I purchased furniture from Valyou Furniture for three different properties with total orders exceeding 25000 dollars. The purchases included over ten beds sofas two dining tables and additional home accessories. The website looks great the designs are nice and prices are always presented as discounted. However the actual quality of the products is average at best and in some cases below average. Within less than two years two Charm beds completely collapsed to the floor. One dining table broke. The sofas while still looking fine visually lost all structural support and now sink badly. I recently contacted the company for help because several beds literally broke. To my surprise Valyou Furniture refused to help stating that their warranty is only one year and my purchase was just two months outside the warranty period so they would not offer any support. A piece of furniture meant for daily use especially at this price point offering only a one year warranty raises serious questions. I regret ever buying from Valyou Furniture. I spent $1,800 on a two-piece sectional and within 30 days discovered a hole deep in the crevice between the seat and backrest -- large enough to fit my entire hand into. Naturally, I thought it was a defect. I contacted Valyou immediately, only to be brushed off and sent to their third-party warranty company, Propair Warranty. After four months of back-and-forth, I was told this hole is somehow "part of the design", even though the hole only exists on one side of the sectional, not both. Their explanation makes no sense. They also falsely claimed the hole was at a fabric joining point, which it isn't. Rather than offering a real solution, Valyou offered me a complimentary extended warranty -- as if that fixes the fact that I have a brand-new sofa with a hole in it. Save yourself the frustration. If anything's wrong with your order, Valyou will just pass you off to their warranty company, waste months of your time, and dismiss your concerns as "normal." Absolutely unacceptable. * as you'll see in their response to this review, they keep insisting the hole is an intentional part of the design. I want to highlight the fact that I can fit my entire hand in this hole, and also, that the sectional is two separate pieces. The hole is only present in one of the pieces. We made a huge mistake purchasing a sofa from this store. Ivan was pleasant when we first visited, and we were drawn to a feather-filled sectional that felt comfortable in the showroom, even though it was a low-profile design. We decided to purchase the sectional along with an ottoman. We were told it had just been restocked and would be delivered within a few days, and that the delivery team would contact us to coordinate. Two days later, we received an email with a tracking number and a delivery date we never agreed to--despite being told they'd reach out first to schedule. At that point, we still had our old sofa and were in the middle of renovations, so timing was important. We emailed the delivery department and got a response from Rose Adao. We provided our availability, but she said she couldn't guarantee a delivery on those dates. Then, without confirming anything with us, she scheduled delivery for a day we explicitly said we were unavailable. It created a pretty messy situation. We reached out to Ivan, who said he'd follow up, but that turned out to be an empty promise. As for the sofa itself--it looks nice, but after sitting on it for just 30 minutes, it became clear it's not nearly as comfortable as it seemed in the store. The cushions collapse and lose shape very quickly. For a piece that cost over $3K, we expected far better quality. To make matters worse, their 14-day return policy is essentially a scam. My advice is to be completely sure of what you need before buying at this place. Their customer support post sale is terrible, nule. In theory, buying at the store gives you some mental peace, but good luck getting people on the phone if you have a return or a request. Even when they answer, they don't have any autonomy to resolve any issue. Then, you are left with a chatbot on a website, which, if you are lucky, starts a ticket that is answered by someone once in a while. There are no phone numbers where you can call and talk to a human, and there is zero care if you have a problem. In my case, after 21 days of trying to cancel and get a refund for certain products that were not in inventory and sold to us without even letting us know, they still are holding my money for no reason. The worst is to get a product delivered to your home and try to schedule a return/refund. For more than 2 weeks, we didn't have any information or clarity of the process, and after they finally picked it up, now they need up to 7 business days to "inspect" and evaluate if they return my money. I don't recommend the experience, the frustration, and the uncertainty of not getting your money back at all if something is wrong or if you change your mind and plan to return anything. read more

I am writing this to hopefully give someone insight before they spend their hard earned money on something that just isn't worth it! I want to express my disappointment with a sofa I purchased from your company in March 2024. Despite being promised a delivery by May 2024, by Toby at the LA store! I did not receive the Malibu sectional (which includes two corner pieces, a middle section, and an ottoman) until June 2024. Toby himself said to go buy a piece of foam from DTLA TO MAKE IT MORE COMFORTABLE! After seven months of use, the quality of the sofa has been far below expectations. The cream-colored fabric is prone to rapid staining despite using an anti-stain spray, and the cushions have become excessively flat, to the point where I can feel the base of the sofa. The material covering the cushions is fraying quickly, even with minimal use. Additionally, the sectional is uncomfortable and lumpy, which makes it difficult to enjoy, even though I have invested in additional filling in an attempt to improve its comfort and appearance. For a purchase totaling over $3,000, I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the product. The sofa does not maintain its shape, looks cheap, and does not live up to the standards promised by your company. I have taken great care in maintaining the sofa, yet it has not held up as expected. read more

Your order can be delayed 4-5 weeks (which is entirely the company's fault), and the company will not even let you cancel your order for a full refund. They have a horrendous cancellation policy that only lets you receive 50% of the refund, even if you are cancelling due to a fault of the company (e.g. more than a month's delay for the order until you no longer need it). Customer service is very unflexible and does not care about customer satisfaction. If you decide to wait out the order and return it upon arrival, beware: turns out they deduct $100+ of shipping & return fees from your refund (even if initial shipping was free).
