We are relatively new Costco members which means we are also new to Costco Gas. This is a high volume, fast paced gas station. You are expected to pull in, get your gas, and get moving -- so as not to hold up the line. Prices, like Costco, are much lower that non-Costco gas stations. It's VISA or MasterCard only - no cash, no other credit cards. The station has a lot of pumps and the lines move quickly. If you're a Costco member, you can definitely save money buying Costco gas. read more

Costco Gas offers gas to Costco members only! I stopped in at Costco Gas while in Columbus. I had absolutely no idea that it's members-only experience. It's very confusing because as a visitor you can still initiate a transaction, but then get stopped and denied if you are not a member (message displayed at the pump after swiping credit card). It would be good to have a sign upfront that members only are allowed. If you are a member, you'll swipe your Costco card or ID to get started. Don't forget these items at home! The gas station is staffed by an attendant. Be careful driving in, the attendant walks in front of cars. He's there to assist with any questions or issues you may encounter, which is useful. This gas station is very close to the highway. The gas station has ample room but gets extremely crowded. By that I mean every pump is busy and has a line. I wouldn't advise going around dinner (before closure) on Sunday. The gas station closes very early 7:30 PM on Sunday. read more

If you're a longtime Costco member like me, you know Costco is "the" place to go for the lowest price on gasoline, either for 87 octane or 93. Not the easiest to get to, but still pretty close to the warehouse. The attendant is always out walking around willing to help you out. When paying, I tried to use the Credit card tap, but it didn't work for me--they need to fix that. Other than that, it's a pretty speedy process. read more

Nothing too special here - the price was good and they have those extra long hoses that will stretch to either side of your car, which was really nice, though I was lined up correctly for my vehicle. At 1 on a Friday all of the pumps had a 1-2 car line, but it went pretty quickly. I didn't need anything extra, so just gas. I did see that they had well-posted assistance hours for those who need a hand at the pump (every day, nearly all day). Actually, I really liked this - you don't see it too often! read more

Low prices; in fact, this is the main way we save money at Costco (since we rarely go inside.) The gas savings completely offsets the cost of the (basic) annual membership. They are always among the lowest in town, and the three locations are generally within a few cents of each other. Still, this location is my least favorite. It is hard to get to, with a maze of little streets in the shopping mall. And the space itself is by far the smallest, and gets a bit cramped even at off times. So: good prices, convenient if you're up this way, a bit small and chaotic. read more

Friendly staff always walking around making sure everybody is happy. I love that they have staff members walking around making sure everything is ok and to answer any questions or assist with any pump issues. The gas is always about 10 cents cheaper than the surrounding area. I get better gas mileage using Costco gas, I'm not sure if it's a better grade of gas or maybe a higher quality gasoline, either way it's good stuff! I really appreciate the long hoses so people can fill up on wither they have a right or left side gas tank. read more

For those who are members, you know you can never beat the cost of Costco gas! Despite the numerous filling stations in the Polaris area, Costco is always the cheapest gas around. Unlike its sister location near Easton, these gas pumps can be a bit tricky to get to. You have to travel down what appears to be a dead end road and slingshot around the Duluth Trading Company to get to the pumps. The same is true with the oddly placed stop signs to get out of the filling area. I was a bit flummoxed by the long lines in only a few lanes here. While I'm sure the rush hour traffic contributed to the long lines, I also noticed not everyone utilized the "pull to the front" feature, or the long hoses to accommodate tanks on both sides of the vehicle. Why are you trying to be like trout swimming upstream, folks!?!? There are two pumps in a one way lane for a reason. Those hoses swivel and reach over the largest SUVs. Friendly attendants are also always present to help customers, as well as plenty of trash bins to clean out the car while fueling up. read more

This station is a go to for me when I am traveling through the area. It is fairly convenient off the highway and their prices are much better than other gas stations. It is always a very busy location, but the pumps are quite fast, so the line moves quickly. It is clean and well lit. The attendant is always visible. I have to say, the Costco membership is worth the discount on gas alone! So recently I have started coming here to get gas as it is the cheapest out of all the places near here. I would imagine its usually the cheapest since you have to pay to have a membership here. But the gas station is always very clean no matter when I go, the staff is always super friendly and asks how the day is going or other friendly question. The staff members are always willing to answer any question you have The location of this is great as it is near my house along with being in on the outside of Easton so its easy to get in and out. Really the only negative of this gas station is that you have to pay for a membership which might discourge some folks who do not want to pay to be able to go to the gas station or even the store that the membership would get you access to. read more

Costco gas can't be beat! The price is cheaper than the going rate, and they have long hoses so you can pull in on either side without looking dumb! The station is one-way, so you aren't supposed to pull around the opposite direction, but the long hoses accommodate everyone. read more

I am a new member to Costco so I have never gone to get gas with Costco. I just got off an 11 hour shift at the mall and went straight here to get gas and air for my tire. Right before I pulled in I noticed the car that had pulled in just before me had a cone placed behind them and all the other cars were getting that too. Keep in mind, there is also no one else behind me. I am the last car. Being new, I wasn't sure what was going on. I noticed the employee was yelling at someone in their car and I was ready to leave right then just based on that but I was on E and needed gas. I finally got the employee to look my way. I tried to wave him over but he turned his head so I yelled out of my window that I had a question and I was just ignored. So I had to get out of my car and go tell him I am a new member and I am just wondering what the process is. He proceeded to tell me in an extremely rude tone he has to close and walked away from me. Like I said, I am a new member and I wasn't aware it's not 24/7 self service like most places. As someone who works in customer service, I understand it can be stressful especially a Sunday. I understand he had to close. That is not however, any way to treat a customer especially someone who tells you they are a new customer. I will personally never be returning to Costco for gas. Everyone that helped me inside the warehouse when I got my membership was such a delight! I was so taken back by the treatment from this employee. read more

Always cheaper gas here just the fact they have the longer fuel hoses so you can reach either side of the car....they solved the game of merry-go-round that all other gas stations are crippled by to get your fuel door on the correct side of the pump - genius read more

Some of easier and cheaper gas (thankfully) in the immediate area. Always clean, wonderfully lit and never takes too long.

Oh my goodness I really like COSTCO but did you know not all COSTCO are created equal? Take for a instance this COSTCO here in Columbus Ohio. We were vacationing and on the return trip home, thought we venture of course a wee bit to get some diesel gasoline to top off our tanks before completing our return trip home. Well after traveling down several roads and enduring two trains and finally arriving at COSTCO, no diesel gas! The real kick-in-the-pants is that I telephoned three times trying to make sure before we ventured out and NO ONE WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE!
