Not only are the teachers stellar and extremely qualified, they are kind and inspiring leaders. My kids couldn't be happier. They bring home plants. They have their own gardens at school and eat plant based meals for lunch every day. They have amazing friends and love playing sports and performing in the school plays. We couldn't be happier with Muse and it keeps getting better! This is our 5th year!

Realizing kindergarten was also just around the corner, I needed to find a school that was honest in their purpose of caring and teaching children. I met with Mrs. Margo, the kindergarten teacher and the director of their Early Childhood Development Program to tour and talk about the school. This was my first and only child and was worried of all the unknowns but went home that day knowing this was the school. Mrs Margo calmed my anxieties making me feel warm, welcomed and safe. Fast forward 9 years and a little sister, we're still here. We, as a family have gained so much words cannot explain. COL has given us not only a quality Christian education but also accountability. They are nurturing and patient with the children being the center of what they do. My children are now in 8th and 2nd grade, doing well in their subjects and love it here. Being a small school, everyone from administration to the teachers and parents are like extended family, everyone looks out for one another and our kids. Even the older students at the school share with the mentoring of the younger ones by reading and playing with them. I feel fortunate my children are able to attend the same school at the same time considering their grade difference; a unique experience they'll always remember. Thank you COL for everything. We have been truly blessed.

I'm a single parent, an essential "blue collar" worker, and I cannot even afford to buy a 1b1b in my own city let alone have my child receive a fulltime Jewish education. Additionally they here really tone deaf things on their website imo (I hope the staff sees my review and realizes I don't mean any bad intent). It says "tuition made affordable". Elementary school tuition is just under $33,000 and that does not include a required temple membership or any of the other fees. They also have listed to "reach out to grandparents and other family members for additional assistance when appropriate". That really rubbed me the wrong way as to me it suggests to me that that I probably have family who could help me pay for it year after year. My advice to any parent or parents in my situation who aren't the stereotypical MOT living the good life in the 310, apply to every LAUSD school that you are interested in through school choice. While the schools you will likely want your child in will have a lottery with hundreds of families competing for spots, you have a chance of getting 1 of them as from what I understand from moms I know. I'm planning on doing this along with enrolling my child at a nearby synagogue for Hebrew School once a week and supplement this all with family events through Chabad and the Jewish Federation. It's not what I wanted ideal but I have limited options.

Milken is constantly coming up with new programs, new ways of doing things, and always trying to improve and expand on the great things they are already providing. Finance and Entrepreneurship is one of the signature programs and our son as a 7th grader was able to get a little taste of it and is excited to learn more. Milken is also passionate about growing the athletic program and has already added a new weight room and indoor training facility at the new campus. They are raising the future Jewish leadership of our country, and we couldn't be happier to be a part of Milken!

I decided to visit PMC since my daughter was attending Le Lycée right next door. I was so impressed by my initial discussion with the school director, Angela. Her energy was magnetic and I knew I'd like her from the start. I didn't know any families sending their children to the school so I hesitated initially (my first visit to the school was during summer break). However, I decided to revisit during the start of the school year and was able to see Angela and Susan in action (both running the Yellow Room). Their energy, their smiles, the organization of the room and most importantly the happy children made it a very easy decision to sign up my son immediately. All the staff at PMC were incredible. They were enthusiastic and kind and really cared so much about every child. My son flourished. It really blew me away at how many performances the children put on during the year, how well they performed and how they were able to retain so much information! It speaks to the incredible teaching skills of the staff. There were ample opportunities to get involved with the classroom/school without any pressure. Also, I loved getting to know all the families. It was quite an international group with many families from Europe. Unfortunately we moved out of the country after my son finished the Yellow Room.
