I split the bruschetta with my friend and boy was it delicious - the tomatoes tasted extremely fresh and the crunch of the toast was amazing. I opted for the risotto and it definitely was one of the better ones I've tasted. There was a ton of flavor packed into the broth and it was creamy enough, but not too overwhelming. I would just say that the there just was a bit too much cheese for me, but it did not deduct from the overall experience. The service was exceptional and quick, totally would recommend!

Lively, but not loud. We had a nice chat with our server, Flavia, who turned out to be the "boss's (Fabio Pezzoli) daughter", and a delightful young woman! Fabio sent out a complimentary bruschetta for us to enjoy with our wine as we settled in. After hearing the specials and scouring the menu we ordered a pizza and a house made fettuccine with a creamy parmesan black pepper truffle sauce. Served with sliced truffles, it was a superb dish! I can honestly say that it was one of the best pasta dishes in recent memory! The pizza was thin, crispy and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed it. For dessert, I enjoyed an espresso and a perfect panna cotta. Caroline simply enjoyed her wine. We closed the restaurant after visiting with Fabio and his friend, a well-known local writer Erik Fosnes Hansen. It was a memorable evening and I'd not only highly recommend this local treasure, but would return in a heartbeat if in Oslo.

The Zereshk Polo uses good quality barberries and saffron. So, I recommend that dish. It comes with chicken in a stew. I also really like the Baghala Polo ba machiche (which is essentially dill rice with butter beans and lamb shank in broth). It is really good comfort food. The Ghormeh Sabzi (Herb lamb stew with kidney beans) is, according to my mother, tastes tinned but its still tasty. The Fesenjan (chicken cooked with walnuts and pomegranate sauce) is also a good option. I like to also order a side order of cucumber / garlic yoghurt.

The owners are a young couple who are extremely professional and passionate about their business. We had such a great experience that we are here again for dinner. Tonight, our server is a young man by the name of Hamed who has the friendliest personality and he is such a hard worker. I strongly recommend to everyone to check out this great place.
