Everything stared out fine, we looked at the wonderful cakes. We ordered the seafood basket, a special on Friday nights. We got our drinks, we got our delightful biscuit basket, we got drink refills. Then we waited a half hour and no food, no check from the staff, but they were very busy Then we waited 45 minutes no food, other people were leaving after eating their meals. Ridiculously good. Freshly made donuts from this locally owned and operated bakery were colorful. A steady stream of cars entered the lot anxious to get their donuts. While there is a drive-thru, we chose to go in and see the selection. There was an energy in the air with the ladies doing the baking were jovial and laughing. Service was friendly and rapid. There were all types of donuts - fritters, frosted, glazed and more. There are 2 tables to sit and eat. My glazed donut was soft and sweet. The coffee was no frills and perfect. I stop by one morning before work. I used the drive thru and ordered biscuits and gravy. Pull up to get my order and realized I forgot my wallet at home. I apologized and said sorry I forgot my wallet. They proceeded to give me my food anyway. Drove straight home got wallet went back and paid with tip. Great people, great service, great food. Me and my boyfriend have gone here twice. We absolutely love their donuts. They are the best donuts we have ever had. They are soft, delicious, and don't leave you feeling heavy after eating them. Despite previous reviews I've seen, we have had nothing but pleasant experiences and service with the staff. They were swift (it was busy), kind, and smiled with a thank you. They seem to be mad that Dunkin stole their peeps but when you go in to pay and get people who are seriously just "give me your money what do you want" . Got an old lady and she was rude one time and it turned me off to this place. Plus they are only open like 3 hours or something. read more

LOVE the donuts here. Although I've never tried anything other than a basic glazed ring, the donuts are absolutely delicious! They are light and airy and a perfect compliment to any breakfast. I'm not a fan of chain donuts, such as Krispy Kreme, because of their density and richness. Cornerstone's donuts have a perfect, homemade taste and are a definite treat on the days I have to be in to Greensburg early for work. The only possible drawback of Cornerstone I could find is the fact that they do not accept credit/debit cards. It makes for an additional stop to an ATM for someone like me, who never carries cash. However, because of the quality of the donuts, it's not even enough to remove a star! :) read more

These are fantastic. They are made fresh and guess what you can tell. The staff is super nice. I went in every week to get a basketball team donuts. They are really cheep but are amazing quality. Your not even there for five minuets before you are out the door. A quick and delicious breakfast if you need it. I have had most of the donuts they serve my personal favorite is a chocolate covered one. Everything is fabulous. The basketball boys (12) ate like 4 dozen every week. Very consistent. The only drawback is they only take cash but that is a very minor thing in the big picture of this tiny place. read more

They have good donuts, but are rude to me every time I visit. They always run out of donuts early in the morning, and only take cash.

The women, especially, one particular, are rude to customers.. or to us anyway.. today, I said, as she was handing me my change, to "Have a good day", and I got no response. Not even thanks or bye. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that this has happened to us either.. Cornerstone Bakery has a reputation for serving fresh and delicious doughnuts in my hometown. That being said, the service is awful. Many times I've walked inside and given a smile to the cashier only to receive a frown back. Another drawback from patronizing this establishment is the fact that you must carry cash in order to make a purchase. read more

I am giving this place 1 star. If I would rate it solely based on the baked goods, it would be a solid 4 stars, but I rate places based on my entire experience. I could have bad food but a great experience and still rate something 4 stars. But if the service is bad, it just makes everything else a not so pleasant experience. The cheese danishes are the best danishes I have ever had! The biggest downfall is the service. Yes, I know this is a Christian bakery, but that does NOT give them the right to look at their customers as if they are disgusted. Also very judgmental! We stopped in here on our way to Cincinnati because we really enjoy their pastries. Coming from Indianapolis to this tiny little town, I know there are bound to be a few differences but this time was different. We couldn't even ask one simple question without being condemned to hell. I get that their pastries are delectable but personally it is just not worth it to me if I am going to be judged by someone who: #1- doesn't know me at all; and #2- feels that they have a right to judge someone just because they are a paying guest/customer. If anything, they should be happy that I am choosing to spend my hard earned money at their business instead of somewhere else. I was raised in a very strong religious household. I was also raised to not judge someone just by how someone looks or acts. As an adult, my career exposes me to a wide range of people. Just like this business, I perform customer service, just in a different way (I work in the medical field as an RN). If I were to judge anyone, I would be fired immediately! It is NOT anyone place to judge someone else, especially if you don't even know the person! Sorry about the rant it, but I needed to get it off my chest.
