I order food and and they brought out or food and didn't bring out my order that I went for pancakes there and didn't get them waiter later came out and said they was still working on the pancakes after my family and I wore finish eating also while we ate nobody came out to see if we needed any drinks. When I was younger, my parents used to take me to this diner called Jim's Restaurant in Pico Rivera, California. We're talkin sometime in the late nineties. When you step into this restaurant- you literally turn back the clock and the first thing you notice are the white walls, red faux leather booths and wood-like table tops. The wholesome reminder of "the good day" I like to think. The service here is impeccable, there's a wonderful lady who is very attentive. The food is what you would expect at a diner. An old-school diner that is. The price of the food is also a reminder of all things good. An omelette is about 13 dollars with hash browns and a side of your choice in other delicious plates. I've been wanting to try this place for a while. It's not much to look at from the outside and I find that places like this can sometimes surprise you. Well, I definitely was not let down! I had the chicken breast club with fries and it was great! The door dough was grilled perfectly. The chicken was cooked perfectly - juicy and cooked all the way through. The fries were hot and fresh as was the sandwich. Service was very fast and friendly and the inside of the store was clean. Today was not their finest day... being there was only 4 tables (dropping to 2 after 10 minutes) including ours while we were in there at 7:30AM. Waiting quite a bit for drinks, then every order they did was to go and was done before ours... so 20 minutes later we got our food and my pancakes were still wet. I made sure to touch them, pull my finger off and show my waitress... hash browns were mushy, the French toast was great. They used to be better at the end of 2020... this is our last visit to the establishment for maybe another 6 months when new staff will be in there. The previous time (3 months ago) they sat us by the open fireplace that had very cold wind flowing in, that time we didn't even eat we just left because instead of having us wait they'd rather have us be uncomfortable... thanks guys. read more

Great American breakfast joint. We ordered the "Country Big Breakfast" special (or something along those lines). It came with 2 bacon, 2 sausage links, ham, 3 eggs, hashbrowns, 2 biscuits and gravy, and 3 large pancakes. This was enough for my boyfriend and I. The hashbrowns were DELICIOUS. Both restaurant s on Bethany and Camelback have the best wait staff. Even if they are swamped they have a smile and continue to check on you. The cooks always are clean at Bethany and puts out great food. Even when you ask for items to be cooked a certain way, it comes out the way you ordered. The place is clean and again the wait staff Rocks! PS. Signs are placed around restaurant regarding drinks on coupons. This has been that way for at least a year. read more

This place just opened a while back in the building left vacant for a while when Streets of New York left. It is a 24 hour diner with all the normal menu items. I like what they did with the place brightening it up and adding a small counter. I did not go out there but I think they kept the patio dining too. I had a sourdough burger and an insanely huge amount of fries. It was pretty good. Like all their burgers it came with the veggies on the side but the burger was sealed shut with the melted cheese and grilled onions so I ate them as a salad. I was at the counter and service was pretty good, a touch cocky which fit the atmosphere. Prices were reasonable but like all the Country Boys they have coupons they hand out when you pay for BOGO that do not have expiration dates on them. read more

I went to the one on Bethany home in Phoenix I read all the reviews and was hesitant to go but my boyfriend insisted that it was good so I went. It really was very good! I got a salad with thousand island which i never do because the waitress said that the thousand island was really good. I also got a chicken fried steak which was everything it should be. Me and my fiance and the family celebrated his mom's birthday at this country boys on 43rd and bethany home rd last night and I gotta tell ya we had no complaints about the service nor the food. All of the food was brought out at once; nobody had to wait for their dinner. The food tasted great (compliments to the chef!) And the waitress was wonderful. She did not forget anything we asked for and kept refilling our drinks. We never had to hunt her down and did not feel ignored. She was the best!! Maybe the worst food I've ever eaten. My wife and I came in with our 50% off coupon a little skeptical about a restaurant who can offer that kind of a deal and stay in business? We found that the prices were double about what they should be for the food we got. I ordered a Turkey Supreme. To get the additional salad I think I had to pay an additional .50 which I ordered with honey mustard dressing. The Turkey Supreme was a flattened turkey sandwich on it's own plate with the kind of packaged turkey meat you'd find at Fry's. The salad though was an embarrassment. It consisted of a Fresh Express package type salad with mostly lettuce and a few shards of carrot thrown in for color. The dressing was a spontaneously made concoction tasting of pure mustard and something sweet thrown in and perhaps a little oil. It looked like clean motor oil. It's the kind of place where you walk in and the waitress has a friend at the counter and they are involved in some sort of mini-crisis and you just happen to drop by. The food was good, it was diner quality. Nothing amazing but it was decent. Certainly worth the stop if you are looking for a cheap, good meal. They only had one girl waiting tables and running payments, and she did very well despite having no help. Especially for our large party of 8. The prices are meh, and the place is a little run down.
