I haven't been back in a long time, but with my now much-more-substantial knowledge of Hamburg, it doesn't feel so far away - especially if you happen to live in Altona or own a bike (cycling around Hamburg is easy). The bar itself is sort of like a big shed (see the photos). They have a small stage at one end for bands, which is actually the only reason that I've ever visited!

Based on less than a minute in the club, I would describe the place as unwelcoming, rude and…read morepretentious. We walked in relatively early on a Saturday evening, the place was quite empty, a sign outside indicated that a party/concert was on that evening from nine. We eyed up some seats and before we knew it the staff said that all the seats were reserved, next the lady asked 'are you here for the party?', before i could respond (we might have wanted to stay/find out more, etc.), a man jumped in and said 'no, they are not'. We won't be back.
