This little winery located in Tuscany is a gem. It is owned by a family with one daughter, who is typically the host. The mother is the cook and what an amazing chef! Our family did their prix fixe menu option for dinner with the wine pairings from their winery and it was unbelievable! Exceptional if you will. It was a beautiful evening, with a sunset and the gorgeous views of the vines all around. In the morning there was homemade breakfast by the mother of the chateau, with delightful treats, both savory and sweet. It is a little hidden from larger wineries and just a very low key local and upper class experience with this family. They have bikes that you can use while staying here because they are tucked away from the major towns. Additionally, you can hike to a nearby town if you wish. While the room was not large in size, it was adorned with fine embellishments of exquisite taste and yet so simple, it was just the perfect compliment to each room. The lotions and the comfy slippers you could wear really added a level of class. We even were able to take the slippers home with us! It was just a wonderful experience with the stay and the food and I would love to come back. They also do small weddings and it is just so intimate. I hope to visit Corte Domina again soon! read more
