The facilities are basic but clean the showers are really basic but work fine I found an issue with not being able adjust the temperature or going hands free as you have to hold a string gently down to have the shower on - this can make an interesting way of rinsing you self in certain areas etc. The toilets were fine the main toilets were a little tall as they were on bricks when sitting on my toilet could just touch the floors this is a short guy troubles so nothing bad - You are pre warned with the Grand Prix that there is noise and people coming and going through out the day I found that the noise wasn't too bad and slept fine - if I am honest I will come here again for what it is it is a pretty good site my only thing I would recommend to the owner is a little shop just little essentials you may need when camping etc

Emberton offers a great family day out! It has on site parking (which is charged for the up keep of…read morethe park and lakes) There is charge for walking on to the lakes only if you are driving. there is fishing available if you get the right permit etc. Also there is a area for camping and caravans at the back of the lake. There are a couple of parks with in the lakes and the kids love them, one has a big slide that comes through the trees which is great fun for them. There are some lovely walks around the lake and a path so its great for bike rides. There is lots of nice areas which are great for picnics in the summer. there is a cafe which is open at busy times so you can get some lunch or a coffee after your walk. Also in the summer there is ice cream available. this is a really fun family day out.

It is a one stop shop for all your camping and outdoor needs. Any time I have been in there which has been a variety of different times - weekday lunch times and evening and at the weekend there has always been a lot of people on the shop floor waiting to help you. They are also very knowledgeable and if they don't know the answer then they would find someone who does. Prices can be on the expensive side but then to be expected for quality gear. They do have good offers frequently. Free parking within the Kingston Centre.

Not had the need to speak to the staff so not sure how knowledgeable they would be - the staff work between Sports World and Field and Trek so not sure if there would be any staff with a specialism in the outdoors.

The centre boasts a multi-use sports hall, swimming pool, gym, cafe and climbing wall. The front desk staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful with any queries or bookings and the teaching staff in the gym and for the classes are very accommodating. The gym itself is well appointed and never gets so busy that you can't find a machine. The only gripe would be is that often the car park is too full.
