pizza, which seemed a bit pricey but looked delicious.

He then proceeded to take everyone else's food order, even though they sat after us, prior to come back to take ours. We finally ordered and they pizza came out. Couple points in the pizza, it was good mind you but each topping is $2.50. If I get bacon on a pizza I'm expecting more than a sparse sprinkling of bacon bits on my pizza for that amount. If you order ham on you pizza they provide a good amount but the pieces of game are pretty large and tend to come off as part of the initial bite. They have a food runner that is delivering the pizzas so we didn't interact with the waiter again, no check in, no asking if we wanted another round of drinks. Multiple attempts to flag him down went ignored, I finally grabbed my own to go box for the left overs. I was finally able to get his attention after he made five trips to fill up a water cooler so that we could pay. Food & Drinks great. Service was dreadful.

We got the crab and lobster dip plus the duck liver mousse for appetizers. Both were bland and the flavor non-comprehensive. The dip had little flavor and the texture was weird and chewy, did not taste like the crab and lobster was cooked that day (from experience). The duck liver mousse was decent, but fell flat on a full flavor alone, it was kindly complemented with the pickled cucumber and carrots but overall it wasnt the most impressive. We had the lake trout and the hanger steak. The lake trout was gamey, oddly flavorless but also had a strong musky flavor, severely under seasoned during cooking. The spinach and embellishments saved the dish from being totally inedible. Presentation was sad and sloppy. The steak with tallow fries was a joke. The meat was chewy/tough, the sauce tasted like nothing, and the fries tasted like they came straight out of the freezer section of Walmart (freezer taste included). Wedges or fingerlings would have been a far better pairing in our opinion. Both of our plates were left barely half finished and it turned into a date of being food critics lol. A positive was they did make a decent old fashioned (was more of a double), and their French 75 was fabulous. Overall, it was a joke. We love interesting new places with unique menu options. We chose this place for that reason. Unfortunately we felt it was a case of "quantity over quality". These dishes had so much potential, but it was by far our worst food experience of our trip.
