This is one of the few Costcos in the GTA that has a gas station... it's a massive one. 16 pumps in total and they're the special hose that can streeeeeettttch so you dont have to line up to one side specifically. The other massive plus... you save at least 9 cents if not more compared to everywhere else. So why the 3.5 stars... the entry and exit is a nightmare. Because its so popular, it is not unusual to have the line up go out the gas station area, out the Costco Lot, go pass the road and spill onto the Queensway. This is not an exaggeration. It is a weekend reality. And if you're here for the long weekend, may you have a good coffee in hand cause you're going to be waiting for a long ... long ... long time. We're easily talking 25+ minutes. I recommend to head here when Costco store is NOT open. The gas station has earlier and later hours than the actual store. Not by much but at least 2 hours in the morning and an hour afterwards. You can probably get in and out within 10 minutes sometimes. This is considered a modern day miracle. Overall, I would say the pumps isnt confusing but so many people dont know their pins or take forever to read the screens or are completely confused that you need to slide in the Costco card first. I took the one on the far left, The gas price was cheaper than what I saw in Markham by two cents. It seemed appealing to take advantage of this cheaper price here. This gas station was clean. I managed to get rid of an empty drink cup by using the garbage receptacle nearby. I had no problem paying at the pump. I inserted my Petro Points card, followed by my 407 ETR savings card, and then my credit card. I then had the gas pumping hands-free while I used a squeegee on my car's back windshield. I didn't go into the Neighbours convenience store. I saw many folks going in, including a TTC bus driver. He had parked his bus on Bathurst Street, right behind where I was. I thought, at first, that he was a staffer at the store. The man inside Neighbours and the TTC driver were both wearing red polo shirts. The Neighbours staffer looked out the window often. It was a bit creepy after a while. Either he was bored out of his mind or was tracking everyone. It's a good gas station to fill up your car's gas tank. My back windshield looks clean! This is a typical gas station that is at a southeast corner of Major McKenzie and McCowan. They have 4 grades of gas and also diesel. We came to this gas station because it was 5 to 7 cents cheaper than most gas stations in a 15 km radius. Actually there is an Esso a major block south that has the same price but that was out of our way. Tip: I use the "GasBuddy" app to find cheaper gas. The station was bright and clean. It has windshield squeegee using water (wasn't soapy water). There is a touchless car wash and it must be popular because there was a lineup of 8 cars at 8:00 pm on a Sun. I spotted this Petro-Canada and dropped by. I have visited this location for a number of years. I never have had a problem filling up here. There is always a free pump for me to use. The area is clean. All is well. I didn't have a chance to walk into the convenient store. It looked pretty busy, as I saw a number of folks park in front of it, go in, and come out. This location has a car wash. I typically don't use it, as the rollers produce swirl marks that are noticeable, especially on dark-coloured cars. Fuel pump was in good working condition. There were plenty of paper towels and squeegees for cleaning the vehicle. The station was bright and clean. The pumps have the newer and larger displays, which are easier to read and use. I normally don't get a receipt printed at the pump, but today I did! Bonus! There is a small Tim Horton's inside, but this is a very busy intersection, so lineups can be long.
