Before the Costco on Buffalo was built I have switched my main go-to Costco location a couple of times, hoping to find an easier atmosphere to shop in. When the new Costco on Buffalo opened, which is the closest to me, I was thrilled and was also hoping the shopping experience would be what I was looking for. I have been so happy with my store! Of course, it is busy (what Costco isn't?), but the parking lot design is great, the employees have all been awesome, and the shoppers are generally pleasant - a wonderful overall experience! I want to give a special mention to two employees who both go out of their way to help, say hello, and are so friendly, and just are all-around great at what they do - Josh and Marcus! They represent Costco so well! I am so happy with my location that I now get gas only from their gas station and am now getting most of my groceries at Costco as well. I definitely give Costco on Buffalo a solid 5-star review! read more

Hey look, it's Costco in our area! Thank goodness! Where can I start? They have a great selection of everything you need in large portions. We stocked up on paper goods, water, various foods, breakfast items, laundry detergent and so much more. They also have an array of electronics and a restaurant with tasty meal selections, including delectable hot-dogs, savory chicken bakes and pizza! The customer service was great, and our cashier gave us shopping tips and was super friendly. I love the fantastic value for your money here. Needless to say, I was wonderfully surprised when I learned this location opened just minutes from our timeshare property in Spring Valley. We have been coming here for 10 years, and we were told back in August of 2025. We have been going to the Summerlin location for years, but now that it is open, it will definitely be our number one choice. I have noticed that some of the one-star reviews are, for lack of a better word, completely untrue. If I didn't know any better, I would think someone paid people to lie. I have been a Costco member for more than 2 decades. I have visited dozens of Costco warehouses from coast to coast, and I know for a fact that some of these reviews are false. Here are the Highlights: 5 Fuel pumps per lane (which we have never seen) Great Food Options, including a New Calzone food item Vicinity to the Expressway Self Checkout Clean floors and bright lighting (probably because it is only 5 months old...LOL) Great gas prices Friendly Tire Center staff (I needed some tire valve caps on the day we visited) The only con I have is the parking, which is a bit restricted for safety reasons. Buying produce has become a gamble. It's incredibly frustrating to open a bag and find that 20% of it is already rotten. It was a bag of onions and broken eggs last time, and now it's the limes. I expect better quality from Costco, and it's disappointing to keep running into the same issue. I don't have the time or energy to return the items but it's also the waste of money, especially with grocery prices continuing to rise. read more

They built a brand new costco around the corner from me and I was pleased by the store overall. I am single so I dont need tons of items for kids etc. I loaded up on toilet paper which was super soft & paper towels, razors etc. I like to get their 10pk of grilled chicken bites and also for two pillows last nite. Friendly service & surprisingly pretty efficient lines as well. Depending on what you need, they have so many items from furniture to toys to clothing to food & alcohol etc. Good prices for the quality for sure. I tried the $9.99 pepperoni pizza it was pretty large square size so a bit difficult to put in the oven but it was pretty decent taste wise. I like the soft serve vanilla ice cream too. I however just dont like the AT&T or window sales pitch people. I say no I am not interested so just let it be. In general I like the establishment so I will be back in the future. read more

I love coming here and I always buy something I don't need like these new Dubai style lattes that are now my favorite. Usually I have a list and am prepared but I can't help myself to look around just incase something looks interesting. Whoever came up with this concept is pretty smart. Free samples, constantly move things around so nothing is ever in the same place, and offer "deals" that aren't real deals but they appear to be great ones. Brilliant! And after spending a few hundred dollars reward yourself with a $2 pizza to put a smile on your face. :) read more

Brand new Costco location on Buffalo in Las Vegas, I had to check it out during my short Vegas trip. I wanted to see what products I can bring back that Hawaii Costco doesn't carry and also wanted to look for some local products to give away while visiting. I heard they have local products like saimin, Redondos & the Golden Coin brand char siu manapua buns, I usually bring this up but they were all out. I wanted to get moon cake but none was available, think sold out-?) We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon after 2 pm and wasn't bad not like back on Oahu with the crazy crowd (too many people) and lines! It was pretty smooth. I enjoyed looking around, observing. They have a nice selection of Asian products, I was looking for salted duck eggs which they only had the last 4 package left. They have Tocino spam, one of my favorite flavors. Noticed some products that is not available at Hawaii yet. I need to get the Momofuku chili crunch, debating if i want to spend $16. for one jar, maybe next time. What did I end up buying: the super nice Las Vegas bottle of wine ($29.99) that the cashier mentioned it was specially made for this Costco location & limited bottles, salted duck eggs, fancy packaging of tuna from Spain & bag of quail eggs. The food court is right near across the cash register, I noticed they have Coca Cola products & Calzone ($6.99) I wanted to try since Oahu doesn't have that yet but ended up not since I was still full from lunch. The lines were long but moved quick, cashier was super nice, there was a problem with the salted eggs, it wasn't in the system. They manage to ring me up despite the issue, got to explore, shopped, and out of there quick for our next stop. **OH & the gas station is the largest ever with 40 pumps and only $2.97 gallon for unleaded. This is a brand new Costco, OK, just a few months old now. But I think the newness extra big crowds has died off now, so it's just a normal Costco crowded. I got here right at opening they don't open when I got gas at 6am. No lines then! The usual Costco customs are followed here, walking in scan you card and go on in. The food court is in the usual place and the hot dogs are still $1.50! Did you know adjusted for inflation, from 1985 the year the Costco Hot Dog came out at $1.50 till today, that hot dog combo should cost $4.50! Would you pay $4.50 today for that? I think only maybe half of the people would! 1985 the Costco hot dog deal came out .... shit I wasn't even born yet! I'm just visiting Las Vegas, but since this is a new Costco, might as well check it out. I see in the paper products section, the bathroom tissue is all in stock, no shortages here! There's a few Las Vegas only branded products around. Yep, no snow shovels in stock, like in the Redding, California store where I live. I did find some clothes to purchase, and it's fine if I need to do a return cause if they don't fit, I can just bring them back to any Costco I want. First time rating a gas station and of course it has to be Costco Gas! This location has been open for 2-3 weeks, but the warehouse won't open until August 21. Not many people are here yet, so get your gas now before the crowds arrive! Even though I don't live in the southwest area, I'm so excited for this spot. It has 40 pumps, the biggest in Nevada, and the warehouse will be 1.5 times larger than the Summerlin location. The friendly workers even came by to say hello and chat since it was slow. My first time at the new location. The parking lot is very spacious and the gas station seems bigger than average. The produce and dairy walk ins seem smaller than average and seems to be offering less options. Dissapointed that there is no organic or Kerrygold unsalted butter available. Bakers need unsalted butter options please. However, blue shelled chicken eggs and duck eggs are a unique find. The bakery seems smaller. Very pleased to see the bottled water is in an easy-to-maneuver aisle (not stuck in a corner like the Summerlinlocation). The tire auto center is open concept inside the main warehouse which sends the unpleasant aroma of tires wafting in the air as you pass by. But, Interstate brand batteries! Overall, it's a nice welcome addition to the city but I was hoping for an improvement on the layout and the availability of certain desired food options [only found at the business warehouse on MLK]. read more

First time in this new location and new is always nice in the sense that it always seems cleaner and nicer. The parking lot is also really spacious. The layout is pretty much the same as other Costco's. This location also has pharmacy, hearing aids, eye and optics, and food court. There is a pretty nice sushi and poke section near the roast chicken area. The seafood section seems bigger than other Costco's; while the produce and dairy areas seem a little smaller than other locations. Wish the self checkout area is bigger. Who doesn't love Costco? This Costco is brand spanking new and new is always nice! New carts, new floors, new items, freshly trained new friendly employees! I love seeing the set up of new stores. This one was interesting in that the food court is directly across from people checking out. Maybe this is anticipated to be a slow location (jk) but I see a lot of congestion happening around lunchtime, dinner time and every minute of Saturday and Sunday. Always fun to visit! This is the newest Costco to hit Vegas.. I will say the layout is pretty much the same as the others. We went right before closing and it was still crowded, long lines in the self check out the cashiers were faster. They have a bigger Hawaii selection now snacks and food items as you can see in my pictures. They have all the usual items meats and veggies produce and milk and eggs all well stocked. On this day they were giving out lots of samples more than usual. No complaints here I may have tried everything they were giving out.. My family and I were in town and headed to the newest Costco first. It's large in size and not that crazy at 9 am. Insides looks like any other Costco and they have some Hawaiian stuff that we don't see in LA. Hawaiian Soda, Hawaiian char sui buns, Portuguese sausages, Hawaiian take out food packet. I didn't see much Xmas stuff on the floor. Plenty of cashiers and self check out cashier. The food court is inside. The gas station line is huge too. read more

Ugh! Like pissed ugh! So I stop in today to grab a few things for my upcoming Christmas party... during my store strolling I come across the bakery and see the creamy blueberry muffins and I'm not usually a sweets type of gal but they were calling me today so I pick up the qty 6 pack and kept it moving... I get home and after cleaning up I'm like hmm one of the muffins sound good right now! I was like should I have it with coffee but opted for a Coke Zero instead but I sliced the muffin and on my last piece it had ONE blueberry berry, like why? It is still new enough and without the actual Costco being opened yet, that there is practically zero wait time to gas up here. So getting in and out of here is still a lot less congested compared to other established Costco locations. So definitely a 5 out of 5 right now. But will definitely get more congested once the usual volume picks up from the main Costco at this location opens. So not looking forward to traveling on this stretch of Buffalo once this Costco opens. read more

Andrea was the worst cashier I have ever interacted with. She blamed us for her mistake, snatched my ID from my hand, and repeatedly said, "Have the day you deserve." My family had already been having a difficult day, and her behavior only made the experience worse. I am very disappointed that someone with such a disrespectful attitude is allowed to interact with guests. Her tone throughout the interaction was unprofessional and rude. Customer service employees should treat guests with respect, regardless of the situation, and unfortunately, that was not the case here. I love this new Costco! I like the layout and flow from the entrance to the exit, as well as the separate entrance specifically for returns (which my Costco doesn't have). The product selection at this Costco far exceeds any location I've been to. Also, is this the largest Costco?! It feels huge! Idk if it's the layout or what but it feels like it's massive. Brand new Costco in the southwest area. We waited out for a little until the crowd dies down. Very clean you can tell already when walking inside. Everything is nicely organized and big selection of stuff. The carts all looked clean and I saw someone wiping them down too. We got our typical groceries for the week and found some new items. We bought our first Hexclad frying pan from the vendor inside. Very informative about the products. Everything was usual Costco prices for great value. We noticed there was a lot of samples in almost every aisle too. The sample employees were friendly and efficient. We signed up for our costco credit card and the customer service counter did an amazing job. He explained everything easily for us to understand. Went To check out opening day... but waited for the kaos to cool down so got there Late around Almost 8:00pm... lol Parking was still Very Full, and Buzy... in the day time everyone was parked in the dirt Lot... and Traffic was Nutz! Wow this new Costco in Las Vegas is huge! They have a larger selection of Asian food here which is awesome for us. I picked up a dry miso pack that I've never seen before and some ramen packs and poke. I highly recommend to download the Costco app! It has the coupon deals and you can link your card to the account to scan your membership at the front entrance and at the register. Costco has the best deals by far and we appreciate this new location opening up in the southwest area of Las Vegas! read more

I have visited this spot a couple of times since opening and both times were pretty pleasant. The first visit was during the opening weekend. As chaotic as I expected it to be, it was honestly not really chaotic. The aisles and areas are wide enough to support multiple carts and people. The layout was also pretty easy to figure out and it seemed like there were a lot of employees around to assist with any questions. They had a huge variety of items and I was surprised at how well the staff kept the products stocked and arranged neatly. The prices were also very good, as expected for a Costco--especially one with the opening weekend being at that time. There were also plenty of samples (a wide variety) that were also hard to pass up and even purchase. Honestly, I was glad to have checked out this store during opening weekend. The staff members were able to help us find a few items that we had no idea where to look. They were all very helpful and made it easy for us to just get in and grab some stuff and get out. Although they had both the self check out and assisted lanes, for some of the stuff the assisted lanes went more quickly. The gas lines were also next to nothing since they have plenty of pumps and lanes. Honestly, it's all laid out well and I think this helps with the flow of traffic and just made it easier to move around and shop. I bought these shrimp wonton soup in the regular ramen aisle not really looking at it, i looking at the directions as it says MUST BE KEPT FROZEN TO MAINTAIN SAFETY, and they were not even in a frozen section. this is very concerning workers need to look carefully at where they are stocking items. read more

This was my first trip to this new location which has been open under a month. It seems as if most processes are streamlined. There is a large variety of products in every area. The parking lot is huge and has pretty clear lane markers to ensure safety when entering and exiting the parking lot. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They have lots of items that I had been looking for a great bulk prices. I also checked out the gas station which had just opened and it is huge. Each lane has 4 pumps on every side so even on a Saturday at around lunch time, there wasn't a line. The food court was popping but they also had some standup tables available which was something I hadn't seen before. read more

This was by far the WORST experience I've ever had at Costco. Yesterday, I went shopping with my wife and our child. Our daughter was about to fall asleep, so my wife took her to the car. I stayed behind with just two items and went to self checkout. Some old Filipino lady scanned my card and suddenly demanded that my wife had to be present. As I tried to explain the situation, she loudly screamed "Supervisor!" not once, but three times. Supervisor was like 40 ft away. It drew everyone's attention as if I had done something wrong. People around me started staring, and it felt humiliating. When the supervisor arrived, instead of handling it calmly, I was treated with cold, dismissive looks. I even asked if I could just leave the items, but the attitude I received was shocking. This felt extremely disrespectful and discriminatory. There was no reason to shout or escalate such a simple situation. For a company of this size, the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy is unacceptable. read more

Customer service could be better. Came to ask a question about returns at the Member Services Team Desk, got a smart-ass response from the lady at the counter. I asked how she's doing today, and she couldn't even look at me to acknowledge my existence (kept staring at a piece of paper). She just said, "what can I do for you?" I asked if she could clarify about a previous conversation I had on the phone with an associate about returns and store credit, and she responded "everyone here knows membership" and kept repeating that, while I was just trying to get clarification about what I was told over the phone. Customer service and policies are inconsistent and when trying to be clear with all of it, you get attitude from workers. Even after I explained the possible card mix-up with my fiancée, she insisted I had no right to enter and spoke in a tone that embarrassed me in front of others. This behavior is unacceptable. Went in to get a membership. The line took a bit to get through but as expected, so no big deal. Once we got to the front, the team member kept pushing us to get the higher membership. Saying "I know what I'm doing. I've been doing this for 18 years." How we have kids and we're going to want to upgrade for diapers and formula and stuff. That left a sour taste in our mouth. We had already told her we didn't want to upgrade and that this was just a test run to see how often we'd be going but she wouldnt stop and pretty much told us we don't know what we're doing. Hated that part. But love that we have a Costco around the corner from us. Would not like to run into this team member again. She was just rude and undermining. read more
