Came here for a flat iron that's on special 2 days ago. My gf that is a hair dresser said it's a good starter brand and deal here. $49.99 for the fiat iron with the $20 discount. Can't wait to try it out. It was time to renew the membership as well, $60 for the business membership.

Love the Golden Island, Korean BBQ pork jerky. Great aroma when opening the bag. Good chew and flavors. I enjoy it as road food. Caution, it is a bit sticky, so it is wise to have a few wet naps or baby wipes handy so as to spread its sticky, flavor good throughout the car.

Shop at this location all the time. It's their rules that are too stiff. Other than that it is ok.

The Livonia location is basically the only one I've been to, so maybe that's why I'm so happy with it.

Weather was nice today so we didn't mind a short walk. Had a short list of stuff to buy so we were in and out very quickly. Something new happened when we were ready to check out. A young man asked us if he could scan our goods while waiting inline and then when we got to cashier we would just have to pay. Worked out great. Did not have to unload the cart so it was pretty quick. Would like to see if it happens when the lines are super long. Cannot think of any issues when buying at this location.

Then asked to borrow the right bit to take the luggage nuts off the tire so I could take it to get fixed. They refused. I offered my license and charge card to hold while my vehicle was less than 10 feet from the service bay. Nope, it's your fault for ordering the wrong tire. I DIDNT ORDER ANYYHING, YOU DID.!!! I drove to 7 different places to get the right bit for the luggage nuts. Went back in and asked again, please can I use that luggage nut bit??? NO, you should have ordered the right tire. He said he was right there when we did it. Finally went to Bell tire and they gave us the right bit for the lugs even though they didnt have the tire I needed. Got the rim off and took tire to get fixed. Put tire back on and went back to Bell Tire and gave them their bit back. Had the prick at COSTCO given me the bit in the first place I could have been home by 1pm. As is, it is almost 6pm and we are just getting the tire. There is no value in asking for help at COSTCO. THEY SUCK!!!!!I will never use COSTCO for tires ever again.

I don't return things which I guess where people deduct stars, not enough return staff or their attitudes are negative, so I can't speak on behalf of the yelpers there. But I will say I love bjs, I think it's better than Costco. Bj's always has one item out of stock when I come here, I think it's a sign telling me I don't need everything on my list. One star off for that because out of stock once or twice is one thing, but everytime I'm here it's a common thing! PLEASE UPDATE FOOD HUT AT THE FRONT OF THE STORES BY THE CASHIERS! The food station where they serve cookies, hot dogs, popcorns at the front of the store recently increased their prices for everything. I always loved my $1 cookie and $1 popcorn, now it's like almost $3 for a popcorn and almost $4 for a cookie! I am boycotting the food station until the prices either go back to their price before or quantity gets bigger. There's no reason for the price increase. The items come frozen and are placed on their ovens or grills just like they always had. So that's a 2/5 experience 4/5 stars overall

Once my mom realized her mistake, we tried to dry her hearing aid at home and insert a new battery- to no avail. In desperation, I called and spoke with Keith in the hearing aid department and he encouraged me to bring in the hearing aid ASAP so they could attempt to dry out the water in their special hearing aid dryer. They made no promises but continued to attempt to dry the hearing aid over several cycles to try to regain functionality. Finally, they were able to breathe some new life into the hearing aid. Despite their efforts, the hearing aid is not the same but is somewhat functional. What counts here is the team effort! Emma worked as long as she could before handing the project onto John. Keith had already briefed the team to expect my arrival. I remember their names because they impressed me with their dedication and I wanted to recognize all of them. They didn't charge me anything and suggested I pay it forward with my own good deeds and of course recommended purchasing new hearing aids from Costco. This is a great group of compassionate people! Thank you so much!!

Don't waste your time. So, we've been pretty happy as Costco…read moremembers for most of the past 15 years. We recently relocated and the two closest Costco warehouses are each about 30 minutes away, and the BJs is about 15 minutes away. So, we decided to give them a shot. First off, the prices on the shelf are okay, but you have to clip coupons in order to really get the perks of membership. I know my grandmother got a bit of a thrill clipping coupons and earning extra savings, but I have a career, a home and a family; I don't have time to clip all of the coupons. But, okay, fine, we'll muddle through... In November, they offered a free turkey to any member who spent more than $100. We spent more than $100 (our first visit was upwards of $400). We clipped the coupon when it arrived on the app. I figured there would be some demand for a free turkey, so I arrived at the store opening that Saturday morning. As expected there was a little traffic; probably two dozen people lined up for the free turkeys. The shelf was almost empty (about 10 birds), the largest turkey was about 12 lbs. The associates working in that department seemed to be caught off guard, as they scrambled around wondering why there was a crowd, they mentioned there was a pallet of frozen turkeys in the back and agreed, after some pressure from the crowd, to get it out. About 20 minutes later they wheeled a half dozen turkeys out of the back. I imagine there were more that they had, but I got mine and got on my way. At the register, the clipped coupon for my free turkey didn't work and I had to have a manager override the purchase. All-in, kind of a hassle, they clearly weren't prepared for the predictable crowd, and did their morning employees a disservice by not stocking the freezer the night before, but okay, I got a free turkey. The last straw came when we made an online purchase with them for a Christmas present for my daughter. The item, a clamp for a phone for her bike was ordered through their website and cost about $25. When the package arrived, all that was there was the envelope with a slit in it and an empty box. We tried processing a return online, but the instructions on the website told us to go to the store. I did. At the store, the customer service rep was nice enough, but didn't know how to help. The assistant manager was short and unhelpful, and instructed me to go online to process the return. I made clear that I did not appreciate the runaround and that at this point it's less about the $25 and it's about good customer service. I pay for a membership here, so I can have access to relatively good deals on larger quantities of things I need to furnish and feed my family of 6. I expect that when a branch of their company gets something wrong, that the individuals in my local store who see me a few times a month can remedy the situation easily enough. Especially if the issue is as small as a $25 return. My request was met with indifference and disdain. I was given an 800 number to call and told that nothing else could be done for me in the store. I asked to speak with the store manager. He came over and was not kind. He first told me that he didn't need to hear what I had to say because he already heard it from his assistant. When I expressed that I felt disrespected and disregarded, he allowed me to speak and tell my story anyway. I finished, he didn't care, he understood that this $25 would cost his company my business, I left. I spent 40 minutes on the phone (I think to Mexico) to process my return. I was assured that once the vendor agreed to the refund I would get an email. We'll see. At any rate, save your time on the hassle, disappointment and disrespect, just get a Costco membership..
