Wow what can I say. For food, there is no place better in Sheffield to go if you're planning a party. 18 inch pizza trays that hardly fit in your oven. As many buns as you can fit in your trolley, all at American sized portions (big). Massive bags of sweets and crisps and freezers full of catering sized packs of cheesecakes and burgers. The bargains don't stop after the checkouts either with the food court. Jacket potatoes, chicken bakes, shepherds pies and pizza slices that are about 700 (million) calories a pop and free refills on the fizzy drinks. Definitely worth a look round if you can. read more

Costco is a chain of Cash & Carry warehouses similar to Makro. They charge a yearly membership fee and you must either be a trade customer or work in a certain type of job to be eligible to join. It's worth noting that they only except payment via cash, cheque and debit card. Credit Cards are not accepted. They stock a wide range of goods, from appliances, electricals, bedding, beers wines and spirits, catering/cleaning goods, furniture, gardenware, office products, clothing, toys, books, bakery, butchers, fresh food etc etc. The one in Sheffield also has a digital photocentre and tyre centre. In addition to this, they also sell hot food after the checkouts where you can get cheap pizza, cakes, jacket potatoes, hot dogs etc. They also do 18 takeaway pizzas at a bargain £7.33! What seems to be their motto is the best quality goods at the lowest possible prices. This means the majority of their stuff are all brands you have heard of and recognise as being renowned for quality. If you are eligible for membership I'd definitely recommend a trip round if they'll give you a day pass. read more

A great place for value. Visited them today to join, then i went around "just to have a look" ended up buying with £99. For big quantities, standard family and long period shopping, no other place could be compared with Costco, some items are 50% and more cheaper than anywhere with same quality and same standard and same product! I am really happy to know about it. read more

You can get everything here and things you never thought of! how about for £1200 a double sized self contained corner jacuzzi bath, totally incased- with steam, 2 seats, a radio/cd/dvd player, telephone and surround sound!! just a few yards from there you can also buy lovely cakes and fresh and frozen food.Fresh veg/Exotic fruits Great selection of fine wines/ champagne- bollinger only £23 pounds a bottle. If your planning a party at home or anywhere, this place is a must because you will find nearly everything under one roof. Take lots of money though because you will overspend-there's so much worth buying and cheap too. read more

I Agree Costco is a great concept. As a retailer in these tough times , i find it very very frustrating how many Non - trade people use this trade warehouse. It is as openly blatant as Makro and JTF. Take away the Doctors, dentists ,solicitors ,OAP's and bored housewives and they'd have no customers. Trade my ar** as Jim Royle would say . read more
