There were a few small groups scattered around the bar BS'ing and slamming shots along side their chilled glasses of cheap draft. You could tell by the conversation some of these guys have been telling the same stories for years to the same group of friends and often loud enough to be heard by a few strangers like me - it seems the first liar doesn't stand a chance. We ordered a Crispy Chicken Salad ($14.56), Tommy's Chicken Walnut Salad ($14.56), 2 Bonanza Burgers with fries ($18.72 + $3.12), and a Black Hawk Burger with fries ($18.72 + $3.12). Drinks were 2 iced teas and a Diet Coke ($3.12 each). My wife thought her chicken salad had a good flavor, moist and tender chicken. However, she thought the croissant wasn't light and flaky. My Black Hawk burger had good enough flavor BUT the bun was falling apart and wasn't even warmed up. In the end, I had to finish eating it with a fork and knife. Decent service and ambient but value was lacking. It's probably a "one and done" place for us. Lunch for 5 with tip came out to just over $130.
