This was such a great meal! After a terrible meal at the Mexican restaurant in Fulton and another bad one in Red Bay, I didn't have high hopes! But it was SO good! Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had chicken fajitas, lunch special and he had a taco, burrito combo, lunch special. Mine was $9.99 and his was $6.99. I wish I had taken a pic of his because his burrito was HUGE and FULL of tons of chicken. My fajitas were absolutely delicious. And the margaritas were super delicious as well. We love this place. Definitely try the mexican fries for an appetizer. They are the bomb, and we order every time we eat here which is about 3-4 times a month. Very friendly staff and a very clean restaurant. I love the salsa and queso. Large portions sizes and I proudly take my friends and family here. Never disappointed! The beef in the beef fajitas was not good at all, a little chewy and no flavor, but I was happy they had tomatoes in the vegetables. We ate dinner here one night while camping at Tishomingo State Park. I think we walked in right after a rush of patrons left for the local high school football game because every table was dirty and the servers were running around in a panic. It was seat yourself, so we literally found the cleanest dirty table available. It took a while before we were acknowledged and waited on, but service was fine once the crew seemed to recover from the rush. The food was typically Mexican food that you would expect at a local restaurant. The salsa was good. The margaritas were ok (we were just glad they served them!!) The fajitas here are wonderful! I had the combination with the shrimp...next time I will just have the shrimp they were the best I have ever had. We have been many times over the years when visiting Tiffin for work on our motorhome. I have enjoyed the Speedy Gonzales and this time ventured out for something different. OH my it was good. If you like spicy ask for some of the hot salsa ... it is HOT but very good. We mix it with the regular salsa. SO had the taco salad and really enjoyed that as well. read more

We ate here last year when we were visiting Red Bay and had a great experience. Unfortunately, though it is a Mexican restaurant in the same location, there was nothing about our experience this year that was the same. We were never offered drink, salsa or chip refills. One plate came out more than 5 minutes before the other one of us got our food. I ordered the carnitas. The menu said they came with guacamole, rice, beans and tortillas. It took 3 times asking 2 different waiters for the tortillas. They were fresh and hot when I finally got them, but the carnitas weren't by the time the tortillas came. My plate had about 1/4 of a teaspoon of guacamole and maybe a spoonful of charro beans. (The refried beans on my husband's plate were much better than the charros BTW.) Plus, there weren't a whole lot of carnitas to spread amongst the tortillas. And to sum it all up, I bit down on a good size bone in the carnitas. Between the poor service and the sub-par food, we won't be back. read more

Great place for a late lunch in Belmont, MS. I enjoyed the chili relleno and taco plate. The Relleno was very good and the sauce covering it was excellent. The taco meat could have been a bit more spicy but adding the salsa to it fixed that. Husband had the chicken chimichanga topped with cheese sauce that looked great too but I am glad I stocked with the chili relleno. The service was great, seated immediately and drinks and chips were brought to the table quickly. There was a lunch buffet but it didn't have Mexican food so we opted for items from the menu. Very clean place and busy for a Saturday afternoon. Lunch prices were good on Saturday until 3:00 and the servings were plentiful. Really enjoy eating here when we are in town. Clean well decorated and waitstaff are very nice . I enjoyed roe hard shell beef tacos and the were delicious. Hubby got the rib eye steak and it comes w salad rice and beans. He really enjoyed the steak and also his rice and beans. The prices are very very reasonable. read more

This place used to be really good. Came about 6 months ago and thought maybe it was an off day since food was subpar. Meat small and tough in burrito. Not to mention way over salted. Used a bad mix for margarita or just wasn't made by someone who knew what they were doing. Decided to tray again and give them another chance and food was worse. You could tell it has gone down since there were only 5 people in there for lunch. The place used to be so crowded you had to wait to be seated. Maybe stop buffet and just focus on individual meals. Came back to campground and a few other people were speaking about how the place isn't any good anymore. Sad to see for such a small town that needs good restaurants.
