I know that Alot of people have said negative things about the service here. But it's a large store with lots of amazing stuff. And let's face it. IT'S a Gun store that you have to be an adult to get in there. You are supposed to be able to walk around and look at the inventory. If you happen to find something. Ask for help or information about it. That being said. I didn't have any problems there. Well other I spent WAY too much money on a few things. But life's a hard thing to do. But having nice and fun things seems to make life just that much more fun. The gentleman who worked me over with all those beautiful things that I wanted knew what he was doing. No hard feelings about it. He knew that I was there to spend money and to leave with a new member of the family. And Boy did he sell me a fun one. DONT BOTHER TRANSFERRING A GUN HERE. The owner is an FFL dealer so I requested that my out-of-state purchase be sent to this gun shop. I called Cosners gun shop to verify that he would accept the order when it arrived. The gentleman who answered the phone (that's putting it kindly) immediately asked what kind of gun I had purchased. When I told him, he quickly told me that he would not accept the order because it is a type of gun that he sells. He rudely then said goodbye and hung up on me. I want this person or the owner to know that because of his actions and horrible customer service skills, he missed the opportunity to have me as a customer. He would have been able to charge me $20-$30 per gun for a transfer fee, the ability to sell me ammunition or a holster, or anything else related to a gun purchase. Because of this man's incredibly rude behavior, I will not ever set foot in Cosners gun shop. There was an opportunity here to gain a customer and future sales and you obviously could care less. I been here few times each time I get poor service. Dave is a jerk to people he makes fun of your gun and I went tonight to sell my 243 and 300 blk out he wanted all my stuff I had on it including all my sites. I told him i needed one to transfer over to new gun he threw a fit like a kid n said I don't want em. I had 4 mags and ammo for them. i just got off of work and didn't take stuff off bc of time crunch and thought I was gonna get ripped off to begin with. None of his rifles comes with sites why should I give mine up i am willing to drive out of town to find a good dealer. Do not go here at all. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. Here is the story, I wanted to purchase a handgun for my Father for Fathers day. As I was looking at a easy to conceal handgun I learned the man behind the counter is not a gun specialist. He does not know what stock is on hand, how to do comparisons or how to discribe or give the histories of anything. He ended up calling the owner 3 times. (Owner was on vacation in FL.) Once to see if he could lower the price of a used gun. Once to find out if he could sell a gun, and once to see if he could sell a gun to my Father and allow me to pay for it. (Fathers day gift). Each time he called the owner the answer was maybe. As it turns out he wasted two days of my time finding out answers. Because I live out of state, he would not allow me to pay, while having my Fathers name on the register because I might take it across state lines??? Really?? If I were to hand my Father the cash in the parking lot and let him walk in on his own it wouldnt have been an issue, but because it was my "out of state" money he would not do it. The shop is not organized and you cant find anything. You have to beg the workers for assistance and the first answer you get is "I dont know" or some BS story, if you are lucky they say something like "we had one but not sure if we sold it or not". The store is dirty and doesnt look as if it has been cleaned in 10 years. Lights are burnt out and it smells...BAD. There is junk items all over the floor that you are not sure if it is for sale or not, maybe an antique, dont ask because they dont know. The shop personnel dont know where anything is and basically would rather talk to each other about gossip than work. They have a vault behind a counter that holds specialty guns that anyone can walk behind and go see, security is so lame that any dishonest person could have a field day. I can only hope Dave (The owner) actually reads this. Maybe he can fire a few ppl and make some money. If it wasnt for the monopoly he owns in Bedford he would never sell a firearm.
