Excellent service, speedy and the price is unbeatable. My husband drives a 95 Toyota Corolla. Some (bleep) broke into the car from the vent window to steal an old ass car radio and we were stuck replacing the glass and of course the radio. Got a quote for a used vent glass with install @ $45 when other places were trying to charge easily 150-230 dollars! Rediculous. I will never go anywhere else to have my glass replaced, that is for sure. We were in and out in 30 minutes. No biggie. read more

Woke up to a smashed passenger window this am and called the Honda Dealer who said the window was 'back ordered.' Corona not only had a new window in stock, but saw me right away, fixed it within 45 minutes, and even gave me a good recommendation for a diner in walking distance to go while I waited. I recomend this place, they we re very heldfull from tge very begging when I made the call to replace my windshield. I could go in right away, the price was good, and they also replaced my fog light for free. I had gotten my window smashed out he day before and got a police report because i was going to go through insurance but ended up deciding not to. I took the day off from work called the shop first thing in the morning, I told them what car model I had, they ordered the window for me, and called my when they got it, about two hours later. I got there and ended up getting the glass of my mirror fixed too and they did it all in about an hour! They were very helpful, everyone was really sweet, and the service was very affordable! They were amazing. I called at 1 pm on the Friday before Christmas and they said they would order the glass and call me back. They called back at 3:45 and told me if I got in by 4:30 they would get it done (they close at 5). I rolled up at 4:40 and they were all ready - I was out with a brand new rear window at 5:10! My car needed its windshield to be replaced and after a quick yelp search this place came up with the best reviews in my area. Prior to bringing the car in, I called the shop and asked for an estimate which was $130 for a total windshield replacement with New glass (they also have used stuff). The person over the phone also said that they have the glass in stock, so no waiting for a special order. After I arrived at the place, I was greeted by one of the workers of the shop. He asked if I had called and what price I was told. The whole repair took about an hour since the shop was pretty busy. But the work that was done is so far excellent. The guy working on my car did vacuum the interior but there was still plenty of glass pieces scattered throughout the seats/carpet. Upon payment, I was once again asked how much I was initially quoted for. As one of the previous yelpers stated, the whole price quote could be subjective but then again I was charged the same amount as someone else, so who knows how they operate. Omg their great. The hood of my truck had broken my windshield. Mind you it's a 1995 Jeep Wrangler so,I had been calling around all day getting outrageous prices for a 1995. So I went to my old friend YELP which saved me about 340 dollars. I felt so relieved when I was told 180 dollars and to come in first thing in the morning. When i arrived the staff was courteous and very professional.They explain to me that it would be an hour wait and told me of a couple place that surround the location. So, an hour later and not a min more my Jeep looked as good as new. Long story short I couldn't be more happier with the work that was done if i ever have any type of car glass problems in the future which I hope I don't I know who to call. read more

Owner gives out false prices and refuses to compromise for his company's mistakes horrible customer service

Came out of my house this morning at 9:45 AM and found a shattered rear window. .. Called the police to report it. They came in about 15 minutes, but in the interim I called State Farm who said I was completely covered. While waiting for police I also checked YELP for the nearest glass replacement co. and found Corona with great reviews. Called State Farm again to see if they were an approved co. State Farm called them while I was on the phone and connected me to Cisco who is the manager. He checked that they had a new replacement and told me I could come right in. He promised me he'd have it finished in 45 minutes. Well, it took only 40 minutes. By 11:20AM I was driving out of their shop. Had time to keep a luncheon appointment. First off I don't live in NYC and I visit only a couple of weekends a month. I showed up late on a Friday to see if they can install a windshield w/ a rain sensing bracket for my car (VW)...since I planned on doing a retrofit. As a side note, the auto glass shops in my area basically ignored me when I talked to them about my retrofit, so I decided to try this place out because of all the solid reviews. So, Friday I ordered my windshield (put a deposit down since it's pricey and I was expecting it to be)...they had the windshield the next day. I came in that Saturday, they took me in after a 5 min wait, and installed it in just over an hour (VW are a pain to work with). The owner was honest, straight to the point, and very professional. On top of that, the guys who did the windshield swap were very careful and from the interior, you would've never guessed I just had the windshield replaced. I needed a new windshield for my 2012 forester they had it in stock and were cheaper then SAFELITE. They were very casual on the phone about coming by but it was no problem. I came in and in 45 minutes they had it in and I was on my way. They even got the inspection and reg stickers off and back on. Its a family business and workspace is what you'd expect of a busy shop. Was in Brooklyn visiting son. Driver's window was broken from vandalism. I called my insurance company and initially made appointment for Safelite. When I arrived at Safelite no one was there, appointment had been cancelled and I was in a panic. I had to leave town in the morning and needed a new window. It was 4 PM on a Friday afternoon. Corona Autoglass was Better Business accredited, I called them, got a quote right away and said I could come over immediately. I arrived 10 minutes later and in 30 minutes I had a new window, clean car and all the electronics for the windows had been checked and worked well. It is a very sketchy neighborhood and the shop looks pretty sketchy when you first drive up. Trust me though, it was one of the only good experiences with car repair I have ever had.
