My experience here was not ok. At all. So basically we had to get our hair done for a wedding but last minute our original stylist was sent to the hospital. So we came here as a last minute decision. Appearance is okay nothing too fancy but I have seen worse Whitney did my hair. First of all my hair is natural so I need special care, I asked her for a heat protectant and she was like what u want some grease? At that point I knew it was gonna be a horrible experience. Then when she pulled out the blow dryer with a comb piece that was broken and bent and used it to blow dry my hair I didn't notice it until she put it down , omg I'm sure I had so much unnecessary hairloss Then the style wasn't exactly like the picture and when we pointed it out she said because my hair is natural she can't do it. My hair is long enough to do any style so I was just annoyed all the way. The style did end up nice but the treatment of my hair was horrible and I'm worried about how my hair is gonna be when I take out the hair style. So basically, if u have relaxed hair then maybe ur experience will be better but if u need ur hair professionally done, just don't. If ur natural run away. read more

I arrived at my appointment 15 mins early from 10am. Started on a good note at first yet ended miserably. I requested to Whitney the hair dresser that I wanted my hair washed-conditioned and braided into cornrows. Time goes by hair is already washed and conditioned and dried. I sit in the chair as she gets her self together, starts to part my hair into sections and begins braiding, I didn't like how she kept tugging on my hair as she's braiding she tells me to lower my head, I lowered my head next she tells me to raise my I raise it. But the pulling on my hair was unnecessary. And then there's people walking in and out of the shop, having conversations with strangers directly in my face. Just unprofessional. As she's finished with my hair I wrap my head and placed my wig back on because it's cold outside I don't like the feeling of cold breeze hitting my scalp And she's running her mouth in creole to another customer talking about me. Then this male barber out of no where grabs a plastic bag saying on no put the cat away that wig don't look good on you. At this point I felt humiliated just because I wanted to wear my wig just to cover my head from being cold.
