One of the oddest Duty Free Shops you'll find at a border crossing. The building looks like a…read morehouse and is located at the very last exit before the border station. To get here, you have to take the exit, go all the way to the end, then turn right onto a country road, and finally into the long driveway leading to the store. Upon purchasing your items, you will be escorted by a lead car driven by an employee of the store to a point where you have to take the side road leading to the on-ramp which brings you to the Canadian border. The distance is very short. The reason for the escort is that the Duty Free Shop is located in an area where one could take a country road South thus avoiding the border. If you are returning from Canada at the same border crossing which is Highgate, there is a much larger more modern Duty Free Store just a couple hundred feet from the US border station with a huge selection of items.

They gave me ample time to figure out what I wanted and then they were quick to ring me out. Penny took the time to measure my feet and they found the correct size for me. I was surprised to find shoes on sale that fit me. So often I get into a shoe store and nothing on sale will fit my feet.
