She's a very fast talker and gives the same introductory talk to every person I heard. (In fact, she met me before the reading and said the exact same thing to me when I sat in her chair). When I said I had questions about my late mom during my request for information about past lives, she said, "oh, no, that's medium crap." I even gave her an example of what I was looking to know. She continued on with her cards and giving more "life/job advice" than any kind of personal connection. With two minutes left, and me feeling so sad to have zero connections with any loved ones, she asked if I had anymore questions. I asked, "Is there ANYTHING you can tell me about my mom that might be helpful to me moving forward?" She replied, "Well not in two minutes. I wish I would have known. We could have connected with her earlier." I explained that I asked for that in the beginning and she admitted she "missed it" ... "but you still have to pay me." Sadly I have the same type of review as Elle W below....only , thankfully, Corbie cancelled our soul reading....First, when I asked for clarity in the homework, she became defensive.- the homework is not clear and very punitive- meaning you have to do it this way or that way, with little direction......I also asked to change readings and I would gladly pay a fee to change the type of reading, and money became the issues. she said no I couldn't change the type of reading...even though eventually she gave me a refund. She said she wasn't angry at me, but her tone of voice said another reality.....I feel, in my own experience, that when dealing with death or abandonment, a "healing bedside manner" is important....vibration is the crux of life.....Her specialties are probably best for parties and general readings. If you have loss or any emotional or familial issues, any kind of grief..... and don't want to deal with an angry woman , then find someone else. My real name is Karen Gray. This is my FB pseudonym. I think it is wonderful that Corbie has helped so many people out there and for those of you, that is great you were able to connect with her. But things didn't work out between us. Corbie had a poor bedside manner, a negative attitude and was impatient. No matter how much I articulated information to her, each time she misunderstood, she become hysterical instead of asking me for clarity. When I misunderstood her instructions, she lost her temper and became hostile. I was in shock. I had naively thought that people in this field would be love and heart-centered with positive vibrations. But that is a misconception. These psychics, at the end of the day, are still human and have their own problems. They are just like you and I. However, there is no excuse to lose your temper as a professional on a client. Even if you're a garbage collector, there is no justification to use someone's past against them. I don't think many sign up for the Soul Plan for 450.00 to be able to relate to my situation. I personally found the instructions confusing in retrospect. I came in with a complicated situation and her Soul Plan homework guidelines were lacking in clarity for me. We both misunderstood each other at one point. I had read something in her guidelines incorrectly and other parts of her guidelines, she refused to explain to me when I articulated my confusion. For 450.00, one would think she'd be a bit more patient and understanding that maybe not everyone's brain works in the same way. Perspective: We all may read things differently and hear different things. Each of us at some point in our lives have been confused and misunderstood details and had many questions to get clarification and for her to pretend she is immune to that herself was disappointing for me. It is also important for me to point out that Corbie had used sensitive details I shared with her about my past against me when she became hysterical. I could not believe it. This behavior is inexcusable and childish. A professional should not be judged on how well they do in simple situations, but how they perform with challenges and she failed. I think she just wants things easy, light, whip, bam boom. So, if you're easy, you'll be fine with her. I don't expect people to be perfect as I am not perfect, but I DO expect those who work with the general public (especially in altruistic fields) to be patient, humble, mature, compassionate, forgiving, understanding, have social skills and have emotional intelligence to some degree. We are all each other's equal, but sometimes people with celebrity status might feel they are above reproach and human error. I am afraid this is how I experienced Corbie and just because I am one of the few, does not mean I am wrong. Those who bravely criticize a famous person are in the minority and as to be expected, dismissed as it being all their fault because how could a celebrity who has helped so many people, make mistakes with some? I am sorry I wasted several hours of my day on this homework for nothing. I literally spent six or more hours working on this paper I was supposed to write up for her and even got my husband involved to check it out. What a waste. For those who have had a similar problem, there are PLENTY of psychics out there to choose from, so no worries. No psychic needs to be an author or a celebrity to be valid.
