I found some small bowls of the set I collect, appropriately priced. I didn't dicker over the price. Good: friendly greeting staff, vast variety, enough shoppers so it didn't feel creepy. Very interesting old mansion to tour. Bad: if you are sensitive to smells, you may find some of those here unpleasant. Because I am, I would only go back if I needed something, not just to look.

Set in a gorgeous pastoral landscape with barn buildings dating to 1840, we were warmly greeted by a classic pick up truck and Pinterest-ready string lights before meeting the incredibly friendly shopkeeper within. Boy, was the trip worth it. The shop is brimming with an array of exciting and reasonably priced curiosities, vintage pieces, ephemera, antiques, leather furniture, and upcycled denim. Parts of the store remind me very much of Ralph Lauren's more rustic aesthetics, and I was super impressed by the sophistication and style with which the store was curated. The grounds are also so beautiful that it could easily be an event space, or a great place for lemonade or hot cider should they ever decide to sell refreshments. Can't wait to return.
