The lady was abrupt and rude saying its "all $22" and hung up on me. I arrived just to be told "we don't cut women's hair, not my rule". I have an obviously feminine voice and was never asked if the service was for me or someone else. Did I drive all this way just to be treated rudely and *discriminated* against. I have unbelievably thick hair and have to keep the underneath clippered in the summer or I break out with a bad heat rash. Clippers cut hair, regardless of sex or gender. Period. I wasn't looking for a perm, or hair coloring, or any other typically "female" services requiring a cosmetologist license. This was 100% a barbering service. Never been discriminated against by a barber shop before, stopping in at shops from Philly to Atlanta to New Orleans to Houston to San Francisco... I've never even gotten even a wierd look. They have all been very, very welcoming! Is this that "North Dakota Nice" we keep hearing about?
