My daughter kept nudging me to exclaim how "nice" each person was to her. Dr. Blackwell, his PA and Sam, who helped fit her with a knee brace, took great care of my daughter. I never felt anyone was in a hurry and they each took so much time to listen to and assess her thoroughly. I'm…read morevery specific when I give my insurances on how they were billed etc. On July 14, 2023 and again on July 24,2023 I stopped into their billing office and told them if they billed correctly I should not receive a bill because Tricare for Life is a wrap around for Medicare and whatever Medicare doesn't cover Tricare for Life covers 100%. When Tricare for Life is billed either correctly or incorrectly I get notified staying they covered xyz amount or they state due to x probably they didn't pay and I'm not responsible for the bill because of their error. ortho one states I owe $283.61 and never billed Tricare for Life and since we're now rolling into 3 years after the fact----Tricare for Life will probably tell them to go kick rocks. I have NEVER received any correspondence about this from Tricare for Life which means they didn't bill. What's sad is these places are notorious for partial billing and sticking the patient with what's left over-----why accept $75 from Tricare when I can bill the patient for a higher amount of $284.61 I've explained it to them repeatedly and yet they still have not billed Tricare for life and yes they accept Tricare for life. Sad really. I currently have a text stating I owe $284.61 and it's their error not mine

I just received a bill of $876.78 for collagen bandages that I was totally unaware the cost of. I would have said no. They arrived without my knowledge and thought it was included in my surgery. The leg pumps (which I paid $230) for only worked 9 out of the 14 days I was to wear them. I definitely recommend Dr Morris and other Drs at JIS, but this is something they need to address.

I see Dr Popp upstairs for my hand. His office is there as well as one of the nicest hand PT clinics that I have been to. Ive been to OSU, OrthoNeuro and one near Polaris... this by far is the better that I have been to. Doctor Popp examined my hand. Gave me a cortisone shot in my thumbs knuckle/joint. Warned me it would hurt. It hurt but not as bad as I thought it would. Later that night my thumb started to feel much better. In two days it felt better than it had felt in two years. While at this appointment he sent me to the hand therapists. There I met Cheryl who made me a custom brace. Let me tell you. That was worth its price. I have been to OSU 2xs for this injury. Each time OSU fit me with the wrong brace. The brace OSU last gave me injured my thumb even more just putting it on. This new brace! Wow. My thumb doesn't hurt in it. It rests it in the appropriate position while the hard shell protects it from accidental bumps I highly recommend Dr Pott at Orthopedic One for thumb injuries.

Walk in an watch the assembly line of care. Nothing is personalized or private. I have been getting chiropractic care for over ten years and I have never had such an impersonal experience. When asked they say they are not required to wear masks - although if you call the Health Department, they actually are! As practitioners in the medical field they should be compliant with health and safety rules so this is unacceptable. Due to their lack of concern for patient health and safety, I will not be returning. It makes me wonder in what other ways they may be reckless in prioritizing their own preferences over client health. Arrogant and unprofessional. And sad.
