Wow. I had cosmos for the first time the other day at the Kingston location, I got the cheesesteak with provolone, fried mushrooms, sweet peppers. It was amazing, service was fast, friendly employees. I ate at the Scranton location a few days later and it was just as awesome. I visited Cosmo's while I'm on business in Scranton, and I can honestly say they do the Philly cheesesteak right. As a Philly native I tend to try cheesesteaks wherever I go, and Cosmo's really hits the mark. I got one wit with wit whiz and I felt like I was right back in my hometown. Ordered some great cheesesteaks online tonight! Had some special requests for my order which I put in the notes. They called for clarification and I found out I was able to get something for my daughter who is gluten free! Thankful for the workers who took the extra time to call me! I will say the staff was VERY friendly and in all fairness I was there soon after it opened over a year ago or so. In the meanwhile I have stopped eating meat so my view may be limited but even then its vegetarian options weren't that great (everything was just so soggy). read more

The best Philly cheesesteak in the area and it's not even close. It's the closest thing you will find to Pat's and Geno's within an hour drive. Outside of the cheesesteak the only other things I've tried here are the fries- but that's only because the cheesesteaks are so good. Their volcano fries go great with the cheesesteaks and they're smart enough that if you order to go, to put the sauces on the side so that the fries don't get soggy. read more

I have been coming to Cosmos for a few years now and enjoyed the food very much. Last night i went and the owner told us they were closed. Which is okay because it was late and snowing. My cheesesteak craving continued throughout the night and i could barely sleep. I came back today with high hopes to finally satisfy my salivating tastebuds with a juicy cheesesteak. I approached the door with my other cheesesteak enthusiast friends and the owner came out again yelling like an angry liberal would do. I was appalled and won't stand for this injustice that I had to deal with. I fought back and made sure the owner knew he was a real jerk about the situation. Don't give this man your business. He doesn't deserve it. He doesn't know how to properly operate a business. He also has said to me in the past he despises every single customer that has ever stepped foot in Cosmos. He has told me to stay silent about the way he operates but i can no longer stay silent! The world must know about the awful manager and what he thinks!!! 0/10 would not recommend to a friend. read more

This is my favorite place to get a quick bite to eat in Scranton. You can order online which is very convenient or you can order at the counter which is fine too because it only takes about 10 minutes for your order to be done. The fries are amazing and the cheesesteaks are so good and are the closest thing to an authentic Philly cheesesteak. Recommend to anyone in the area. read more

Not sure what all the Cosmo's hype is about. Last time I ate there, the employees left the bathroom door wide open, so my girlfriend and I were inhaling the lovely aroma of the cheese steak 'wit wiz' a 350 lb. man had probably just released in the bathroom while we ate. Always a pleasant atmosphere to eat in. In addition to me tasting sewage with each bite of food I took, there was also pieces of fat throughout the steak and was also very chewy. Overall, a very disgusting and dissatisfying trip to Cosmo's. Will be back never. I give it two thumbs down! read more

We have eaten here quite a few times and it is great every time. I like my cheesesteak with provolone. It may not be a "traditional" cheesesteak, but they are great. I actually like it better than the cheesesteak I had at Pat's in Philly. It is better quality meat and not greasy. read more

Cheesesteaks are surprisedly high quality for Scranton with solid roll and the right amount of meat and cheese. Fries are very good! Very welcoming staff for 7pm on a Sunday night. Kids really like chicken fingers. Portion sizes were perfect. Sign of good food- everything was gone after 20 minutes. And you can walk across the street and get a Krispy Kreme donut for dessert. read more

I was looking for something to eat while I was at a local hotel. So a cheesesteak sounded pretty good so I headed over. I got the regular cheesesteak with provolone grilled onions and peppers. Good prices, portions, taste. Stopped off 81 to get gas and didn't want standard fast food. We don't do wiz, we're from Boston and it's a no no. That said, steak tasted great, no gristle. Perfect amount of American cheese. And the rolls, they are as good as they claim! Onion rings were gross. Fresh cut fries were good, but soggy from the styrofoam. Cosmo is awesome. The best cheesesteak i have ever had in my life. I have no idea what this one reviewer on here is talking about saying there cheesteaks are fatty and grizzly. They are not. I have been there several times and the steak is finely chopped and you can get with or without onions, and your choice of cheese. I choose the wiz, and it always delicious. They're fries are fresh cut fries, just like boardwalk fries, and they are delicious, you can have vinegar on them or cheese or just the way they are. I am glad this place opened up, so many places in this area dont make them right. read more
