It has a wide selection of snacks, prepackaged sandwiches etc for lunch as well as fresh fruit and veg, frozen food etc so you can easily do your weekly shop in here. Very busy but there are usually lots of tills open and there is a separate section for express tills for people with a small amount fo items so you never have to wait very long.

Using my sat nav just to try find a grocery shop and I passed budgens and as I was trying to find a safe place to turn around I happen to find Tesco which to my delight had a big car park which was sign posted very well! So I got a great spot next to the entrance and at first grabbed a basket as I knew this was a small store but just going down one aisle I then decided I needed a trolley as there was more items you can get through this store! I ended up doing my whole weekend shopping which was great for me as I didn't have to venture anywhere else and the queues for the till was very short and staff were very friendly!

On Thursday the 28th December I purchased a reduced pack of prawns and salmon with a sun dried tomato mousse, served in little oyster shells. From that momentary lack of judgment I have been in bed for 2 1/2 days, partly spent staring down the shinny brilliant white inner sanctum to the dogs of war playing field!!! Thanks for the dizzy spells, headache, sweats and relentless nauseating feeling asda.

Due to it's location in Calais this place is popular amongst people who want to get alcohol at a cheaper price than in the UK. But the store felt empty. Many many shelves were empty or close to. Lots of stuff was sold out or just not available. Was a bit of a mess on the shelves too. All looked a bit unorganised. There is also a huge games and toys section for a supermarket, including video games and consoles which is quite well stocked. Clothes are also for sale and there are changing rooms available to try these on. This is a great store and we often travel from the town next door due to the huge amount on offer here. Queues are often short as there are dozens of checkouts with really efficient staff working there. The car park is also reallly big, there is a valet service available for while you shop, and we have never had any trouble finding a space.

Quite a large co-op selling the usual milk, bread gas and electric. You can also do your lottery here. The service is very slow. Many of times I have gone to pay but the queues have been so long that I have walked back out of the shop. They normally have 2 tills open but still your waiting about 20 minutes. I think half the problem is that when it comes to serving cigarettes or drink the staff are too young to serve that they have to ring the buzzer for help, but the people in the staff room tend to take their time which is quite embarrasing for the member of staff serving! All in all not a bad store.
