I can't believe I haven't written a review on Costco yet, considering I shopped here regularly before the pandemic! Costco, not surprisingly, is huge and carry a variety of items. Some of my go-to's include: -Rotisserie chicken -Lasagne -Seaweed snacks -Bananas -Sausages -Tiramisu cakes -Baby spinach -Oh, and notebooks Costco pharmacy is arguably the most affordable pharmacy around. The technicians are very busy but they're nice and will pick up the phone even during the busiest hours. The food court is my favourite, but I think it's closed during the pandemic. If you haven't had one of their iconic $1.50 hot dogs yet, definitely give it a try. Their ice cream cones are amazing too. The parking lot is huge but always busy. Washrooms are clean. Staff are nice. Just a warning that this place gets SUPER busy at times, even during the pandemic. Always expect to be near others and long check-out lines are the norm. Happy shopping! read more

Extremely disgusted and disappointed with the establishments employees. Myself and my Grandma both suffer from anxiety and need our service dogs with us at all times. Firstly, I walk in with my service animal and I am bombarded with 3 woman about my dog, I explain that my dog is a service dog, she does not wear a vest and I do not carry my paperwork for proof of service animal. As described within the Law, workers must never ask to see proof of disability, such as mental health in our case, nor ask for proof of documentation. Furthermore, my grandmother was unable to carry her service animal, per sore shoulder, so her husband was following about 2 minutes behind. Her husband explained that the dog was a service animal and they then began to argue with him. They were extremely rude and unkind during the altercation and all he was trying to do, was get the service dog to my grandma so that her anxiety was able to stay under control. Her husband was then escorted out of the establishment and then was threatened that they would call the police. We we're very lucky that my grandma did not have an anxiety attack. read more

I love Costco based on the fact that I can buy copious amounts of food for cheap. I generally buy my yogurt, chips (gigantic bags 2 for $10) and other snacks here (skinny pop and roasted chick peas). Their health and beauty items (deodorant, feminine products and medicine) is a great deal. Samples are awesome as well but they usually aren't being served when I go (Thursday or Wednesday evenings). Cashiers however are less than friendly and generally don't even greet you. As a customer service employee myself it kind of irks me when I get less than stellar service. The snack bar is also delicious (with mediocre customer service) you can't beat a hot dog and a pop for $2. Their fries are also magical, Costco makes one of the best poutines I have ever had. read more

Cancelled our membership as one of the top 10 ways to save money is cancelling Costco membership!! Called them 4 times over 1 year to remove us from their mailing list as we have moved homes. They continue to send mail and have now altered my name on the mail! Classless. read more

Costco is awesome. They have so many goods and services here it's unbelievable, and at reasonable prices too. I have been to this Costco many a times; and I also have been to the Costco in Windsor, where I grew up; and there is a difference. The layout is different, which confused me the first few times I came in here, but the service was outstanding, and the employees are nice. I went in today to find myself a new pair of glasses and sunglasses, a recommendation from my boyfriend. Upon arriving at this location, on a Sunday around 1:00pm, the parking lot was packed, and there were people everywhere! It can get pretty chaotic with people walking in and out, and everywhere are carts too, so be careful when you pass the entrance. It has been busy at other times as well, I honestly don't know when a good time will be to go to Costco. This one is always busy! Costco is amazing for it's items in bulk. You can get more at a cheaper price and they always have a good selection of items. They also sell clothes, books, premade foods, meats, cheeses, and anything else you can think of, as well as a photo lab and an optical area, in which I went to today to find new glasses. I started looking on my own because it was busy, of course, then one of the opticians came to help us out. She was amazing at giving her opinion and helping me find a style that suit me with both my glasses and sunglasses, and she was very thorough with making sure the frames were good, the glasses sit perfectly on my face and the colour I wanted for my sunglasses. Costco was also having a promotion when you buy two glasses you get $50 off! Now I don't have my own Costco membership, I have been mooching off friends and family, which is fine, I don't go that often to need one myself. Eventually I'd like to get one, because I wouldn't have to worry about asking someone who has one to go. This has to be one of my favourite Costco's I've been too. read more

I had a problem with my hearing aids today I accidentally went into a swimming pool with them in I panicked I called Costco what can I do they said bring them in and we'll see if we can help you with them I put them in rice in a container and with in two hours took them to the Costco store where I had purchased them three years previously they put my hearing aid in a machine to take the humidity out of them and then I don't know what they did to them but within an hour they gave them back totally restored free of charge the best service anyone could possibly ask for the girls name was Kathy. read more

Try and get here before peak hours because this place fills up quickly and the parking lot can get pretty crazy. That being said, the staff here are extremely efficient and I'm always impressed by how clean they keep the stores in spite of the traffic that flows through here. I'm really impressed by the natural health and supplement selection they have here; it's always well stocked and they have a good handle on what is currently available and popular. My other favorite section to shop here is the clothing - I've found some really high-quality gym wear for extremely low prices, and the quality of the clothing is generally great. The fast food isn't going to win any awards but it's probably the cheapest in the city! I don't have my own membership here because I'm not responsible for feeding my own army, but try and go here with a friend who has a membership. You will have enough laundry detergent to last for years. read more

The people who don't like costco are people that aren't interested in getting deal, or buying in bulk or perhaps just don't like they way they usually end up having a heart attack at the bill when they check out. BUT, I find if you go, buy what ever is on sale (you do have the choice to make smart shopping decisions ei. if you're not going to drink that much orange juice before it expires, don't buy it!) you'll be laughing. It's already cheaper to buy it in bulk more often than not, (some things not, you just need to pay attention) so if you buy what's on sale it's a super deal! I don't mind my little stash I'm collecting downstairs and I pay attention to the costs so I don't find it a problem at all. Their food consession is great too! Really great footlong hot dog and unlimited fountain pop for two bucks! Beat that! (Guess I should try the poutine!!!). I didn't formerly like paying the membership fee but perhaps this sounds nuts but it's better now that I upgraded to an executive membership (for double the price - regular membership is about $50 - executive about $100) With the executive membership you actually earn points which translate into cash at the end of the year. Apparently if I had had the executive membership last year, I would have paid for this years membership and received about $40 back (or another years executive membership) but bottom line; membership being paid for AND, if you don't earn your membership $ back, they actually refund you the difference so it's a no loose situation. I still can't figure out what's in it for them! One thing that really DOES suck? They only take cash, debit and American Express. read more

This is a review for the Wireless etc...boutique inside of Costco. They were easy to deal with. Returned a cell case twice and no problems at all. As for COSTCO they didn't make me wait through lines and the usual craziness. Next time I may choose wireless etc as my cell plan guys. read more

Costco rules. If you love buying 48 giant rolls of paper towels and 5 gallon cans of tomato sauce this place is for you! In all seriousness, Costco is great for getting deals on bulk items. Lot's of parking and this location is far more convenient than the Wellington/401 location. read more

Two weeks ago I went to the vision department skeptical and unsure if I would buy glasses here. I love Costco so I thought I would give it a try. I have to say, I've received so many compliments on my new glasses. The quality is great, price great and the customer service was amazing. Yes, the wait times can be frustrating, but once I was helped by Ivan (hope I've spelt his name right) ---all was good! He was very knowledgeable and helped me find the best glasses for my face shape. Super patient and willing to make sure I went home happy about my decision. I even got my eye exam here too! Costco is the place to go to buy foods in bulk especially if you are a restaurant owner or serve food! You can buy food cheaper for bulk which is great when you are planning to have lots of people over! Lots of traffic in the store which can slow you down! The cashiers are nice, they often smile and i have never had a bad experience with them! read more
