Not only is Country Fabrics one of the best and well stocked stores I have ever seen in the fiber arena, but the owner is committed to low cost and is extremely customer oriented. Her quilting contacts do a wonderful job whether it be quilting by machine or hand quilting, and her prices are below the average store without quality being diminished. The store is the exclusive seller of the fiber tool, Yarn Lazy Susan, as well as other items such as Tyme Clocks. There are novelties, usually free coffee for the men, and over 9,000 bolts of fabric to choose from at less than average cost per yard. If you can't find a special fabric, ask the store. They will try to locate it, and if they do find it, they will order it for you. You will only have to pay for what you need, not the entire bolt. This store is in Central Ohio near Mansfield (Shiloh), and is a must see. Nearby are the Country Store with Amish cheeses and bulk foods, a Mennonite hardware store, fresh vegetable roadside vendors (Sunny Crest Farms on Rt 13 at Shenandoah is the best), and mums galore in the Fall. The Country Fabrics owner also publishes a monthly news letter letting you know about other information in the Mennonite Community. Plan a day trip, it will be well worth your while.. read more
