What we saw was modern but in many places you could tell it was older and not too sophisticated. The Days Inn is one of those. The little hotel neighborhood actually seemed scary when we rolled up. Maybe because it was older or because it just wasn't polished. Either way it was safe and everyone friendly. The hotel was actually very quiet, shocking when you consider how close it is to the main drag. First, their pillows aren't very good. We don't care because we bring our own. But it needs to be said. The carpeting is old and faded. Even dirty. We found bits of food in the crevasses. But I bet most 1,2,3 star hotels do. The beds were very comfy and we got a great night's sleep. They use a nice quality towel and wash rag set. Not important, but considerate. We appreciated that. We also like the Dove soap canisters in the shower. How rare is it that all three were fully topped off? Love that, too. I'm so happy they allow small dogs. It's hard to find a decent inn that will allow your pets and since we're moving, we had to bring them. I wasn't impressed with the breakfast. Like a carb fest. I need more protein based, so we skipped that in lieu of a stop in town. But, thank you for the offer. 09/23

After staying at some Travellodge this was Days Inn was a treat…read more Front desk agent at check in was all smiles and very pleasant (wish i had gotten her name) Even made a point to knowledge my son. There was only one lady working the desk and a small line up of people to check in but she was very professional and quick through. Hotel room was on the second floor. Very nice! Hotel was right off the highway as you are entering going West. Very easy to get into. Pool was fun, BUT! the Slide is TOO fast. So fast that my son hit his head coming down on the slide. After that He was not allowed to go on. There was zero separation from the slide drop off to the rest of the pool so people coming down the slide even with you being on the other side of the pools swimming you have to be cautious as they would slide and land as far as where you were. Not ideal for a 5 year and 3 year old. They do have another shallow pool area which was meh! okay could have been better. Just a hole with few inches of water for the little ones. Hot tub was fine, no complaints - its a hot tub! Now the best part! The Breakfast... Word of advice, Get down there as soon as the breakfast starts because there will be a HUGE line up for the pancake maker. You press the button of how many you want and it makes it for you and slides out on the other end so make sure you put your plates for them to land on. Breakfast nook is a tad small for how many people were eating/there. But the morning breakfast staff were amazing at restocking and always made sure they had food out. I'd stay again.

I ding the hotel points on this only because of the advert on the desk in the room. 2 - Our electronic keys stopped working twice during our visit. The second time the lady who reset the keys was grumpy that we interrupted her smoke break. Two and a half stars may be a more appropriate rating.

Arrived in late around midnight but the staff member was very polite and cheerful. ...Good on her haha All I can say honestly is that the bed was so comfy I did not move all night! I actually wanted to steal the bed and take it with me, second the rooms are very nice and modern. I got a great rate online through hotels.com even booking same day. When I arrived, they had my reservation and took all the other necessary information for my stay. I took my room card and headed to the elevator. There are 2 elevators which is a nice surprise. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. This hotel is fairly new and it shows. They don't provide breakfast but there's a McDonald's right across the street. Beds were very comfy. Room also had a mini fridge and microwave. I forgot my toothpaste and the front desk was able to provide me a travel size tube. Internet is free and easily accessible. Had no problems with the signal. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I had to print out a couple of things and they have a business/computer room right off of the lobby in which you can use the computer/internet and print anything you may need. The pool was nice although not very large. There's a slide so of course it was jam packed with screaming kids. This was the first time ever that I have seen a lifeguard on duty. I used the hot tub which unfortunately was more of a warm tub. Why can't they make it hot like the name implies? Oh well. There were lots of clean dry towels available on deck. My other complaint regarding the pool is that it's only open til 10pm. Would be nice if it stayed open another hour. There are lots of restaurants and shopping near by. Across the street is a Walmart and down the highway you will find everything you want: London Drugs, Superstore, Safeway, East Side Marios, and the classic Saskatchewan Peavey Mart. I ate at the lounge next door, Movado's. It was ok but they forgot to put the sauce on my wings. Ick! The food is actually made by the Perkins adjoining it. One night I walked over to the Chili's for a rotten belini and a sickly sweet raspberry margarita in which they put vanilla. WTF? Who in their right mind puts vanilla in their margaritas? Waitress said it's what they do. My drink had this big black gob and when I asked what the hell it was, she told me vanilla bean, I tried a bellini but didn't drink it because they changed the recipe and now it's pretty gross. Left thirsty and hungry. Stopped at McD's on way back to hotel. My stay here was fantastic and would stay here again. Sure beats staying with my stupid brother and going home all covered in dog hair.

If all I have to complain about is the in room coffee than this was a most enjoyable stay…read more I was traveling with an elderly parent who need moderate assistance.. the hotel facilitated us with adjoining rooms, this made our stay so much easier. You also can't get to the floor without your key, I like this added security feature. The hotel also had a wheelchair they graciously allowed us to use over our 3 day stay. We used both room service and dinning room. The food was pretty good by my standards. I have to recommend the Chockcherry Ribs. The rooms were clean completely equipped with what a traveler needs, they even had a toothbrush at the front desk if needed. Each room has a small balcony to stand out and get some fresh air, sadly our stay was smoke from the fires. The beds in my opinion were perfect.. not to soft or firm. I have a bad back an found them very comfortable for my condition. Our rooms had a small fridge and a locking safes. I really appreciate those small but very useful amenities. The hotel is green friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating.. the hotel has a small kiosk to raid in the event of the midnight snack attack or missing toiletries..

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable with nice linens. I was not a fan of the large, overstuffed pillows but that is my feeling. The room has a balcony which was nice. Room amenities were standard, but the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Staff were friendly, however, the front desk can be understaffed and get backed up at check-in or check-out times.

My credit card was successfully charged for the security deposit, and I showed the front desk proof of the transaction. I even called my credit card company while standing at the desk, and they confirmed the deposit had been authorized. Despite this, the hotel refused to check me in unless I paid the deposit a second time. The front desk employee was extremely rude, raised his voice at me, and showed no professionalism or willingness to help. Because of this, I had to leave, book another hotel, and pay additional money while traveling with my family. THEY HAVE NOT RELEASED MY DEPOSIT BACK YET PLUS I LOST MY RESERVATION MONEY I THREW OUT 220$ AVOID AVOID THIS HOTEL

They have complimentary breakfast, which has quite a variety of items ( sausages, eggs, scones, muffins, pastries, fruit, waffles, coffee, tea, juice, hot chocolate ect ) There is a dining area to enjoy your food, it was clean and well maintained. The room was large, had a king size bed, as well as a couch, desk and decent bathroom. The maids were saw were friendly and gave me extra towels and toiletries no problem - Now for the bad. - The bed & pillows were ROCK hard! It felt like sleeping on a large hard match box. The pillows were way too thick and firm. There was no way I could use them - I took a cushion off the couch and wrapped it in a pillow case . Still not great. We checked out on Wed morning. It's now Friday morning and I see that my credit card ( which was only used for deposit ) has been charged 214$ !! My Gf had already paid the room via Expedia ... Or so we thought ...no one informed us of this when we checked in or out..l

Did I tell the staff to get a different room? No. And let me tell you why. Upon booking my stay months in advance for a relative's wedding, I asked if an early check in would be possible that day because I'm coming from out of town for the wedding with a toddler. I was told yes of course just call a week or so ahead and confirm. I instead sent an email the Monday before the stay and was told they can't say for sure but to call a few hours before on the day of and inquire. So I did that and was told that a note was made on my file that an early check in requested and that the room was prioritized and they were currently working on it but to call 15-30 minutes before. Well, [wrongfully] assuming I'd have access to a room to change in, I wasn't wearing my formal attire for the wedding. I called just one more time to see if I could get into the room and was told no it wasn't ready. So instead of getting ready in a room like a normal person, I had to get dressed in the parking lot in my vehicle. So fine, there was no other option so I just went with it and attended the wedding (at this hotel mind you) and tried to get an early check in after the ceremony. Was again told no it's not ready. So we sat in the lobby of the hotel trying to figure out what to do and was fortunate enough to have family let us use their room temporarily. We ended up leaving and going for a drive because there was nothing else to do between the ceremony and the supper, hoping that we would get a call that the room was ready like they said they would do. Finally, my parents were able to get into their room so I thought great my room will be ready too! Especially now since it's after 4PM GUARANTEED CHECK IN... Well much to my disappointment, I was told that my room was still not ready. I know it isn't the front desk receptions fault so I kept my cool but I told the employee working that we have been given the runaround since before 1 today and at this point I would appreciate ANY room. The employee was able to switch me to another room which was extremely appreciated. So after all that, was it worth calling the front desk to complain about things wrong with the room? No. Would they have another room to move to readily available? Highly doubt it. The water park was fun for my toddler, but I don't think the big extravagant water park warrants an almost $200 a night charge for a basic hotel room with cosmetic and plumbing issues. This whole situation really put a damper on the entire weekend and my family couldn't get out of there fast enough in the morning. According to the screen in the lobby showing events and where they were located within the hotel, there was 2 weddings and a couple other meetings taking place at the hotel that weekend. We also heard from another guest that there were 2 or 3 hockey teams as well as a volleyball team staying at the hotel that weekend. We were told by the staff that there were many late checkout requests they had to deal with that day, to which I suggest maybe coordinating that better so that guests that are booked in the wedding block for the celebration that is happening at the hotel be prioritized over late checkouts as the ceremony started at 2PM. All in all, the staff were friendly, but I will not be going out of my way to stay at this hotel again. Not worth the money or the headache.

Staff still friendly. Price is still the best we can find in the area. We will stay here again and again when we pass through Regina.

The hotel is also right beside a Shell, so getting gas is a breeze when you want to depart.
