Terry from Coral pools is fantastic. During a busy week with storms here, he fit me in as my pool pump had died. He got me going with the latest variable speed engery efficent pump. I called around to at least 3 other pool companies and Terry had the lowest price by hundreds. He was very professional and quick to install the new pump. We never knew how sparkly clean our pool could be until we fired Terry and hired another pool company. Moving from NYC, and never having a pool, we had limited knowledge of what it took to maintain one. Our pool has an infinity edge and they never cleaned the pool trough (convinced that it only needed to be done every 6months or so).. So our pool would grow algae in a matter of a few days. I honestly thought this was normal. If we ever had an issue terry would charge us $200 to take a look. We paid about $800 dollars for an led light, that Terry recommended, when one of our pool lights went out. We were told it would sync/match with the current ones and it doesn't, now we have one amazing light and 2 older ones. Thankfully, our new guy offered to help us sell it to recoup some money to get matching ones. This review is a tad over due (a few months) I just am so overjoyed with our new pool service that it seemed fair to put out a telling and honest review. (We used Coral Pools for about 8 months) Use Coral pools if u don't mind a rushed, poor quality job, and don't mind being duped or if you have a small pool and know exactly what you need... than his service might be good for you. One word to describe my experience: Unprofessional. I am a new homeowner and had been looking for a good pool service company for a while. After calling around and getting estimates from several companies, we found Terry with Coral Pools. His service tech came out and did an amazing job during our initial service. The difference was noticeable right away and we were very happy. However, a few weeks went by and our pool started to get dirty. Also, we had some guests over and one of the guests broke the drain cover in the spa. We thought it was no big deal as our new pool guy will be at the house that same week and we can talk to him about fixing it. Another week passed and our pool was getting dirtier and there was no word on the broken drain cover. We reached out to Terry because at this point, it didn't seem like anyone had cleaned our pool since the initial service. We simply asked Terry if his tech had been to the house that week. His response was annoyed, he didn't answer the question, and just said that his tech was as reliable as clockwork. We asked if his tech mentioned the broken drain cover as that is something that I assumed would have been noticed and brought up. Terry told us, "we don't do 100 point inspections on your pool every week," and that he "specifically remembers telling us in passing" that our cover was already broken during the initial visit. (I didn't feel the need to share the pictures we took after the initial visit showing the drain cover intact). As a paying customer, I feel I should be given a legitimate answer if all I am asking is if my pool was serviced. We asked more specifically, how do we know if his tech has been by. Do they leave door hanger? Is there a service record that states what was done? He continued to refuse to give us an answer and just stated that his employees were reliable. At this point, I am starting to consider looking for another company when Terry told us that they will no longer be servicing us and that he wishes us the "best of luck" finding a new company. He refused service just because we asked if the tech had been by! It seemed very strange to me that he would cancel our service. Wouldn't you just answer the customer's questions and give them confidence that you are doing your job? I expected more from a business owner. I don't recommend using this company unless you are okay with not asking ANY questions lest you get fired by your own pool guy. read more

Wow where do I even start, Terry provides great service and great customer service! We closed escrow end of June, first time pool owners. The pool had gotten yellow algae and it was during the week of 4th of july. Terry was the only one who was able to come day after the 4th.
