I went to this practice recently. I saw one of the podiatrists there that I've been going to for quite a while I do not want to mention the name. I had some issues with my toenails and I told the doctor it was one or two and he went in and cut them all. Then he went into the corners of them and made them worse and took parts of the nail off, whether or not realizing it or not. I am appalled how the whole thing was handled I will never ever ever go back there and that place should be shut down!!!! read more

Terrible customer service from the staff on the phone Awful bedside manner provided by Dr. Julaine Miller. She diagnosed me with a fracture, but didn't come up with a treatment plan or offer any advice on how to heal it. When I asked her how long the pain might last, she said "I don't have a crystal ball". Just terrible. Don't go here! read more

After two visits the office txt me and said " my insurance doesn't cover orthotics, its $600 to proceed". I called the next day and corrected, my insurance covers one pair every two years. The lady with a nasty tone said " we don't accept you ins. Well thats not what your txt said. Why is my insurance good enough for office visits but not for orthotic inserts? Couldn't this have been discussed on visit #1? Waste of time. read more

I agree with most of what is here. The service is deplorable. Specifically, the service provided by Dr. Shah was poor and probably negligent. I even wrote a letter regarding the service - first to a so-called administrator named Nicole Baylinson who never got back to me, and then to the owner of the practice, Dr. Warkarla, and he too never responded. Dr. Shah prescribed medication that was contraindicated for meds that I was already taking; she never checked to see what. meds I was taking. It was the pharmacist that spoke with me. Her interaction with me was full of microaggressions - arrogant, accusatory, and condescending. She even implied that I never went to a lab for my lab work when I did. I had to actually go to the lab myself to get a copy of the labs that her staff actually received but never processed. Obviously, the so-called practice manager, Nicole Baylinson, ain't managing or practicing very well! She falls far short of the term practice or manager. Her reviews are not stellar. I found the front desk staff - some, not all - to be rude and unprofessional. I was appalled when I got a call reminding me of my next appt.! What that says is that there isn't a lot of practicing or management going on there because had my letters been read and taken seriously, the practice manager and the doctor would've contacted me and knew that I was not returning to that practice. There are systemic and staff problems there, and I would NOT recommend this practice for care to anyone. read more

Billing department is terrible. They never sent claims to my insurance companies for office visits and then told me I had to fix this. The insurance companies cannot obviously file claim they did not receive. I told them to send the claims and bill the primary and secondary. They told me it was a coordination of benefits problem. It was not. It was them screwing up the procedure to bill the insurance. This happened with hospital bills as well. If the people did their jobs properly then the offices would get paid and we woth insurance woukd not be hasseled. So aggravated with Cornerstone. The doctors are great. I would go back but not with all the billing issues encountered. read more

These people are the worst in Podiatry. Julaine Miller us a rude piece of work. She lied to me then minutes before my surgery about amputations and the owner of the practice, Warkala told me that he was going to clean up my wounds and sew me up in two days. Three visiting nurses from Kennedy told me that my toes were infected and Warkala, when questioned, told me the nurses did not know what they were talking about. I went for a 2nd, 3rd and 4th opinion in one day at Penn and Jefferson and was told by all other doctors to NOT let him near my feet. I haven't been there since and I wouldn't recommend that anyone with a foot problem patronize these quacks. read more

I just wanted to follow up about my office visit that I had today with Dr. Butler. I don't even think that I can fully put into words how great my experience was with him. He was extremely professional and pleasant throughout my entire visit. He took the time to explain everything that was happening with my feet and explained it in a way that I could fully understand. He was gentle with my feet (they are very sensitive and painful) and kept me engaged in conversation throughout the visit. He explained all the benefits and risks of surgery because that was something that I was considering. Once my visit ended, I asked if there was a shoehorn that I could utilize because I cannot reach my feet. Because we had discussed some of my concerns during the visit and I had informed him that I have scleroderma, he knew exactly why I needed the shoehorn. Dr. Butler stated that there was a shoehorn in the other room but, decided to help me himself. He proceeded to put my socks and shoes on as well as tie my shoes. Now some people may read this and say that was no big deal. But, for someone like me who struggles daily with simple tasks such as putting on shoes and socks, this meant the world to me. Now let me be clear that I have seen other physicians in your practice, and they have all been wonderful but, Dr. Butler, he is different. His entire approach to my visit and how he handled my feet, and my feelings, took everything to another level. Because of my condition I see a lot of doctors and I can honestly say that Dr. Butler was one of the BEST that I have seen. Please recognize him for a job well done! It is the little things in life, like putting my shoes and socks on that that have the greatest impact on patients like me. read more

Cornerstone Foot & Ankle is a real patient oriented provider. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Warkala is outstanding. Couldn't be more pleased with this office. I have been a patient for about three years now. read more

I'm very pleased with Cornerstone and Dr. Oware. He thoroughly explains his treatment path and answers all questions and concerns with a smile on his face :) After suffering for many months, I'm finally beginning to get some relief and am confident that by continuing to treat with Dr. Oware, I'll be as good as new someday soon! read more

Recently took my husband here. Doctor-she was great, ease of appointment and location was good. However I found the room to be dirty. The foot rest and the thick plastic pad was filthy, the metal pan he rested his foot over was grimy. The bottom of the doctor's chair was filled with dust. Yuck. Not sure I'll go back. It's a shame because we really loved her. read more

The staff were a bunch of rude young adults. I came in no one greeted me. The receptionist and another staff member were talking to each other about going to an event. When I went up the receptionist to ask her a question, the receptionist was very rude. I told her she was very unprofessional and she called me the N word. I asked to speak to the supervisor and she told me they weren't here and started laughing. I would never come here ever again. They are very racist here. on 3/9/2020 I had an appointment in the cherry hill office. The receptionist "Kat" who refused to give me her full name was very disrespectful. She insisted I pay a medical bill for something that was labeled incorrectly. Instead of contacting the billing department to confirm if this bill was even mine, and what it was for she proceeded to tell me just pay the bill! Because I questioned her tone of voice with me, she attempted to refuse me medical service! Cornerstone has to do better with it receptionist! Dubious practice. My wife was told our insurance did not cover her procedure and was charged a full amount. Turns out my insurance did cover the procedure after I received a bill from them asking to further pay based on my insurance company agreed upon amount with this office. Essentially a double billing. The amount they initially billed was twice the agreed upon amount with the Ins. company The procedure was done in Nov2019 timeframe and I still have not received reimbursement. read more

The Doctor was good, the only person who could help me was the floor supervisor... The staff needs to learn how to research the answers before they talk... also the staff needs to learn how to talk to people... very, very unhappy!!!!! read more
