made an appointment over 24 hours in advance with Stylist Monica. I arrived 15 minutes early and was told I wouldn't be served by Monica because I was being treated as a Walk-In and would have to accept "Next Available" status. WTF? If I wanted my hair cut by Amy I would have made the appointment with Amy, either way I would have to wait. What a bunch of hateful people. read more

Give this place a triple zero on review, went Tuesday with my 83 year old neighbor to get her hair cut and washed was spoken to very rude one person working. Went back today waiting over thirty minutes with no luck. Manger Monica Shockley declined to have the one only one stylist for her hair. One costing more to keep the lights on two young girls literally not doing nothing talking and playing. Hours 8 to 8 also not true closing at 4:00 pm. This place when it was Holiday hair was always full people waiting to get haircuts. This store should close immediately. Learn how to treat customers maybe you would have more business. To speak to an 83 year old lady they say they did today is absolutely unbelievable. Never go here. When asked for cooperates phone number told to look it up myself same for district number. Today I went to Cost Cutters for a cut and style. I am new in the area but not new to hairdressing. I read the reviews before I booked my appointment and decided not to believe the negative reviews. Having delt with disgruntled clients I have the experience to know what to believe and to take with a grain of salt. Most could not communicate with the stylist or were just having a bad day and decided that the stylist, who was trying to please them, did not do their bidding. Putting that all aside I booked my appointment on line, When I got there (ON TIME) I was pleasantly greeted. My hair is fine and thin and not easy to style even by the most accomplished and I mentioned this to the friendly receptionist before I met the stylist. Since it was my first time, I let them pick out who would best suit my needs. I brought several pictures with me to show her what I liked and did not like about a particular style during our initial consultation. Always take a picture. What you see may not work for your hair and they would know they have the education and experience. I watched her work and knew before she was even completed that this was going to be a great cut and it is! I will be back and she will have a regular client. Pleasant and professional is how I would describe the very knowledgeable individual. I can communicate with her and we are on the same page. I judged my entire experience on the 30 years I worked in a salon and how I wanted to be treated. I like the people they are professional and the salon was clean. What more can I say. Make an appointment, ask questions, be respectful and leave a good cash tip. read more

I am so bitter about my experience at this salon. Some months back I took a chance on them, made an appointment online, and had a decent haircut, although no one told me beforehand that the shampoo was $10 extra, and so was the blow dry, and they add an automatic $10 tip, so if you don't watch the computer while you check out, you won't believe your receipt. This week I made sure to make an appointment online (same as last time), got my email confirmation, and showed up on time. I was told I had no appointment and when I tried to show the woman in charge my confirmation, she waved me away, saying that doesn't matter, "they" have to remove that system because it doesn't work with the one we have here. I was stunned by the completely callous disregard this place has for their customers. They didn't even pretend they were going to try and cut my hair; boss lady decided my appointment didn't exist and I left near tears. read more

I called on a busy Friday and even though they were shorthanded, Monica agreed to squeeze me in. She told me the price up front, asked what I wanted and I walked out with the best hair style I've had in 3 years. They are shorthanded but are willing to work with you if you call them. same thing...I made appt. online and when I got there was told that didnt matter they were short handed and couldnt see me. Never again !!
