You walk in and there are files stacked all over the floor and on his desk. That should have been my first clue. He charges $250 per hour, fine. But he's VERY chatty and then charges you for an additional half hour. Our first go around he charged my $500 to complete an entire revision. The next year I came in with a clean file and followed his guidebook to the letter. I sat with him for an hour to discuss the future of my business. The bill came to $1100. It took me four months to get a hold of him after repeated emails and sure enough he had 10 min worth of explanation for why. Each phone call starts with 10 min of excuses for why he said you'd get it back in a week and it took a month. After finally having ONE email exchange, he literally told me he didn't have time to email me again. Frankly, it boils down to poor time management and organizational skills. Nice guy, but if you're looking for a long term professional experience, this isn't it.
