Several of the machines have captions - probably as many as could be reliably researched - that explains their year of creation, the artists involved, and how many of this specific machine were created. Pay once and play for a while. The pinball machines date back as far as 1969 and as modern as 2002. For $18, stay for as long as you like. The museum offers yearly and monthly memberships, too. As I walked into the door, I had my purse on my arm and the first thing that was said to me was NOT welcome to the theater, thank you for coming, it was "you cannot bring your purse in here". I was confused and didn't understand and he said it again, you can't bring your purse in here if it's bigger than a piece of paper 8.5"X11"!! I still didn't understand as I have never heard of such a thing and asked to speak to the manager. She comes up and rudely says that it's policy for the safety of our patrons. I was flabbergasted. IF someone was hell bent on doing something bad, are they going to carry it in their purse?!? My daughters truck did not lock so I said I'm not leaving in the car so they said I had to put it in the office or leave. TRUST THIS, if I wouldn't have had two very upset grandkids, I would have left that very second and not spent a single penny in this place. I then told her she could search my purse - she then RUDELY says "it's not my responsibility to search your purse" you have to leave it in the office - so I had to leave my purse in the office (not locked in a cabinet or anything, just sitting on a desk. WOW I said I certainly hope nobody bothers my purse and she said they won't and I said well they better not when another lady pipes in and yells SERIOUSLY?!?!? To which I replied SERIOUSLY!! You seem to have a captive audience because I understand there isn't much in the way of a choice in movie theaters in this area. If there were a choice, I guarantee you would change that policy very quickly. I think we all know that this policy to "protect" the customer is just a lame, veiled attempt to stop your customers from bringing in snacks and not have to buy your overpriced garbage.

I saw several of my Yelp friends recommend a stop at the Museum and I was all in. I could hardly contain my excitement, seeing the iconic bucket marquee. Outside, in the perfectly manicured lot, stand petroleum artifacts from the Sanders early days as a gas station owner. A historical plaque describes the site. The Museum stands where Harland Sanders (the Colonel) once owned a small neighborhood restaurant, called Sanders. Here, his famous fried chicken took root. Inside, is a modern KFC counter. I be placed my order and was given a beeper. The Museum is filled with artifacts from 1940's to present including Sanders furniture, kitchen ware and an evolution of KFC logo packaging and trinkets. My favorite part of the exhibit was a video of Sanders describing how to prepare his chicken. I was truly inspired by his story as an entrepreneur. My lunch was fresher than any KFC that I had ever had. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. The coleslaw was so brightly colored that I knew it was made within the hour. And the potatoes took me back to my childhood. We spent about an hour total at the museum. There is no charge, except your meal. Restrooms are clean. The museum is fun and interesting. I highly recommend a stop, especially if you're a KFC fan.

We came from Louiville, 3 hour drive as always has beautiful scenery of rolling hills and the famous thoroughbred farms. We Found plenty of parking. There was a super friendly volunteers to guide your way As we made our way through arts and hand crafted wares. Plenty of food truck venders serving entrees to delicious treats. The music was the main draw. Some of the newest up and coming artist of all genres looking for their biggest break to seasoned acts you'll want to see time and again. Our favorite was Grace Potter and her band offering smooth ballads to rock, to high energy dance tunes. Two large first class sound stages and equal lighting excitement. Gave us a chance to bounce back from one stage to another act to act. Large open spaces for your folding chairs. Highly recommend you make to travel next July. Note, remember bring lawn chairs.
